Authorities say an illegal alien from Honduras who stabbed a 14-year-old girl with what is believed to be a butcher knife and fled the scene has been arrested. The teenage girl was watching her brother’s baseball game in Lowell, Indiana, on Saturday when she was allegedly stabbed in the hand by a man who authorities say was residing in the country illegally after being previously deported. Buy here for a theater near you. “Investigators have learned Yanez had been deported to Honduras in 2018 and may have been engaged in criminal activity across the United States since returning to the country illegally,” Sheriff Oscar Martinez Jr. said. “The US Department of Homeland Security has been notified of his arrest today.” Law enforcement also noted that Yanez allegedly attempted to attack the girl’s mother when she tried to intervene. The attack comes amid a broader wave of violent crime from illegal aliens, some of whom have entered the United States under the Biden-Harris administration.
