Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel abruptly stopped the awards ceremony Sunday night to read a social media post from America’s 45th president Donald Trump‚ who blasted the elitist Hollywood event as “boring” and bashed Kimmel as a terrible host. The live off-script incident took place after Trump fired off his critical post on Truth Social amid the awards show‚ goading the show’s unhinged limousine liberal host into dedicating airtime to him.
