FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Pro-life diaper company EveryLife is launching a campaign message Wednesday to those in Atlanta through a towering billboard that reads “Make more babies.” EveryLife‚ which describes itself as “America’s leading pro-life diaper company‚” is pairing the billboard message with a post on X (formerly Twitter) from the social media platform’s owner‚ Elon Musk‚ that reads‚ “Having children is saving the world.” The company also plans to host an “Atlanta Diaper Drive” and give away more than 20‚000 diapers to needy families on Wednesday. The effort is part of EveryLife’s “Make More Babies” campaign and is tied to the upcoming Georgia March for Life‚ which will take place Thursday in Atlanta. Speakers at the state march will include Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr‚ Georgia Labor Commissioner Bruce Thompson‚ and pro-life activist Alveda King‚ niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Georgia is a very pro-life state‚ where state laws protect unborn babies from abortions after six weeks. Women who wish to abort their unborn baby must wait 24 hours after they have received counseling‚ and parental notice is required for a minor girl to be able to obtain an abortion‚ according to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute. In June‚ Michael Seifert told The Daily Signal that he was offering his employees a $5‚000 “baby bonus” to help sustain their families as a response to woke corporations incentivizing employees’ abortions. He said he got the idea after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022 and witnessed major companies making “impassioned petitions to pay for their employees’ abortions.” “I was shocked by that‚ because it’s an immoral and egregious act for an employer to pay for an employee to terminate their children‚” he told The Daily Signal in June. “That’s my opinion. But on top of that‚ it was also a very blatantly obvious move for just more productivity out of their employees. Catholic Cardinal Timothy Dolan‚ the archbishop of New York‚ addressed the outcry following a “sacrilegious” funeral held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral last week‚ in which wildly dressed transgender activists celebrated the life of an atheist‚ trans-identifying male prostitute. “I think our cathedral acted extraordinarily well‚” said Dolan‚ as he discussed the incident with Father Dave Dwyer in a podcast episode posted Tuesday. “They get a call. They didn’t know the background of this woman‚ who had died‚ all they know is that somebody called and said‚ ‘Our dear friend died. We would love to have the funeral at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It would be a great source of consolation. She’s a Catholic. [It] would be a great source of consolation for us‚ her family‚ and her friends.’” “And of course‚ the priests of the cathedral said‚ ‘Come on in. You’re more than welcome‚’” Dolan added. “Which was beautiful. We didn’t know the background.” He added with a chuckle: “We don’t do FBI checks on people who want to be buried. So‚ anyway‚ then‚ of course‚ once the funeral started is when the trouble started‚ because of the irreverence and the disrespect of the big crowd that was there. It was very‚ very sad.” “And again‚ I applaud our priests who made a quick decision that‚ uh-oh‚ with behavior like this‚ we can’t do a Mass. We’ll do a liturgy of the word‚ which is the readings‚ and the sermon‚ and the prayers of petition and the ‘Our Father‚’ and then we’ll stop it. The Mass is not going to go on. Bravo for our cathedral people‚ who knew nothing about this that was coming up. And then‚ of course‚ it got worse with the eulogies that were very irreverent and disrespectful.” During the funeral service‚ transgender activists appeared to mock Catholic saints and repeatedly celebrated “whores.” The memorial service was for a transgender-identifying prostitute and self-professed atheist who went by the name Cecilia Gentili‚ also revered by LGBTQ activists as a “transgender icon” and advocate. Fr. Edward Dougherty led the service‚ according to Time magazine‚ telling the funeral attendees: “Cecilia died with Christ.” Dougherty‚ who did not respond to requests for comment‚ repeatedly referred to Gentili as a woman. A livestream of the event depicts one of the funeral organizers‚ identified by Time magazine as Oscar Diaz‚ describing Gentili in the following way: “This whore. This great whore. Cecilia is believed to have been beheaded by the Roman Empire for refusing to give up her faith. More than 1‚000 people attended the funeral‚ the Times reported‚ including several hundred transgender activists dressed in fur‚ fishnet stockings‚ miniskirts‚ and even thongs‚ as photographs posted by Time magazine showed. The funeral attendees also placed a picture near the altar‚ where priests celebrate the Catholic Mass‚ that depicted Gentili with a halo and the Spanish words for “transvestite‚” “whore‚” “blessed‚” and “mother‚” as well as the text of Psalm 25‚ the Times reported. A livestream of the funeral shows Dougherty delivering a homily to those in attendance‚ joking‚ “Except on Easter Sunday‚ we don’t really have a crowd that is this well turned out‚” to which the crowd of transgender activists cheers‚ claps‚ and laughs. Why in the world are people out there still believing what the secular press reports is beyond me.” Dolan pointed to a statement from Father Enrique Salvo‚ the pastor of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Salvo issued a statement on Saturday amid outrage over the funeral‚ calling the activists’ behavior “scandalous” and emphasizing that the cathedral “only knew that family and friends were requesting a funeral Mass for a Catholic‚ and had no idea our welcome and prayer would be degraded in such a sacrilegious and deceptive way.” “That such a scandal occurred at ‘America’s Parish Church’ makes it worse; that it took place as Lent was beginning‚ the annual 40-day struggle with the forces of sin and darkness‚ is a potent reminder of how much we need the prayer‚ reparation‚ repentance‚ grace‚ and mercy to which this holy season invites us‚” he said. “At the cardinal’s directive‚ we have offered an appropriate Mass of Reparation.”  Dolan called that statement “excellent.” “Why people still think the cathedral purposefully did that; well‚ a lot of people always want to believe the worst‚ and they don’t like us anymore than the protesters did in the cathedral‚” the cardinal said. “But who knows?” He also addressed the Mass of reparation‚ which has already taken place‚ and was not livestreamed. “In a way‚ it’s redundant‚ because every Mass is the renewal of the infinitely powerful act of reparation that Jesus did on the cross‚ correct?” he said. “He’s the one that made reparation. We can’t do much. All we can do is unite with him on His cross in his sacred act of reparation. There is a bit of an arrow in the quiver of the church’s treasury of prayer‚ that if a particularly sacrilegious or scandalous act has occurred in a church‚ it would be good to offer a Mass‚ in particular reparation for that act of irreverence. The U.S. Department of Agriculture is working with a left-wing advocacy group to boost voter turnout as part of President Joe Biden’s executive order directing federal agencies to get involved in elections. The USDA worked directly with Demos‚ a New York-based group that helped draft Biden’s Executive Order 14019‚ according to records obtained by The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project. The Biden administration hinted that it may attempt to obstruct a congressional investigation into efforts to censor right-leaning outlets‚ documents revealed. In a letter to the House Small Business Committee Chairman Roger Williams (R-TX)‚ the State Department informed investigators that they may be forced to view documents pertaining to a congressional probe into the agency’s support of censorship in an “in camera setting.” Such a threat could limit the committee’s access to documents in its probe of the Global Engagement Center‚ the State Department’s subagency that in recent years has emerged as a financial backer of censorship efforts. The State Department’s letter came in response to the committee’s apparent release of “sensitive but unclassified” documents to the Washington Examiner. “I am writing to express the Department’s deep concern regarding certain information that appears to have been publicly released by the Committee without prior consultation with the Department‚” wrote Naz DurakoÄŸlu‚ the State Department’s assistant secretary bureau of legislative Affairs‚ on Feb. 14.  “The Committee made no effort to consult with the Department to protect or even ascertain any particular sensitivities before making the information public‚” DurakoÄŸlu whined after claiming the Examiner may have jeopardized GEC’s programs. As a consequence‚ the State Department threatened to force the congressional investigators to only view documents in an “in camera setting‚” limiting the spread of documents and most disturbingly‚ strangling out media coverage of the infamous censorship efforts. Williams and Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) rebuked the threat in a Friday letter to Rubin. “Not only is this an impermissible standard‚ but it improperly hinders congressional oversight‚” the lawmakers wrote‚ according to the Examiner. MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider also scolded the State Department’s threats in response. “The State Department can manufacture any lazy ass justification to deny the American public the right to see government records. It does not justify this unconstitutional denial. Congress has oversight powers‚ the State Department does not‚” he said. You May Also Like! The story reported how GEC funded even more censorship activities‚ including a grant to an entity called Albany Associates. The money was intended “to counter terrorist group narratives” in 2019 and to fight “disinformation surrounding mass casualty attacks” in 2021. The West Virginia House of Delegates passed a bill last Friday that would remove criminal exemptions for schools‚ public libraries and museums that distribute “obscene matter” to a minor. This means that if a school librarian gives a student a book about how to masturbate‚ that librarian can go to jail. House Bill 4654 passed late last week by a vote of 85-12.  “State Code defines obscene matter as anything an average person believes depicts or describes sexually explicit conduct‚ nudity‚ sex or certain bodily functions; or anything a reasonable person would find lacks serious literary‚ artistic‚ political or scientific value‚” News and Sentinel reported. One issue that could present itself is that the word “obscene” is sort of down to individual interpretation. Something that may be “obscene” for a 20-year-old Gen Z'er may be different than something that’s considered “obscene” to a boomer. Nonetheless‚ this bill seeks to protect kids from indoctrinating and grooming content‚ which has become more and more prominent in schools in recent years. Whether it's books about masturbating‚ graphic novels about how to film and watch pornography or lessons about why and how you’re transgender‚ people who are supposed to look out for and be advocates for kids are the very people grooming them! Critics insisted that this bill was just another conservative attempt to ban books. That’s‚ of course‚ not true and as News and Sentinel reported‚ “It merely provides the same prohibition against knowingly providing obscene materials to children outside the supervision of parents and guardians that already exist.” Basically‚ kids shouldn't have access to content that is obscene at places like school‚ public libraries and museums.  Bill sponsor‚ Brandon Steele‚ insisted that the bill is necessary to protect kids. “I’m here to protect our young people and make sure they are not put in a vulnerable position where they are presented with pure pornography in an effort to groom them and prepare them for a potential sexual abuse or sexual assault‚” Steele said according to WTAP‚ a local West Virginia news station.  Employees of any of those places who are caught giving or showing minors any bits of obscene matter can face up to $25‚000 in fines or up to five years in prison‚ or both. The bill will now move on to the Senate before‚ if passed‚ it becomes state law.

The “Take Our Border Back Convoy‚” a multistate convoy of Americans dubbed “God’s Army‚” arrived at the Cornerstone Children’s Ranch in Quemado‚ Texas‚ on February 2. The media were on hand in force to meet the convoy. Judging from the headlines the previous week‚ the press seemed to expect violence — maybe even the start of another civil war. What they found instead was free speech‚ truth‚ and revival.Too bad that wasn’t what they reported.Even if the American media failed to report the whole truth‚ the rally at Cornerstone Children’s Ranch was a success.The Cornerstone Children’s Ranch sits approximately 300 yards north of the Rio Grande. For more than two and a half decades‚ this nonprofit Christian group has served and fed low-income and indigent families on both sides of the border. But the press didn’t report that. Cornerstone’s mission was almost thwarted by COVID-19. Since then‚ vandalism and theft by illegal border-crossers have made it increasingly difficult for the organization to meet the needs of the local poor. I bet you didn’t see that on the news‚ either. The media and its sycophants have forgotten that the United States of America exists because 248 years ago our forefathers knew that resistance to tyranny is obedience to God. Armed with that morality‚ a handful of farmers and merchants were able to defeat the greatest military superpower on the planet. That DNA lives on in every single member of God’s Army. We know that our rights do not come from the federal government. Our rights come from God. Don’t take my word for it. Read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. But now when we catch the cartel loads‚ their cargo is children. Last August‚ 20 miles down river‚ I ran into a group coming up the banks of the Rio Grande. It was a woman and six children. She was a Hispanic lady carrying an African baby. When she saw me‚ she burst into tears‚ not because they had all just made it safely through the currents but because when she locked eyes with me‚ she knew that I knew that wasn’t her baby. She knew I had just caught her trafficking a toddler and several children into the country. She knew that I knew what his future had in store‚ because of her. In the old days when children were apprehended at the border‚ there was no way to determine parentage. Donald Trump changed that by requiring biometric DNA testing. If you weren’t proven to be the parent of the child you were requesting‚ you didn’t get that child. The Biden administration ended that policy. Now you have just a small glimpse into why the Biden administration has turned out to be the best thing ever for the Mexican cartels’ bottom line. Now you can understand why the Biden administration was so hell-bent to have the press demonize God’s Army and suppress the truth about the border. If America ever knew the facts about what happens because of the open border‚ it would bring down the Biden administration. Even if the American media failed to report the whole truth‚ the rally at Cornerstone Children’s Ranch was a success. For the first time in the three years since the Capitol protest on January 6‚ Americans weren’t afraid to let their voices be heard en masse. They proved that freedom triumphs over fear. They reopened the front gate to free speech for the rest of the nation. The following Sunday I was shocked to see that some of my comments had been picked up by a news organization … in Hong Kong. To live to see the day when China would report truth that American press wouldn’t truly made last week feel like the media was finally and totally dead.

In celebration of Presidents' Day 2024‚ the Presidential Greatness Project asked a list of “presidential experts” to rank all past and present American presidents — and the final list reveals just how little the “experts” know. 525 respondents were invited to participate‚ and the result was a list of presidents ranked in order from best to worst. Number one was Abraham Lincoln‚ which both Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere disagree with. “He’s in the top five‚” Glenn says‚ before Stu reveals that he would replace his spot at number one with George Washington‚ who was placed at number three by the “experts.” “Washington was one that demonstrated how to use power‚” Glenn explains‚ adding that he “was a reluctant president.” Number two is Franklin Roosevelt‚ which Pat Gray vehemently disagrees with. “FDR is one of the absolute worst. He’s bottom five‚ bottom five for sure‚” Gray says‚ to which Glenn and Stu agree. At number four is Theodore Roosevelt‚ which Glenn recognizes as “another progressive” who’s all about state power. Thomas Jefferson came in at number five‚ which is understandable as he penned the Declaration of Independence — but is another progressive. “I guarantee‚ some of these historians‚ if you looked at their Twitter feeds‚ would be advocating for the tearing down of their statues‚” Stu says. “Look at their George Floyd feeds at the time‚ as they were encouraging Washington and Jefferson statues to come down.” Barack Obama came in at number seven and Joe Biden at number 14. “Biden being there is not all that shocking because of recency bias. Obama I’m expecting‚ and you know the end of this‚ of course‚ everyone probably knows by now‚ is Trump in last‚” Stu says.
