EXCLUSIVE: Chinese-Americans Accused Of Terrorism Were Anchor Babies For Illegal Parents

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man and a woman who entered the United States illegally three decades ago were arrested by the Department of Homeland Security after their children brought an explosive device to a military base, The Daily Wire can first report. Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng illegally entered the United States in the ’90s, were denied asylum, but remained in the country for several decades, The Daily Wire has learned. They had two children as they illegally resided in the country — Ann Mary Zheng and Alen Zheng. Last week, the Department of Justice charged 27-year-old Ann Zheng with her part in attempting to explode an IED at MacDill Air Force Base Visitor’s Center in Tampa.  She was arrested as she returned to the United States from China, where authorities believe her brother remains. DHS arrested the duo’s parents on March 18 for illegal entry. Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng remain in ICE custody. They had applied for asylum in 1993 but their applications were denied by an immigration judge, who ordered their removal from the U.S. in 1998. DHS says that the Board of Immigration Appeals repeatedly denied their attempts to have their case reopened. Despite this, they remained in the United States for decades. The arrests come as the Supreme Court mulls President Donald Trump’s executive order banning birthright citizenship. “Automatically granting citizenship to children of illegal aliens born in the U.S. is based on a historically inaccurate interpretation of the Citizenship Clause and poses a major national security risk,” argued Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “That reality became apparent last week when two U.S.-born children of Chinese illegal aliens were indicted for planting a potentially deadly explosive device outside MacDill Air Force Base in Florida,” Bis explained. “This incident underscores the severe national security threat that illegal immigration and birthright citizenship pose to the United States.” Ann Mary Zheng, photo courtesy of DHS. DOJ said in a release that both Ann Zheng and her brother had “attempted to damage government property by fire or explosion” and that Ann Zheng helped her brother “in order to hinder and prevent his apprehension, trial, and punishment.” Ann Zheng is also charged with “corruptly altering, destroying, mutilating, and concealing a 2010 black Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 with the intent to impair its integrity and availability for use in the federal prosecution of Alen Zheng.”

Key Fund’s Demise Spells Even More Bad News For America’s Crumbling Roads

Warning signs are flashing for America’s already-decaying highway infrastructure as a key transportation fund quickly runs out of cash. The Highway Trust Fund (HTF), which funds roads, bridges, and public transit, is set to be exhausted by 2028, according to a letter authored by more than 100 policy experts and economists and sent to Congress. Complete List Of J. Cole Albums And Discography

Cole World: The Sideline Story, Cole’s major-label debut, landed on September 27, 2011, entering the Billboard 200 at number one with 218,000 copies sold in its opening week. Singles from the project included “Work Out,” “Can’t Get Enough” featuring Trey Songz, and “Nobody’s Perfect” featuring Missy Elliott. His sophomore effort, Born Sinner, came in June 2013 and moved 297,000 copies in its first week, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200, edged out by Kanye West’s Yeezus, a release Cole had deliberately scheduled his album against. Betsy Weiss Of Bitch: The ClassicRockHistory.com Interview

Rock and metal have long been perceived as a boys’ club, but Betsy Weiss never cared. Legends like Suzi Quatro, Doro Pesch, and Lita Ford get a ton of credit for paving the way, but leaving Betsy out of that conversation would be a mistake. With her band Bitch, Weiss is, and always will be, a fire-breathing demon. It’s why Brian Slagel made Bitch Metal Blade Records’ flagship band, and why Weiss endures in 2026. It’s with this in mind that Weiss beamed in with ClassicRockHistory.com to look back on one hell of a career. The Catholic Faith Is Booming

Religion is not dead in America. It is seeing a resurgence, particularly in the Catholic faith. The Catholic Church in the United States is experiencing significant growth in new members in 2026. According to data from Hallow—the world’s largest prayer app—the average diocese is seeing a 38% growth in new members entering the church this Easter compared with 2025 numbers. This data was taken from 140 of 175 dioceses across the United States. Hallow created an interactive map (below) to view the data by diocese. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process for catechumens and candidates—those seeking to become members of the Catholic faith—to enter the church. Hallow received data from OCIA programs nationwide to consolidate information regarding this growth in faith. The largest dioceses in the country experienced substantial growth. These include the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (139%), the Diocese of Phoenix (23%), the Archdiocese of New York (36%) and the Archdiocese of Chicago (52%). The Archdiocese of Los Angeles alone is welcoming 8,000 people into the Church. Prayer App’s Expanding Reach Hallow does not take credit for impacting these numbers, but its influence may be a factor. The prayer app launched in 2018 by Alex Jones. It hosts more than 10,000 audio-guided prayer sessions, and its goal is clear: to bring people into a deeper relationship with God by helping them build a daily prayer life. The app recently surpassed 1 billion prayers completed in more than 150 countries. That impact led to Hallow’s founders being awarded the 2026 Christifideles Laici Award at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in March. Was an honor to receive the Christifideles Laici award today on behalf of the @HallowApp team at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast. All glory and honor and praise to Jesus Christ. In case anyone’s interested – here’s the speech I gave: Wow thank you all for this… pic.twitter.com/hVYAr2h0sM— Alex at Hallow (@alexathallow) March 19, 2026 The effect of Hallow, along with other cultural factors and a changing spiritual landscape, has tilled the soil for renewed openness to faith. People appear increasingly willing to acknowledge their need for God and to explore the person of Jesus Christ. In a world marked by confusion, suffering, and distress, Catholicism offers a remedy: Jesus Christ. Easter, Prayer, and Renewed Hope Curiosity can become the seed of a deep relationship with Christ. Merriam-Webster defines curious as “marked by a desire to investigate and learn.” Those who are interested in learning more about Jesus often choose to pray more, read Scripture or study His teachings. When they do, they discover that He is unlike any person who has ever lived—not only because He performed miracles or delivered profound sermons, but because He rose from the dead and is alive today. The empty tomb is the setting for a personal encounter with the living Christ. For this reason, prayer and Easter are inseparable. Prayer is communion with the living God who conquered death. A daily commitment to prayer is essential not only to begin a relationship with Jesus but to sustain it. As Easter approaches, the rising interest in the Catholic faith offers hope and encouragement. The growing number of converts should inspire believers to pursue a deeper and more consistent life of prayer. In these holiest days of the year, Easter reminds us that faith does not disappoint. Christ is alive, and nothing is more important than knowing Him, loving Him and serving Him. The post The Catholic Faith Is Booming appeared first on The Daily Signal.

California’s Think-Alike Dems Cancel Gubernatorial Debate Over ‘Lack of Diversity’

The University of Southern California canceled its gubernatorial debate 24 hours before it was to start. Why? The six candidates who qualified under polling and fundraising metrics were—gasp!—all white. Democrat candidates of color immediately accused USC of excluding “candidates of color.” Mind you, their platforms—on housing, crime, homelessness, taxes, etc.—are virtually indistinguishable. Is there a difference between a black, Hispanic, or Asian American candidate who wants to raise taxes on the rich versus a white candidate who wants to do the same thing? Is there a difference between a black, Hispanic, or Asian American candidate who trashes President Donald Trump versus a white candidate who does it? The Democrats’ obsession with race ignores the overwhelming evidence that race is a non-factor in contemporary America. The left-wing Brookings Institution’s new report, “Interracial Cooperation in the United States,” found that 90% of respondents called race a non-factor in their business decisions and 83% said likewise when it came to choosing friends. But California Democrat gubernatorial candidates believe voters want candidates who look like them. But when minority politicians stray from the issues deemed important by the Left, watch out below. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., in 2019, said, “We don’t need any more black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice.” So much for President Barack Obama’s 2016 Howard University commencement address, where he said, “There’s no one way to be black.” When I ran in California’s 2021 gubernatorial recall election, Los Angeles Times columnist Erika D. Smith, a black woman, called me “the black face of white supremacy,” presumably for believing racism is no longer a major issue, for opposing race-based policies, for supporting lower taxes and less regulation, and for embracing strong families and personal responsibility. I say “presumably” because she declined my invitation to come on my radio show to explain the slur she used. As for race being no longer a major issue, this requires qualification. It very much still is for the Left. The Los Angeles Times’ Smith called the election of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass “a big deal” because Bass is black and female, a first for the city. Bass wrote, “Representation matters.” Had I been elected governor, I would have been the first black governor in state history. But for Smith, it was NOT a big deal. A few years ago, a leaked audio clip captured three Hispanic Los Angeles City Council members and a Hispanic labor leader making vile remarks about the black adopted son of a gay white Los Angeles council member. One called the child “a little monkey” who needed a “beatdown.” They made antisemitic and homophobic comments while plotting ways to redistrict the city to dilute black political power in favor of more political power for Hispanics. This sounded like a KKK meeting. As usual, these Democrats, as well as the Democrat gubernatorial candidates, say nothing about America’s most consequential domestic issue: the epidemic of children born without a father in the home married to the mother. This breakdown, particularly acute in the black community, drives poverty, school failure, and crime far more powerfully than the racial grievances these politicians complain about. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data show roughly 70% of black children are born to unmarried mothers, compared to about 54% for Hispanics, 27% for non-Hispanic whites, and 12% for Asians. Overall, 40% of U.S. births in 2023 were outside of marriage. Children raised without a married father in the home are far more likely to live in poverty. They face significantly higher risks of dropping out of high school and committing crime. Father absence predicts these outcomes better than race or income alone. Yet Democrats, who control most urban policies, rarely talk about broken or nonexistent family structure. Democrats have run major urban school districts for generations. On the National Assessment of Educational Progress, black eighth-graders consistently post proficiency rates in the low teens for both math and reading. The Democratic Party opposes school choice while the politicians place their own children in private schools. But Democrats focus their energy on matters like debates that lack minority candidates, even though they think the same as white candidates. The children caught in the “diversity” crossfire deserve far better. COPYRIGHT 2026 CREATORS.COM We publish a variety of perspectives. Quiet Strength: How Ordinary People Become Leaders In Hard Times

Tax-exempt hospitals are not putting their patients first

There is something seriously wrong with American health care. Rising costs mean that Americans now pay nearly twice as much as people in similar countries, without getting better outcomes. “It’s complicated,” say those who want to keep prices high and rising. But some of it is simple, as my organization is showing with research on hospital systems like Cleveland Clinic.Hospital executives are leading luxurious lifestyles while claiming that every dollar spent — on television commercials, Abu Dhabi real estate, or modern art — is 'health care.'A longtime household name, Cleveland Clinic presents itself as an altruistic institution focused on health and patients. As a tax-exempt corporation, everything Cleveland Clinic does is subsidized by taxpayers, and it receives many other direct and indirect benefits in the interest of public health. Yet it pays executives millions, has massive holdings overseas, and maintains a collection of fine art.Why are your health care bills and insurance premiums going up? Why is government spending and borrowing more and more to subsidize care? Look no farther than the misplaced priorities of profit-maximizing “nonprofit” hospitals like Cleveland Clinic.Recent news has exposed massive waste and fraud against taxpayers in places like Minnesota, California, and Washington state. Yet the problem is deeper and more systemic. Rooting out actual theft is essential. So is confronting waste and abuse, especially within large health care institutions.Last month, Save Our States launched a campaign calling out a massive hospital system run by the University of Miami. While its transplant center was failing, hospital executives were focused on building a lavish new lobby and expanding into Abu Dhabi. Our new exposé on Cleveland Clinic found surprisingly similar luxury expenses. It has an in-house art museum, for example, boasting a "world-renowned collection" of nearly 7,000 pieces of contemporary art. Like many hospitals, it spares no expense on public relations and advertising — Cleveland Clinic even ran its own Super Bowl ad.The clinic pays millions in executive salaries. Those executives are planning a massive new sports center with the Cleveland Cavaliers, to go along with their fancy foreign facilities in places like London, Toronto, and — once again — Abu Dhabi. How do these expenses benefit American patients? And why should taxpayers subsidize any of it?Some medical providers do pay taxes. A doctor with an independent practice gets taxed like any other business. But sell that practice to a tax-exempt hospital, even one with billions in revenue, and suddenly it becomes tax-exempt. At the same time, hospital-owned practices often start adding “hospital facility fees” on top of regular bills. They charge patients more for the same services, then pay less in taxes. No wonder massive hospital systems buy up smaller practices and facilities. These are policy choices, not market forces, driving consolidation in health care. The result is lower quality, higher prices, and misplaced priorities.RELATED: America has a spending problem Congress refuses to fix DNY59/Getty ImagesFor many Americans, the rising prices go first to their insurance, later showing up in rising premiums and lower take-home pay. And all Americans see the cost in taxes. Everyone pays somehow, in higher costs, less access to care, or both.Meanwhile, hospital executives are leading luxurious lifestyles while claiming that every dollar spent — on television commercials, Abu Dhabi real estate, or modern art — is “health care.”During its spending spree, Cleveland Clinic has faced allegations of deceptive billing, accusations of overcharging patients, reports of underpaying nurses, and stories of medical debt lawsuits brought against its own patients. Our new site, ClevelandClinicBetrayedPatients.com, documents the misplaced priorities of this massive, taxpayer-supported hospital system.Given that Cleveland Clinic is in Vice President JD Vance's home state of Ohio, hopefully he can make it a focus of his new appointment by President Trump to lead the “war on fraud.” The vice president and congressional leaders need to scrutinize spending at all subsidized hospitals — starting with the biggest. The question is not: “Does it do some good somewhere?” One good program does not justify waste elsewhere. The question is: “Are any taxpayer dollars subsidizing waste, abuse, or unnecessary extravagance?”Americans need health systems that respect taxpayers and put patients first. More than anything, we need the kind of competition that creates accountability, demands transparency, fosters innovation, and produces better services at lower prices.

Mamdani claims NYC is broke as his office reportedly plans to blow $10 million to hire woke activists

New York City's democratic socialist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, is reportedly preparing to hire a slew of additional staffers who could cost taxpayers $10 million, after previously claiming the city was facing a critical budget deficit. The New York Post reported Wednesday that Mamdani plans to hire at least 79 more workers to support his "pet projects."'Taxpayers who are already struggling should not be bankrolling useless woke jobs for socialists who can't get real jobs in the real world.'One of those positions includes a senior adviser for enforcement in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Justice. This individual would be responsible for "establishing policy vision and direction related to Enforcement" and is expected to "manage and coordinate across the assigned agencies, offices, and boards." The job posting describes the department as advancing "policies that promote a more equitable and vibrant New York City." The candidate could earn up to $200,000 annually.Mamdani is also seeking to hire two temporary World Cup managers to help "lead the planning and delivery of inclusive, community-based public programming." The salaries listed for both positions, a director of NYC World Cup Activations and a project manager for NYC World Cup programming, are over $100,000. Additionally, the mayor's office is seeking an adviser for legislative advocacy, with a salary of up to $155,000.Mamdani has pledged to work toward rolling out so-called free universal child care to New York City parents. The city is currently hiring a senior project manager who could earn up to $150,000 a year to lead that initiative. RELATED: Socialist Mamdani rolls out costly ‘free’ child care program to NYC workers — after crying financial crisis Michael M. Santiago/Getty ImagesA senior adviser for fast and free buses, who could earn $180,000 a year, will have "latitude to exercise a wide degree of authority" for the "coordination, implementation, and successful completion of any projects related to the Fast and Free Buses."Last month, the Post reported that Mamdani's Office of Mass Engagement was seeking to fill over a dozen positions the news outlet described as "catered to activists." Those positions would reportedly cost taxpayers approximately $2 million. The Post estimated that if Mamdani's office filled all positions, the city's payroll would increase by 20% compared to the former Mayor Eric Adams' administration. RELATED: Mamdani made big promises to cut the budget — here's the embarrassing result so far Zohran Mamdani. Theodore Parisienne/New York Daily News/Tribune News Service/Getty Images"At best, he's hypocritically spending money we don't have on his supporters," a Democratic operative told the Post. "At worst, he is breaking the law by using taxpayer dollars for political benefit.""City Hall now needs to be super clear about why these hires are needed and how they're chosen," the individual added.A second Democratic insider told the Post, "Someone should remind the mayor that the city's budget is not like his daddy's credit card.""Taxpayers who are already struggling should not be bankrolling useless woke jobs for socialists who can't get real jobs in the real world," the second operative said.Mamdani previously claimed the city faced a $12 billion budget deficit after Adams left office. He has since stated that the deficit has been reduced to $5.4 billion. Adams has denied Mamdani's claims, insisting that he left over $8 billion in reserves.Mamdani's office did not respond to a request for comment.Like Blaze News?
