Bibi: Peace Not on the Table But Assassinating the Ayatollah Is

Prime Minister Netanyahu only wanted weapons and assistance with defense. That is no longer the case. He wants more now. He is also talking about killing the Ayatollah despite President Trump nixing the plan. Additionally, Iran is considering bringing the world into it by closing the Strait of Hormuz – if they can. States Must Work With ICE Or Lose Transportation Funding, Secretary Says

States that do not cooperate with federal immigration enforcement will lose funding from the Department of Transportation, Secretary Sean Duffy announced. “The USDOT will NOT fund rogue state actors who refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement,” Duffy said. The policy also applies to cities that do not protect infrastructure from rioters. “And to cities that stand by while rioters destroy transportation infrastructure — don’t expect a red cent either. Follow the law, or forfeit the funding.” The @USDOT will NOT fund rogue state actors who refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. And to cities that stand by while rioters destroy transportation infrastructure — don’t expect a red cent from DOT, either. Follow the law, or forfeit the funding. https://t.co/cCRi4ALT23 — Secretary Sean Duffy (@SecDuffy) June 16, 2025 The announcement comes after President Donald Trump recently ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers “to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History,” The Daily Wire reported. Trump said he directed his “entire Administration to put every resource possible behind” federal deportation efforts. Trump’s announcement specified Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, “where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside.” Anti-ICE riots have raged in Los Angeles for over a week, with protesters looting stores, burning Waymo robotaxis, and attacking federal officers. The riots led to Trump deploying the Marines and the National Guard to protect federal agents and buildings. In Seattle last week, masked protesters surrounded an ICE field office with ICE agents and detained illegal aliens inside, The Daily Wire reported. After agents successfully escaped with the detainees, the protesters attacked nearby police vehicles. A “No Kings” protest in Portland on Saturday also led to a riot at an ICE facility, where protesters threw fireworks, smoke grenades, and rocks at federal officers, The Daily Caller reported. Despite the violence, L.A. Democrat Mayor Karen Bass said she would “not put up with” Trump deploying the National Guard to Los Angeles. “I’m with more than 20 state and federal elected officials, and together, we are here to say we will NOT put up with what the administration is doing,” said Bass. “Enough is enough. Stop the raids.” Bass also said Trump’s recent ICE announcement was “manufacturing a crisis.” “Make no mistake: this is illegal, divisive, and flies in the face of everything we stand for in Los Angeles,” she said. Trump said the federal government will “reverse the tide of Mass Destruction Migration.” “Our Federal Government will continue to be focused on the REMIGRATION of Aliens to the places from where they came, and preventing the admission of ANYONE who undermines the domestic tranquility of the United States,” Trump said.

Donald Trump Is America First

President Trump’s strategy regarding Iran has been remarkable. The President of the United States has — with no use of American military personnel — devastated the Iranian nuclear resources to the point that Iran is begging the Americans to come to the table now. Trump has said that all options are still on the table. It may be that if the Iranian nuclear site Fordow is still in operation a couple of weeks from now or a week from now, and the Iranians will not come to the table, there may be one B-2 sortie in Fordow — with no capacity for Iran to fire back because Israel has already destroyed all of the ballistic missiles that would be aimed at any place that threatens Americans. The danger is that if Iran retains the nuclear fuel it has already enriched, as well as the centrifuges to enrich more, the country could sprint to make a bomb. This is where the United States comes in. Israel lacks the deep penetrating bombs and the heavy bombers to deliver them that could do more damage to buried sites such as Fordow. President Trump endorsed the initial Israeli attacks, but he continues to suggest the bombing could increase the chances of negotiating a deal to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program. Meanwhile, President Trump is using the Israelis as the bad cop while he is the good cop. He is saying to the Iranians that the Israelis are doing what they’re going to do, and we don’t control them. They’re their own country. They can do what they’re doing, and you can continue to weather that as best you can. But, he’s saying, at a certain point, if this continues and you won’t give up Fordow, there might be a B-2 headed your way. Or maybe we’ll find some other way with Israel. Maybe Israel will do it on its own. We just don’t know what’s going to happen next. President Trump has played this absolutely brilliantly. If you had told people, just a few years ago, that Iran’s nuclear regime would be on the precipice of collapse with zero regional fallout — zero — and the United States would not have expended a single offensive missile in that effort, people would have thought that that was genius level stuff. You know why? Because it is genius level stuff. WATCH: The Ben Shapiro Show Meanwhile, there are people on the Right who have now declared that they are the leaders of MAGA, not Donald Trump, that they are the great leaders of America First and MAGA. Tucker Carlson put out a statement on Friday in his newsletter, in which he stated that President Trump was “complicit in the act of war.” The newsletter was dramatically titled, “This Could Be the Final Newsletter Before All-Out War,” suggesting World War III could break out as a result of the Israel-Iran war. He wrote: While the American military may not have physically perpetrated the assault, years of funding and sending weapons to Israel, which Donald Trump just bragged about on Truth Social, undeniably place the U.S. at the center of last night’s events. Washington knew these attacks would happen. They aided Israel in carrying them out. Politicians purporting to be America First can’t now credibly turn around and say they had nothing to do with it. Our country is in deep. While Donald Trump has been speaking about America First, only Tucker Carlson, who tours Moscow supermarkets to talk about how good the bread is and how he wishes that our subway system ran just like Moscow’s; only Tucker Carlson, who does interviews with the leadership of Qatar and talks about how they are an amazing ally to the United States while they simultaneously support Hamas; only Tucker Carlson, who hosts people like Darryl Cooper, whom he calls the “greatest and most honest historian in America” — the same guy who over the weekend suggested that America should launch missiles against Tel Aviv — only Tucker Carlson is truly America first, not Donald Trump. Not Donald Trump, who built the America First movement, who built MAGA; only Tucker Carlson and his friends are truly MAGA in America First. Over the weekend, Carlson doubled down, claiming: The real divide isn’t between people who support Israel and people who support around the Palestinians. The real divide is between those who casually encourage violence and those who seek to prevent it. Between warmongers and peacemakers. This is Tucker’s shtick: that anyone who opposes him is a warmonger who wants more war, who just loves war. Okay. Who are the people who love and desperately want war? He says: Who are the warmongers? They would include anyone who’s calling Donald Trump today to demand air strikes and other direct U.S. military involvement in a war with Iran. On that list: Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rupert Murdoch, Ike Perlmutter and Miriam Adelson. At some point they will all have to answer for this, but you should know their names now. First of all, I’m not aware that any of those people are directly calling Donald Trump and saying that he must directly intervene in this current conflict. Second of all, he is suggesting that you’re a warmonger if you want the Iranian nuclear program to end. So I guess Donald Trump is a warmonger because Donald Trump wants the nuclear program to end. And you know who said Trump wants the nuclear program to end? Donald Trump. You know who the actual leader of MAGA is? Donald Trump. He created MAGA. It is Donald Trump who created the America First movement. It is not Tucker Carlson, and it is not Marjorie Taylor Greene, who similarly put out a tweet saying: Everyone is finding out who are the real America First MAGA and who are fake and just said it bc it was popular. … Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA. So Donald Trump is not the real America First MAGA. Only Marjorie Taylor Greene, an obscure congresswoman from Georgia until Donald Trump tapped her on the head, is the real America First MAGA. By the way, who are the people who are slobbering for the U.S. to become “fully involved?” No one has called for a ground invasion of Iran. No one has suggested that the United States ought to be fully involved in a gigantic takeover of Iran in regime rebuilding. No one is calling for that. Even if you are calling for a single airstrike on Fordow, you know what that looks like? It looks like a single airstrike on Qasem Soleimani, which President Trump did in 2020 and was ripped by people like Tucker Carlson, who said that it was going to turn into a regional war. Here’s my big question for folks like Tucker, when he suggests that there are these people who are calling Donald Trump and demanding he do things they want: Whom does he think is the decision-maker? The decision maker in the White House is Donald J. Trump. Donald Trump has taken the same position on the Iranian nuclear program since the first minute he came down the golden escalator. He has not changed one iota.  What a low opinion Tucker Carlson must have of Donald Trump’s capacities. He thinks that he can manipulate him from the outside, or that others are manipulating him in that particular way. President Trump fired back at all of this over the weekend. In an interview with The Atlantic, he responded to Carlson and others of his ilk, saying bluntly, “Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that. For those people who say they want peace—you can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don’t want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon—that’s not peace.”  The same people who are attacking Trump have predicted that BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) are going to get involved in this in some form or fashion. President Trump is not one of those people because he’s not a stupid person. Nothing has changed with Trump; he has been absolutely consistent on this issue. As all the isolationists are horseshoeing around and having fun, happy times with all of their friends on the Left retweeting each other, you should take note of who these people are and what they actually believe about the President of the United States, about America First, and about MAGA. Not to mention their complete acquiescence to the idea that a nuclear Iran would be fine for the world: an asinine notion rejected by anyone with half a brain.

Trump Says Tehran Wants To ‘Talk’ About Ceasefire After Pummeling From Israel

President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran wants to “talk” about a deescalation with Israel after suffering days of bombardment. Trump is attending the Group of Seven summit in Canada this week and confirmed to reporters that he has seen messages passed from Iran through intermediaries that Tehran wants to pause hostilities between itself and Israel, according to CBS News. The president said that Iran “should have done that before” Israel began its attack. “They’d like to talk, but they should have done that before,” said Trump. “I had 60 days, and they had 60 days. On the 61st day, I said, ‘We don’t have a deal.’ They have to make a deal, and it’s painful for both parties. But I’d say Iran is not winning this war, and they should talk, and they should talk immediately, before it’s too late.” Tehran has expressed a willingness to negotiate to end hostilities, reaching out to Israel and the United States through intermediaries, The Wall Street Journal reported earlier Monday. World leaders at the G7 Summit were floated a draft statement on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Among other items, the statement endorses a ceasefire between Iran and Israel and calls for both sides to protect civilians. Trump does not plan to sign the statement, according to CBS. Iran’s willingness to talk comes as Israel continues targeted strikes against Iranian military personnel, ballistic missile launchers and stockpiles, nuclear refinement facilities, and other key sites. On Monday, Israel targeted Iran’s state-run broadcaster, which Israel said provided cover for the Iranian regime. Iran has responded with missile and drone barrages. Most of the ordinance has been intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome, but some explosives have passed through and hit population centers such as Tel Aviv and Haifa. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined Israel’s successes so far in the four-day blitz of Iran’s most important sites. “So far, we’ve killed 10” senior nuclear scientists, said the prime minister, according to The Times Of Israel. “Our arm is still outstretched. There are a few; we will get to them.” Netanyahu also said that Israel had delivered “an extremely severe strike” to Iran’s uranium enrichment facility in Natanz. “We are continuing to destroy nuclear targets systematically,” he added. “We eliminated Iran’s security leadership, including three chiefs of staff,” he said. “We are eliminating them one by one.” He also noted that Israel continues to strike and degrade Iran’s ballistic missile capacity and Tehran’s ability to hit Israel.

Boy George Calls JK Rowling A Bully, And It Backfires Immediately

Performer Boy George lashed out at author JK Rowling, calling her a “rich, bored bully” over a comment she made on X, and it backfired immediately. The exchange began with Rowling, who asked a simple question: “Which rights have been taken away from trans people?” Someone responded to her, referring to her as a Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist (TERF) and saying, “The freedom to live without constant persecution, which you and your TERFarmy have taken from them.” Rowling was not buying that, and replied, “When ‘persecution’ is redefined to mean ‘not being allowed to reorganise society based on unfalsifiable feelings, to compel everyone else’s speech and belief and to take rights away from other protected groups’ you’ll be absolutely right.” When ‘persecution’ is redefined to mean ‘not being allowed to reorganise society based on unfalsifiable feelings, to compel everyone else’s speech and belief and to take rights away from other protected groups’ you’ll be absolutely right. pic.twitter.com/bONhJRALyb — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 13, 2025 That was when Boy George weighed in, scolding Rowling: “The right to be left alone by a rich bored bully!” The right to be left alone by a rich bored bully! https://t.co/vTNdexD9Uk — Boy George (@BoyGeorge) June 14, 2025 The “Harry Potter” author availed herself then of the opportunity to explain her point further, telling the musician, “There are many differences between us, George, but some are particularly relevant to this debate. 1. You’re a man and I’m a woman. 2. You’ve been wealthy and famous since your early 20s. I didn’t become well known until I was well over 30. 3. I’ve never been given 15 months for handcuffing a man to a wall and beating him with a chain. 4. I believe in freedom of speech and belief.” “For more than half my life I was a regular anonymous person,” Rowling continued. “Some of those years were spent in poverty. That’s why I understand the importance of single-sex spaces for women who’re reliant on state-funded services. That’s why I understand why mixed public changing rooms are a problem for women. That’s why I have a problem with men ‘identifying’ into women’s rape crisis centres, domestic abuse and homeless shelters that are supposed to be single-sex.” “I don’t stand against gender identity ideology because I personally still need those services, but because my life has taught me exactly how vulnerable women are when they don’t have the money/influence I have now,” she added. “You yourself have been convicted of violent assault. The overwhelming number of people who commit crimes of violence are male, just like you. That’s why I don’t want to see men identifying into women’s prison cells or any of the spaces mentioned above. Not all men are violent or predatory, but enough are to make safeguarding necessary.” Rowling concluded with a jab at the artist’s public persona – which was always rooted in individuality and freedom of expression — and argued that he was caving to the crowd by taking the position he had on gender ideology. “Lastly, I’m a writer who believes in freedom of speech and belief. As we both know, the safe, fashionable thing in the arts world right now is to do exactly what you’re doing: parrot TWAW and sneer at the unenlightened plebs who think sex is important and matters. For a man who was once all about non-conformity, George, you couldn’t have become more predictably or more tediously conformist,” she said.

The ‘No Kings’ Protests Were A Disaster

The ‘No Kings’ Protests Were A Disaster

If you were working for some shadowy Left-wing nonprofit that receives large amounts of taxpayer money from untraceable sources, and you had to come up with a slogan to capture the imagination of the modern Left and kickstart a wave of national protests to undermine the Trump administration, it’s a safe bet that the slogan “No Kings” wouldn’t occur to you. For one thing, it sounds like something out of the Revolutionary Era. It’s a few centuries too late. You half expect these people are going to start throwing boxes of tea into Boston Harbor. For another, the slogan doesn’t remotely capture what Democrats claim to be upset about. They’re not worried about the revival of the monarchy. They don’t think we’re suddenly about to transform into Cambodia or, even worse, into Canada. They’d prefer that outcome, actually. These people crave authoritarianism, as we saw during the COVID lockdowns, the multiple criminal prosecutions that were brought against the leading presidential candidate, the mass-censorship and surveillance they endorsed, and so on. In reality, they’re angry that we’ve adopted a system of government that has ensured we haven’t had a king for hundreds of years. They’re furious that this constitutional republic has produced a president they don’t like, who’s enforcing laws they find inconvenient. That’s what they’re actually rebelling against: the republic itself. And yet, over the weekend, “No Kings” protests were held throughout the country. And at various points, as we’ll discuss, they turned violent. But first, from a strategic perspective, there are two elements of these riots that are worth talking about. The first is that, as we’ve discussed before, the Left has been searching for an excuse to riot ever since Donald Trump won the election. They’ve been looking to replace their BLM messaging with something else. And now they’ve found it. They don’t care that the messaging makes no sense. They’re just happy they have an excuse to cause civil disturbance. The second important thing to keep in mind here is that these riots illustrate a growing divide among Democrats. And this is a divide that’s going to become very hard to reconcile going forward. On the one hand, you have young people who want to transform this country at a fundamental level (putting it mildly). On the other, you have Democrats who came of age during the administration of Lyndon Johnson or Gerald Ford. These are people who, 20 years ago, were voting for Democrats like Bill Clinton — candidates who promised — dishonestly, perhaps, but they did promise — to secure the border, minimize abortion, uphold the meaning of marriage, and balance the budget. Today, these same Democrats have stuck around, remaining loyal voters, even as their party has radically changed its priorities. The most notable characteristic that these older voters share is that, thanks largely to the corporate press, they’re extraordinarily confused. In their earlier years, they came to trust the media as a relatively fair and nonpartisan source of information. And now that the corporate media is telling them that Trump is Hitler, they believe it, without any hesitation. Here’s just one example from this weekend’s “No King” protests: As pathetic as this to watch, it’s hard to look at someone like this and conclude that she wants to destroy the United States by replacing its native population and suspending law enforcement. Instead, she’s been convinced that Trump is something he’s not. She’s been persuaded that he wants to crown himself a king, or worse. Many voters who are past retirement age — something like 60 million people — fall into this category. That’s the demographic that the “No Kings” branding is really meant to appeal to. And on that count, the branding was arguably a success. Most of the people who showed up to these demonstrations were between the ages of 50 and 75. To give another example, here’s one scene from the Beverly Hills “No Kings” protest the other day. An old man stops by a “Trump Induced Anxiety Help” stand, and proceeds to verbally berate and physically abuse an effigy of Donald Trump. And as he slams the doll’s head into a stool, his satisfaction becomes more and more evident. Watch this, if you can bear the cringe:   Truly, I have never seen someone so valiantly stand up against a doll. The human characters in the “Chucky” films never showed an ounce of this courage and resolve. If they had, the movies would have been a lot shorter. The most fascinating thing about a clip like that is to observe the nexus between corny and crazy. Prior to the modern Democratic Party, I didn’t think it was really possible for a person to be both corny and crazy. Those seem like either/or personality types. But these people are somehow extremely, painfully corny, and also clearly insane, all at the same time. In any event, as insane as some elderly people behaved at these demonstrations, none of them were particularly threatening. Instead, they put on a very confusing display, more than anything else.   In places like Pittsburgh and Fredericksburg, which you’re seeing on the screen now, attendees were generally middle-aged or older. They spent most of their time milling about, holding some signs and looking disinterested. This was not a young person’s protest. Like the “Tesla takedown” riots — which were organized, coincidentally enough, by the same exact Left-wing nonprofits — the “No Kings” events were intended to appeal to a faction of the Democrat Party that still pretends to care about the rule of law, our constitutional system of government, and so on. They’ve just been duped into thinking that the Democrat Party is also interested in any of that. WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show Put aside the fact that nonprofits should not be able to organize protests like this in the first place. They’re supposed to be non-political, but they’re clearly organizing political rallies. What’s important to recognize here is that, throughout the “No Kings” rallies over the weekend, the older voters in the Democrat Party came face-to-face with younger Democrats. And unlike the older generation, younger Democrats do not pretend to care about “kings.” They aren’t shaking uncontrollably because MSNBC told them Donald Trump will end our democracy or whatever. They’re simply intent on securing power for themselves and their preferred demographic groups. This is the dichotomy that now defines the Democrats. The party is a coalition that’s made up of two completely incompatible ideologies. One the one hand, you have older Democrats who have been conned into thinking that Donald Trump represents a threat to the rule of law. And then you have younger Democrats — the future generation of the party — who explicitly oppose the existence of the rule of law. They want to bring about chaos at every opportunity. And over the weekend, that’s exactly what they did. In Salt Lake City for example, the “No Kings” rally erupted into mayhem and violence. Here’s what that looked like:   As tragic as this incident was, you can tell that, on the bright side, at least some people involved in this protest finally got some exercise. So there’s that. There’s gunfire, and then there’s a lot of running. This is the kind of thing that didn’t happen at the tea party rallies back in the day, but it’s commonplace whenever there’s a mass gathering on the Left. So how did they spin this one, you might ask? Well, here’s a report from the local news station, KUTV. “Bystander unintentionally killed by alleged peacekeeper at Salt Lake ‘No Kings Day’ event.” Yes, an “alleged peacekeeper” at the No Kings rally “unintentionally killed” an innocent bystander. If you’re confused by that headline, you have good reason to be. For one thing, once you shoot an innocent person, it’s fair to say you’re not a “peacekeeper,” allegedly or otherwise. Secondly, why do political rallies need “peacekeepers,” exactly? It evokes images of United Nations peacekeeping forces patrolling in the third world. You’d think there’d be no need for vigilantes to roam around in major cities in this country — especially if your city has a police force to begin with. But as we all know, very few of these Democrat-run cities have functioning police forces anymore. Therefore, when violence erupted, a “peacekeeper” was on scene. And then the peacekeeper attempted to keep the peace, and he missed his target. So who was the peacekeeper shooting at, exactly? Apparently, the peacekeeper was trying to take down a man named Arturo Gamboa, who had just allegedly killed someone. As the Post Millennial reports: Arturo Gamboa, the man charged with murder after a deadly shooting at Salt Lake City’s ‘No Kings’ protest, appears to be a self-described anti-government radical who publicly supported Antifa, rejected the US electoral system, and once said justice should be taken ‘by any means necessary.’ This is the kind of messaging that the boomers chanting “No Kings,” and playing around with the Trump effigies, probably aren’t on board with. But it’s the default position among young Leftists in many parts of the country. That’s why Seattle, once again, descended into anarchy over the weekend. Watch:   Towards the end of that footage, you saw fireworks being shot at a federal building. They also tried to set the building on fire. But the police didn’t intervene, at any point. Of course, none of the people who pretended to care about January 6th have said a word about this. They also haven’t said a word about the fact that Cam Higby — a journalist whose footage we’ve played a few times on this show — was just assaulted in Seattle by Antifa militants. He received a concussion simply for reporting on what was happening. Again, the police didn’t intervene. Here’s a clip that Cam Higby, with Today is America, posted: ?ANTIFA just JUMPED ME. While SPD was refusing to intervene with the riot tonight, militant Tyler Hahn and his lackeys JUMPED ME. Dealing several blows to my head. I was able to deploy pepper spray and repel them, regaining the belongings they knocked out of my pockets. pic.twitter.com/gTsFtlIwDF — Cam Higby | America First ?? (@camhigby) June 15, 2025 CREDIT: Cam Higby with Today is America When Jim Acosta’s microphone was taken away in the White House eight years ago, as he ranted and raved at the president in a desperate bid for attention, there was universal outrage on the Left. There were court cases. They were crying on CNN. It was a year-long news cycle. But when Leftist militants beat an actual journalist on camera, no one says a word about it. The police certainly don’t intervene. Actually, I’ll correct that statement. At one point last night, the police in Seattle did attempt to contain the mob. They didn’t help Cam Higby, but they made some effort to shut down the rioting. But very quickly, they realized they were outnumbered. And instead of using force to quell the mob — which they obviously should have done — they ran away. Watch:   As always, the absence of police involvement — and the cowardice of Democrats commanding these departments — is endangering people’s lives. To give just one more example — in Riverside over the weekend, rioters began attacking a car. The driver tried to escape, so the mob tried to kill him. And now the driver is being investigated. Watch:   Again, no young person thinks this is a protest for “No Kings” or whatever. This is a riot that’s intended to destabilize the country. To the extent that Democrats have tried to argue otherwise, it hasn’t been convincing. Here are two videos. The first is from Dallas, where a bunch of women brought out “The Handmaid’s Tale” costumes, which they keep for occasions such as this. And perhaps for their own personal use. We won’t speculate about what that might involve. They also have a sign that reads, “We the people were not meant to kneel.” The second video is Cory Booker, using the same kind of language in a particularly painful attempt to grandstand:   This is obviously the prepared talking point they’re going with. Everyone from Cory Booker to the women who like dressing up as sex slaves — for reasons that Freud could only guess — is saying that Donald Trump is forcing people to “kneel” before him. Nevermind the fact that Alex Padilla charged towards the DHS secretary while she was speaking and deliberately provoked the Secret Service. That’s not important. What matters, according to Booker and the women wearing the costumes, is that Donald Trump wants everyone to “kneel” before him. One of the reasons why it’s so easy to see through this messaging — aside from the fact that it’s transparently phony — is that we were all alive five years ago. And because we were alive five years ago, it’s very striking that the “No Kings” crew has only now discovered their aversion to authoritarian rule. Kayla Bartkowski/Getty Images These were the same people applauding when we were locked in our homes, forced to wear muzzles on our faces and inject experimental drugs into our bodies. And when I say “the same people,” I mean the same exact people. One of the leaders of these “No Kings” rallies over the weekend was Randi Weingarten. She’s the head of the teachers’ unions who made sure that children couldn’t attend school during the COVID lockdowns. And now, with a straight face, she’s telling you that she’s terribly afraid of an authoritarian holding power. The irony is overwhelming. Indeed, if you were to make a Venn diagram of the people who cheered the lockdowns and the people who are now chanting “no kings,” the Venn diagram would just be a circle. They’re all the same people. People who of course also had nothing to say when the previous regime imprisoned its critics for posting memes and tried to throw a former president in jail. Now suddenly they’re concerned about “fascism.” And at the same time, ironically, they’re accusing Trump of being a weakling who always chickens out. This is messaging that — being charitable — is hypocritical, confusing, contrived, unintelligible, and completely hollow. The BLM race hysteria was built on a lie — one of the most damaging lies told in modern times — but at least it was internally consistent. Democrats claimed, in defiance of reality, that police officers were going around abusing black people. As a statement, it’s obviously false. But as a call to action, it was effective. What we’re seeing now is different. With the “No Kings” rally, Democrats are simultaneously demanding that voters ignore their own very recent authoritarian behavior, while also imagining that the current administration is trying to enact a monarchy because they’re enforcing immigration law. It’s no surprise that the only people who buy into this narrative are elderly and very confused. They’re the kind of people who would pay a nickel to beat up a Trump doll. That is the state of Democrat messaging at this point. At the same time, we have to recognize that, not too long from now, these old people will die. And then we’ll be left with everyone else — the rioters and the Left-wing NGOs who openly crave authoritarianism. That will be the only constituency of the Democrats within the next decade or so. By that point, “No Kings” won’t be the messaging. Instead, they will be demanding that you recognize their total and absolute authority over every aspect of your life. They’ll attempt to turn the entire country into Seattle, where Antifa militants can attack journalists and overpower the police. That’s what rule by Democrats will look like. And if there’s anything we can glean from this disaster of a protest this weekend, and all of the violence and mayhem left in its wake, it’s that these people don’t want you to bow to a king. Instead they want you to bow to them.
