The alumni association at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point has canceled an award ceremony honoring actor Tom Hanks, The Washington Post reports.  Hanks, 69, was to receive the Sylvanus Thayer Award, which honors an “outstanding citizen.” According to Forbes, retired Col. Mark Bieger told West Point faculty that the West Point Association of Graduates would no longer hold a ceremony to present Hanks with the award.  “Great to see @SecArmy holding the line for @realDonaldTrump to make our Military strong again. Eisenhower national memorial, among others, the alumni association stated. Specifically, curcumin improved VAS pain by −9.1 mm (95% CI, −17.8 to −0.4 mm; P = 0.039). Additionally, the curcumin group reported taking fewer pain medications than the placebo group, which is particularly noteworthy given the potential side effects of pain medications like ibuprofen, which can disrupt gut health. While curcumin did not significantly impact knee effusion–synovitis volume or cartilage composition, it did improve Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) knee pain (−47.2 mm [CI, −81.2 to −13.2 mm]; P = 0.006). This finding aligns with other studies that have demonstrated curcumin’s potential as a natural anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving agent. It happened around 10 p.m. near the light rail station along Camden Road where East Boulevard and West Boulevard meet in South End. Investigators say she was riding the Blue Line when Brown, who didn’t know her, stabbed her in the throat three times with a pocket knife. The two had no interaction before the stabbing, according to an affidavit. CATS confirmed Brown did not have a ticket to ride the train. There was also no security present in the exact car where the attack happened. … Brown has been charged with murder, and his attorney has filed a motion to have his competency evaluated. Brown was also arrested back in January and was charged with misusing 911. In July, a motion has been filed in that case to have his competence evaluated. Brown has 14 previous court cases in Mecklenburg County. He was sentenced to six years in North Carolina prison after convictions for robbery with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering, and larceny in Mecklenburg County in 2015. Second, you want to control any "influencers" in the population. In the past, influencers would be people like Hollywood actors, sports figures, celebrities, etc. Today, influencers are those people PLUS, well, "influencers" on social media. So to control the message and push your propaganda, you would need control over both of those groups. So you'd do things like buy up Newspapers, radio stations, TV stations, etc... Perhaps you'd even "pay off" some big time influencers...pay them to start spouting your Talking Points. But you wouldn't need total control. No, you wouldn't need to get everyone. Why? Because along the way you'd pick up people called "useful idiots". These are the people who are "influencers" and will just naturally buy into your propaganda once they hear it enough.
