The open casting call for HBO’s rendition of the original Harry Potter series has officially begun.

The legendary Beatles guitarist George Harrison was finally inducted as a solo artist into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2004. His good friends Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne were the ones responsible to induct him that night. Both of them performed the classic song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" alongside Harrison's son Dhani, Steve Winwood and Prince. It was Prince who really stole the show with an incredible and perfect guitar solo that night and according to an upcoming documentary about the Rockstar, it could have been motivated by an act of revenge. That was revealed by the New York Times writer Sasha Weiss who had the chance to watch the movie and told that story. Prince wanted to prove Rolling Stone magazine they were wrong She explained that the documentary says that Prince was really upset that he had been left out of the Rolling Stone list that chose the 100 best guitarists of all time in 2003. Since the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was an event associated with Rolling Stone and the magazine's co-founder Jann Wenner, Prince used the performance as an act of revenge. Mötley Crüe will release next October 4 their new EP called "Cancelled", which has three new songs: "Dogs of War", the Beastie Boys cover "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)" and the title-track "Cancelled". Heart had to postpone the remaining dates of their North American 2024 tour because the vocalist Ann Wilson had to undergo cancer treatments. The Zakk Wylde group Black Label Society released a new single called "The Gallows", which might be part of an upcoming album the band revealed recently they were working on. However, there is still nothing confirmed about that and the song was really released as a single only. Besides Zakk Wylde on guitar and vocals, the band is also formed by John DeServio (Bass), Dario Lorina (Guitar) and Jeff Fabb (Drums). The band has only one scheduled show this year that will happen next September 14 in Bushkill, PA. For the next few months, Zakk will be busy touring with Pantera.
