iPadOS 18 supported devices: These are all compatible iPad models

With the announcement of iPadOS 18, Apple has also revealed the list of supported devices for this upcoming operating system. Expected to launch later this fall, around the time Cupertino unveils the iPhone 16, iPadOS 18 supports most of the already-released iPad models. With several AI features, thanks to Apple Intelligence, the company has also tweaked the Freeform app while adding many new features to a range of its built-in apps, such as Safari, Notes, Voice Memo, Calendar, and even adding the long-anticipated Calculator app. However, not every iPad supported by iPadOS 17 can be updated to iPadOS 18. That said, this is the list of iPadOS 18 supported devices: iPad Pro (2018) iPad Pro (2020) M1 iPad Pro M2 iPad Pro M4 iPad Pro iPad Air 3 iPad Air 4 M1 iPad Air M2 iPad Air iPad mini 5 iPad 7 iPad 8 iPad 9 iPad 10 With that, Apple ditched the second-gen iPad Pro, the first 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and the iPad 6. Even with the iPad 7 and iPad Air 3 still being supported, it doesn't mean they will get all the features, as several functions, such as Stage Manager, are already non-existent on these devices. In addition, the M4 iPad Pro is the best-performing iPad for this upcoming iPadOS 18 update. Alongside iPadOS 18, Apple has also previewed iOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2.0. Several features are coming to Apple users in the coming months, and BGR will bring all the latest details as Cupertino starts testing these new operating system updates. Besides that, the iPhone 16 is fast approaching. We expect Apple's newest phone to be announced by September. Until then, we'll keep bringing you the latest rumors, leaks, and news from Apple as we learn more about it. macOS 15 Sequoia supported devices: All compatible Mac, MacBook, and iMac models

With macOS Sequoia just announced, Apple has also revealed the list of supported devices for this upcoming operating system. Expected to launch later this fall, around the time Cupertino unveils the iPhone 16, macOS 15 continues to drop support for Intel Macs as Apple focuses on computers with its own chips. The new system adds an AI-focused experience and uses Apple Intelligence to power several of the built-in apps, such as Safari, Notes, Mail, Calendar, Siri, and more. That said, by adding these new experiences, not every Mac supported by macOS Sonoma will get macOS 15. This is the list of macOS Sequoia supported devices: 2019 iMac and later 2017 iMac Pro 2020 MacBook Air and later 2018 MacBook Pro and later 2019 Mac Pro and later 2018 Mac mini and later 2022 Mac Studio and later As you can see, Apple is fast approaching the end of Intel Mac support as this new system is only available for a few of the latest models, such as the 2019 MacBook Pro and the 2019 Mac Pro. In addition to that, there are several exclusive features that only Apple Silicon Macs can run, which means the company is pushing customers to upgrade to Apple's latest and greatest Macs. Alongside macOS Sequoia, Apple has also previewed iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2.0. Several features are coming to Apple users in the coming months, and BGR will bring all the latest details as Cupertino starts testing these new operating system updates. Besides that, the iPhone 16 is fast approaching. We expect Apple's newest phone to be announced by September, alongside the new macOS 15 release date.
