Meghan Fahy Sheds Light On Betty White’s Unconventional Eating Style Credited For Her Longevity

There are no hard and fast rules for living a long and fulfilled life. This has proven to be very accurate, especially in the life of legendary actress Betty White, known for her portrayal of Sue Ann Nivens on the CBS sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The late actress, known for her sharp wit and infectious optimism, embraced life’s pleasures without guilt all through her life and still thrived well into her late 90s. In a recent interview, Meghann Fahy, who played a younger version of White in the 2011 Hallmark film The Lost Valentine, peeled back the curtain on the highly-awarded actress’s life, sharing insights into her unconventional eating habits. Meghan Fahy says Betty White indulged in a breakfast of chocolate cake paired with vodka on ice Meghan Fahy/Instagram While making an appearance on the Tuesday, April 8 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Fahy revealed that even though she never had the opportunity to work with White, she was able to witness her bizarre eating habits. She recalled seeing the late actress enjoying a breakfast of chocolate cake paired with vodka on ice, an action that simply added to her legendary status. The One Life to Live actress jokingly stated that seeing her icon indulge in such treats and still able to live long, she also decided to start it believing that it was the secret to longevity. Betty White/Instagram Meghan Fahy says Betty White helped in shaping her career and personal life Fahy fondly reminisced on the impact of the late actress, who passed away in December 2021, just three weeks before her 100th birthday. Thinking back on their meeting, the actress admitted that she was really impressed by White’s ability to gracefully and honestly negotiate life and work. She also pointed out that The Proposal star’s attitude to life had her wondering about how a star with such great talent and height could remain so modest and unpretentious. She noted that she learned valuable lessons on how to juggle success with humility and this has helped to shape her perspectives on both her work and personal development.
