‘Live At The Station’ Returns With Another Star-Studded Lineup, Featuring Zach Top, Ella Langley, Kolby Cooper & More

Listen up, Aggieland. Live At The Station is BACK for its third year, and they pulled out all of the stops for this year’s lineup. Live At The Station has been a top contender when it comes to lineups since its inaugural year. It came out of the gate strong with artists like Zach Bryan, Flatland Cavalry, and Treaty Oak Revival. Last year, they kept up the momentum, showcasing the Turnpike Troubadours, Megan Moroney, and Hudson Westbrook, who has become a star in the making since his appearance. For the festival’s third year, it’s no different. They are bringing the heat. The 2025 edition of the festival will feature headliners Zach Top, Ella Langley, Corey Kent, Kolby Cooper, Bottomland, and gritty cowboy artist Andy Buckner. Additionally, the festival is upgrading its venue, moving from the Snook Rodeo Grounds to the Hearne Municipal Airport in College Station. This year, the festival will be held on September 26th, and if you’re an avid Aggie football fan, have no fear—the festival will not interfere with you attending a game, given that it’s held on a Friday. If you’re looking to pack your weekend with football and dang good country music, you’re in luck because Saturday night, September 27th, the Fightin’ Aggies will take on the Auburn Tigers in Kyle Field. In fact, Auburn fans traveling to College Station for the game will be in for a treat to see Zach Top twice in one year, given that he headlined the famed Auburn Rodeo earlier this year. With Zach Top announcing his latest record, Ain’t In It For My Health, which is due everywhere August 29th, fans will have time to familiarize themselves with the new tunes and be ready to sing along with the Washington native. On top of that, Miss Ella Langley has been a proven female powerhouse over the last year, earning the most ACM nominations out of all country artists and leaving the awards show with five. You cannot often say you saw the ACM Male and Female New Artist of the Year on the same day, but Live At The Station makes that dream come true. Live At The Station is not a festival you’ll want to miss. For more information about Live At The Station, visit their website: https://www.atthestationfest.com. Remember to use code RIFF to get your tickets tomorrow, June 19th, at 10 a.m. CT. Presale ends at 11:59 p.m. CT. Supreme Court Upholds Tennessee Ban on Trans Treatments for Minors

The U.S. Supreme Court released its ruling Wednesday morning for U.S. v. Skrmetti, upholding a Tennessee law prohibiting doctors from providing puberty blockers and hormone replacement treatments to minors with gender dysphoria or conducting surgeries on them to modify their sexual characteristics.  The law, passed in Tennessee in 2023, was intended to bar the practice of “gender-affirming healthcare”—which includes using cosmetic surgery and hormone replacement therapies to increase the physical similarity of transgender individuals to their desired sexual appearance—on minors in the state. The legislature argued that the procedures are dangerous to the health of children, citing a number of European studies that concluded the practice is experimental and lacks scientific support, and that minors are incapable of consenting to the potential consequences of the procedures, which are severe and permanent. The bill explicitly permits hormone replacement therapies for other medical uses such as precocious puberty. The state was sued later that year by three transgender youth affected by the law, along with their families and a doctor who performed the affected procedures for minors. The plaintiffs alleged that the law was discriminatory and a violation of the Equal Protection clause. The Biden Administration also joined the suit, alleging that the law was discriminatory on the basis of sex. The judgement, written by Chief Justice John Roberts, upheld the constitutionality of the ban, noting that the relevant criteria for the law was not sex but the diagnosis and treatment of gender dysphoria. Roberts noted that even a transgender minor is eligible for puberty blockers if administered for precocious puberty rather than gender dysphoria treatment. Finally, the court held that the law satisfies the standards for a rational basis view, in light of the procedures’ permanent medical consequences, such as infertility, and the continued disagreements over the scientific status of transgender medical procedures. Roberts was joined by the five other conservative members of the court, with the three liberal justices dissenting.
