On July 30th, two annual meteor showers will line up to give us a rare show that will send around 30 shooting stars across the sky every hour. That night, The Delta Aquarids and the Alpha Capricornids will be at their peaks, which is an extremely rare coincidence. The two will jointly produce between 25 and 30 meteors an hour. And the shooting stars will be visible from sundown until sunrise.  The majority of the shooting stars will come from the Aquarids. According to Earth.com, that meteor shower is produced by bits of the comet 96P Machholz. Both Meteor Showers Will Dazzle Skies Around The Aquarius Constellation  To see the best show, watch the southeastern area of the sky around the Aquarius constellation. Finding the exact location of Aquarius can be difficult. But if you can locate Capricornus, Aquila, or Pisces, you’re looking in the right direction.  The Capricornids shower will also be around Aquarius, and it will produce about five of the meteors each hour. To get the clearest views, drive away from city lights. You’ll also want to keep away from blue lights, which are typically displayed on your phone.
