Friday January 19th marked the 51st annual March for Life where pro-lifers from around the nation gather to stand in solidarity and support for all life from the womb to the tomb.  This year’s event was the second one since the Dobbs decision came out back in 2022 and Roe v. Wade was overturned.  Musician Danny Gokey kicked off the event with a pre-rally concert in front of the U.S. Capitol building. After that‚ numerous pro-life speakers took the mic to talk about their own experiences with abortion and how important it is to protect the unborn.  We spoke with many students‚ activists‚ Christians and even some paid protestors about why they attended the event. Unsurprisingly‚ there were only a handful of protestors. Remember‚ the left likes convenience‚ that’s why they support abortion and why they refused to stand  up for their own beliefs when a snowy D.C. day gave them difficulty. At the end of the day it was a great turnout for the March and the overall attitude moving into 2024 seems very positive‚ optimistic and hopeful.

Oklahoma police are trying to identify a woman who was caught on video trying to rob a Burger King with a knife that was still sheathed while her dog sat next to her. The incident occurred at 11:13 p.m. on Oct. 10‚ according to the date stamp on the video from the fast food restaurant in Tulsa. The surveillance video obtained by KOKI-TV showed the woman climb through the drive-thru window with a knife and then struggle with a female employee for a minute before she was shoved back into her car. "This one's a little bizarre‚" said Lieutenant Justin Ritter with the Tulsa Police Department. "This one's a little out of the norm from what we usually deal with." Although the woman interacts with the employee for a few seconds‚ it's unclear what she's demanding because much of the audio is bleeped. Ritter points out that although she had the sheathe on the knife‚ at one point she did try to take it off of the knife‚ but the employee was able to shove her out of the window by that time. "Definitely odd behavior‚ not really sure what's going on with this lady‚" he continued. "There's a dog in the van barking the entire time." He added that the video provided many distinctive features on the vehicle that should allow the woman to be identified quickly. "It's a grey Nissan minivan. There's actually a winking face painted on the driver's side mirror. Looks like a little bit of damage on the driver side bumper just above the bumper. The driver's side door handle is missing‚" he said. "If somebody sees her‚ they're gonna know who she is‚" Ritter asserts.Here's a local news report about the incident: Like Blaze News? Michigan police arrested a woman after she allegedly shoved a 10-year-old child's face into a glass cookie display case and walked away while laughing. The bizarre incident unfolded at the Somerset Mall in Troy last week. Troy Police Captain Josh Jones said that the she was with a group of friends and a guardian when the girl "got pushed face-first into the display" at the Ms. Fields cookie shop. The woman who attacked the girl allegedly laughed before walking away. "That person kind of started laughing like it was a big joke‚ and then made their way through the mall‚" Jones continued. Police described the attack as "unprovoked and for no apparent reason." The girl's guardian contacted security at the mall‚ and they used surveillance video to try to identify the attacker. The woman accidentally aided the investigation by allegedly returning to the mall a day later in order to try to return an item to a store. Security officers and Troy police said they recognized her as the same woman who attacked the girl and she was arrested. Police later identified the woman as 25-year-old Reanna Valentine of Detroit. Valentine was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. She was released on a personal bond of $25‚000 but ordered to be placed on a GPS tether. If convicted‚ she faces a fine of up to $500 and/or 93 days in jail. WJBK-TV said they tried numerous times to get a comment from Valentine‚ but she did not respond. She is next scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 30. The 10-year-old girl was not severely injured‚ only startled. "I started crying and then she turns around‚ she starts laughing at me‚ and then she puts on her mask and runs away‚" the girl said in an interview with WBK-TV.
