The Black Keys cover of William Bell’s ballad “I Forgot To Be Your Lover” is out.  The track is from “Ohio Players‚” the band’s twelfth studio album‚ which is slated to drop April 5th. The set also features the lead single “Beautiful People (Stay High).” The album will be released after the premiere of the documentary‚ “This Is A Film About the Black Keys‚” which will premiere at South by Southwest next month. R.E.M.‚ singer Michael Stipe‚ bassist Mike Mills‚ guitarist Peter Buck and drummer Bill Berry‚ all appeared onstage together in Athens‚ GA on 2/8 for the first time since their Rock &; Roll Hall of Fame induction in ’07. Band members‚ who did not perform‚ were attending a concert featuring actor Michael Shannon (frequent collaborator with director Jeff Nichols) and musician Jason Narducy (featured in the Foo Fighters documentary “Sonic Highways”)‚ who have been touring while playing R.E.M.’s “Murmur” album.
