The Wisconsin judge who allegedly helped an illegal migrant evade U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) pleaded not guilty in a Wisconsin courtroom on Thursday. 

Rapper 50 Cent, a longtime rival of disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, is once again publicly trolling Diddy for his apparent baby oil obsession. Combs is currently on trial in New York City for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Details of his sex life have been revealed during the testimony of his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, including graphic details of the drug-fueled sex parties known as “freak offs.”  Ventura said Combs insisted she reapply baby oil every five minutes to appear “glistening,” as The Daily Wire previously reported. The rapper’s ex of 11 years also said Combs once made her get into an inflatable pool filled with baby oil. 50 Cent used that detail to create AI-generated images of Combs sitting in pools of baby oil. Just after Combs was arrested last year, his former friend shared on Instagram, “Here I am keeping good company with [The Drew Barrymore Show]. And I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.” This comment came after it was revealed that investigators uncovered more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant at Combs’ properties, which were allegedly used during the “freak offs.” Attorney Marc Agnifilo, a member of Combs’ legal team, first tried to downplay the number of baby oil bottles recovered, then attempted to justify his client having so many. “If these are genuinely threesomes, how do you explain the thousand bottles of baby oil?” TMZ founder Harvey Levin asked during the TMZ Studios documentary “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.” “I don’t know where the number of a thousand came…” Agnifilo answered, prompting Levin to quickly reply, “The U.S. attorney said it.” “I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything,” Diddy’s attorney said next. Levin mentioned how it’s being held up as evidence of the orgies that allegedly took place. Agnifilo said, “A little bit goes a long way” when it comes to lubricant. “I don’t know what you need 1,000 for,” the lawyer said. “He has a big house, he buys in bulk. You know, I think there are Costcos in every place where he has a home. I mean, have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and seen what people walk out of there with?” “Not 1,000 bottles of baby oil,” Levin responded. “I don’t think it was 1,000,” Agnilio said again. “Let’s just say it was a lot, OK?” Combs’ trial is expected to last eight weeks. If convicted of all charges, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., head of the Department of Health and Human Services, told lawmakers on Wednesday that he has requested the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) do a “complete review” of the abortion pill. The announcement was welcomed by pro-life conservatives, who previously wondered how RFK Jr., a former Democrat, would respond to abortion-related issues, having previously said that while he believes every abortion is a “tragedy,” the issue is “more nuanced and complex.” During Wednesday’s Senate committee hearing, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) asked RFK Jr. if he was aware of new data indicating that mifepristone is many times more dangerous than the FDA says on the label for the abortion pill, and he said he was. “It’s alarming,” RFK Jr. told Hawley. “Clearly, it indicates that at the very least the label should be changed,” he said. “I’ve asked Marty Makary, who’s the director of the FDA, to do a complete review and to report back.” RFK Jr. also said that he did not yet have a sense of the timeline of the review. This can include hemorrhaging, needing a blood transfusion, an emergency room visit, and even deadly conditions like sepsis. That is about 22 times higher than what the FDA listed on its label for the brand Mifeprex in 2023. The FDA cited clinical studies saying less than 0.5% of women suffered “serious adverse reactions” to mifepristone. Meanwhile, more than one in 20 women need a second abortion attempt after the abortion pill fails, another analysis of insurance claim data released this week showed. The two-pill chemical abortion regimen — mifepristone, usually followed by misoprostol — aims to end the life of the unborn baby and expel it from the woman’s uterus. However, the drugs sometimes fail to expel all the fetal tissue, which can cause life-threatening complications. A few months before Roe v. Wade was overturned, the FDA scrapped the requirement that women must obtain abortion pills in person from a healthcare provider, allowing them to get them online through the mail. “We applaud Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for his swift directive to FDA for a thorough study of the dangerous chemical abortion pill,” Doug Truax, founder of Foundation for the Restoration of America, which commissioned the “serious adverse event” analysis, told The Daily Wire. “The health and safety of women is at risk and we can’t allow ideology to trump science,” Truax said. Last year, Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro challenged Kennedy Jr. on abortion during an interview, telling him that abortion is “not just a tragedy. It’s a crime against the child because the child has an independent interest. What do you say to that?” “I say that I understand that position, and I don’t agree with it,” Kennedy responded, adding that he believes “the solution of having the state come in and dictate choices that a woman is making is not a good solution.” RFK Jr. appeared before both Senate and House committees on Wednesday to defend President Donald Trump’s proposed budget cuts to the HHS, which RFK Jr. said would be “painful” but would save money “without impacting critical services.”

A high-ranking Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) official confirmed that the hotline between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and the Pentagon became inoperable during the Biden administration in March 2022. On January 29, American Airlines Flight 5342, which had departed from Wichita, Kansas, with 60 passengers and four crew members on board, collided in midair near the airport with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter that had three people on board. Multiple American figure skaters and coaches returning from a training camp were on the flight. There were no survivors. An internal preliminary report from the FAA said that staffing at the tower was “not normal for the time of day and volume of traffic,” according to The New York Times. The newspaper said the controller who was dealing with helicopters around the airport was also instructing airplanes that were landing and departing, tasks which are typically assigned to multiple people. On Wednesday, Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz questioned Franklin McIntosh, the FAA Deputy COO of air traffic control, about proper procedures. “On April 25 for the first time since the January 28 mid-air collision, the army resumed flying in the national capital region,” Cruz noted. “Less than a week later, air traffic control had to command two commercial aircraft on final approach to abort their landing at DCA due to an Army Blackhawk on an apparent training mission at the Pentagon, having wandered far too close to the commercial aircraft flightpath.” “Shortly thereafter, and just 10 days after having resumed limited flight in the national capital region, the army aviation brigade, suspended operations in the DC area,” he continued. “I’ve been told that prior to the army aviation brigade’s decision to suspend operations on May 5, the FAA was preparing to suspend the letter of agreement between the army and the FAA that gives the army the ability to operate the DC air space without having to first ask for FAA clearance for each flight. Was the FAA prepared to suspend the letter of agreement, and if so, what was concerning enough to justify such a decision?” “We were extremely troubled by the incident that occurred, especially in light of DCA and the events that led up to the accident,” McIntosh admitted. “We were ready to deploy any option available that we could use or that we felt was necessary to bring safety measures and better behaviors from the DOD in this instance. … We were ready to do any option available to include what you just spoke to, which was removing the ability to fly.” “Just to be clear, does that mean the FAA did actually draft an order suspending the army’s ability to fly in the DC area?” Cruz asked. “I’m not 100% aware if we drafted an order, but we did have a discussion if that was an option that we wanted to pursue,” McIntosh replied. “I do know that the DOD came back and suspended operations on their own based on that event so we’re still working with DOD to improve that process.” “Is it true that the hotline, the direct line between the Pentagon air traffic control and the DCA tower, has been inoperable since March 2022?” Cruz asked. When McIntosh confirmed that the hotline indeed had been inoperable, Cruz continued, ‘Who maintains that hotline?” “I believe the DOD maintains that hotline but I think the next question would be why were we not aware of it and insist upon it being fixed? “ McIntosh replied. “We take safety responsibilities extremely seriously in the FAA and those were the questions we were asking and we were not aware, but we became aware after that event and now that we became aware of that event we are were insisting upon that line to be fixed before we resume any operations out of the Pentagon. “While army flights were ongoing, if the hotline was not operational, how did controllers communicate?” Cruz wanted to know. “We still have landline abilities; we can make phone calls from the helipad to the operation where the supervisor or the controller in charge can answer so we’re aware of the activity and if there was a departure clearance needed, we’d be able to relay it via that mechanism,” McIntosh answered. “Is it also true that the air traffic control positions for local traffic and helicopters were combined early just as they were on the day of the mid-air collision?” Cruz pressed. “Yes sir, it was,” McIntosh confirmed.
