You might say Lil Nas who? Lil Nas X, the singer of the hit song “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X, was spotted wandering the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear. Bystanders recorded Lil Nas X’s bizarre antics and filmed him placing an orange traffic cone on his head. The rapper was later subdued by the LAPD and taken to the hospital. TMZ was the first to report on Lil Nas X’s bizarre behavior: Lil Nas X is hospitalized after a bizarre scene in L.A. — he was strolling down the middle of a major street early Thursday morning, wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots!!! TMZ Hip Hop obtained video of the “Old Town Road” rapper nearly naked, and floating aimlessly down Ventura Blvd at 4 AM. Someone driving past him recorded Nas, who repeatedly pointed at the camera and muttered something about heading to a party — and at one point, he placed an orange traffic cone on his head. Our sources say others in the Studio City area noticed Lil Nas, and thought the whole thing was weird enough to report it to police. As it turns out, several people in the area had reported to LAPD that they saw a nude man walking in the road. We’re told officers responded and found him still walking down the middle of the road, and after Nas charged at officers … they subdued him and put him in handcuffs. Designed to entice fans of Lil Nas X’s newly released music video, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” the footwear also brilliantly baited conservative Christians. “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” has been interpreted by its Christian critics as a wholesale attack on Christianity and derided by one pastor in particular as a “bunch of devil-worshipping wicked nonsense.” Lil Nas X’s response has been to gleefully troll the haters, even urging condemning Christians to stay mad. On Twitter, the star noted that as a teenager anti-gay messaging taught him to hate himself. The anger conservatives are feeling now parallels “the same anger you teach us to have towards ourselves.”
