Floyd Cramer (October 27, 1933 – December 31, 1997) was an American pianist who became famous for his use of melodic "whole-step" attacks. He was inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Elon Musk: DoE Slush Fund Used to Rent Entire Sports Stadiums for Parties

Elon Musk talked to Jesse Watters about the shocking fraud DOGE uncovered. For example, the Department of Education had a $4 billion slush fund. No one tracked it, so it reached the point where they rented out sports stadiums for parties. So, DOGE requires receipts from the DoE employees when they spend money from the […] The post Elon Musk: DoE Slush Fund Used to Rent Entire Sports Stadiums for Parties appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

‘Let’s Do It’: CNN Pundit Asks ‘The Office’ Star For Tips On Breaking The Fourth Wall

CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings issued an invitation to “The Office” star John Krasinski during a Wednesday evening broadcast, saying that he’d been compared to Krasinski’s character Jim Halpert and suggesting that they get together and compare notes. Krasinski, as Halpert, garnered a reputation throughout the popular series’ run for repeatedly breaking the fourth wall — blurring the line between the performers and the audience — by looking straight at the camera when he reacted to the actions of his costars. Jennings, who often appears on “CNN NewsNight” with anchor Abby Phillip, has a habit of doing the same. On Wednesday’s show, Phillip strayed from the politics of the day and asked her panel about their dream “celebrity encounters” — and Jennings suggested a confab between himself and Krasinski. “It’s been suggested to me by the internet that I get some inspiration from Jim Halpert during my CNN appearances,” Jennings captioned the video clip he shared. “@johnkrasinski, I’m very coachable if you want to come on and show me how it’s done.” WATCH: pic.twitter.com/xDChxhyhpm — Scott Jennings (@ScottJenningsKY) May 2, 2025 Jennings noted that “The Office” was a favorite show of his, and suggested that perhaps he and Krasinski could get together and “discuss the correct way to look into a camera when something is happening that you think is wild. So anyway, John, if you want to come on someday we can discuss this, ah, let’s do it. It would be pretty funny.” Throughout his comments, Jennings paused from time to time to give an exaggerated look toward the camera — each time prompting laughs from around the table. “This is very good,” Phillip conceded. Vice President JD Vance also rated a Jim Halpert comparison during his debate with Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), as he often looked at the camera when reacting to the answers Walz was giving to the moderators’ questions. Al Roker’s Stepping Into Fancy New Shoes To Host The Met Gala

Al Roker has been a mainstay on the Today Show for almost three decades. He gives us our daily dose of weather, his signature smile, and sometimes silly antics. You can always count on all for things like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the annual Rose Parade. This year, he’ll step into some fancy new shoes to take on a totally different hosting gig. Al announced he’s headed for the Met Gala red carpet on Instagram. “Well, work has begun on getting ready for the Met Gala at the beautiful Metropolitan Museum of Art,” he shared on Instagram. “This year, I’m actually gonna be covering it on the red carpet, talking about ‘Superfine’ Black tailoring and dandyism.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Al Roker (@alroker) Al Roker Will Be Standing In For Sheinelle Jones At The Met Gala Sheinelle Jones typically covers the Met Gaga, but she’s been on extended personal leave since 2024. The Today Show is a tight-knit crew, and they care for each other like family. It’s no surprise Al Roker jumped at the chance to cover the Met Gala and help his friends. Al wrote in Instagram, “Very excited pinch hit for @sheinelle_o and cover the #redcarpet for the annual @metmuseum @metcostumeinstitute gala Never did it before. The theme and the exhibit is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style based on a book by Professor Monica L. Miller.” “The Met Gala is a night for stars to shine, and sometimes shock. Will Al dress for the occasion or take it all in? Fans can’t wait to see what happens,” a fan wrote. This person agreed and knows Al Roker will shine. “The theme is so perfect this year! I know you’ll enjoy it!! Almost as much and I’ll enjoy seeing you on the red carpet!!” This fan hopes that maybe Sheinelle Jones and Al Roker can take on the Met Gala together sometime. They shared, “Have fun! Maybe next year you and Sheinelle can do it?!” This story’s featured image is by Nathan Congleton/NBC via Getty Images.
