Portland Antifa rioter found guilty of orchestrating riot. Her comrades then apparently got violent.

An Antifa ringleader based in Portland, Oregon, was found guilty on Wednesday of felony riot, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and unlawful use of mace in the second degree in relation to a riot in 2021 at a park in neighboring Clackamas County.A self-described independent journalist, Alissa Eleanor Azar was charged in connection with a riot that started when Antifa showed up to counter right-wing and conservative activists holding a voter registration drive in Clackamette Park in Oregon City. Video evidence showed Azar rushing in to use bear mace against a woman, according to the Post Millennial.'It's us against badged and unbadged fascists.'The day of the riot, Azar promoted the counter-rally on her social media, saying, "Don’t forget about the counter demonstration this afternoon, if you're able to show up to support please do! Rise against hate, stand up to fascism." Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney Josh Cutino argued Antifa was looking for a fight, as evidenced by Azar and other Antifa members launching an attack on the right-wing event. An Oregon City police officer testified that his team discovered homemade explosive devices and riot shields in the area where Antifa had congregated, prompting a bomb squad to be called in to secure and clear the scene.Azar's posts on X after the riot also undermined her defense of being a "journalist." "There will be wins, there will be many losses. it's us against badged and unbadged fascists. That's two separate forces who fight us, together & independently. i would as well," she wrote in one post.Azar also has a long history of carrying out attacks with Antifa and being arrested in Multnomah County, where Portland is located. However, because of the progressive district attorney's office, Azar was never charged in that jurisdiction, according to the Post Millennial. After the verdict was announced, the Post Millennial and the Federalist reported that another infamous Antifa militant, John Hacker, allegedly attacked a man outside the courthouse, causing the man to bleed from the face."I crossed the street and John Hacker’s there, and I was like, 'I think I just saw you assault him,'" Clackamas County Commissioner Ben West told the Federalist. "John tries to evade, police end up arresting him.""He was bleeding pretty profusely. He was dazed. I got him off the ground, sat him up, tried to provide some direct pressure," West said. "Then Antifa came out and were yelling threatening things to me and making threats to me and my person while I was giving my report to law enforcement."Hacker is still in the Clackamas County Jail, charged with assault. He has been denied bail.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

Secret Service leaves Trump vulnerable once again after female agent abandons post to breastfeed: Report

The U.S. Secret Service once again left former President Donald Trump vulnerable to attack after a female agent reportedly abandoned her post to breastfeed her child during a event in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday.Shortly before Trump's motorcade was set to arrive in the area, the site agent in charge of overseeing all security for the event took one final sweep of the walking route, according to a report from Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics citing "three sources in the Secret Service community."This apparent security lapse by the Secret Service is just the latest in a series of security breaches by the agency ... that seemingly led to 20-year-old Thomas Crooks firing several rounds at Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13During this last-minute security check, the site agent found a female Secret Service agent breastfeeding her child in a room reserved for "important Secret Service official work," including a possible emergency involving the president, Crabtree said.Secret Service agents on duty are prohibited from bringing their children to a protective assignment, Crabtree added. Not only had the female agent apparently violated that restriction, but she was also accompanied by two members of her family who may have been unvetted. The agent, her two relatives, and ostensibly her baby bypassed the Uniformed Division checkpoint and were taken to the secure room by an "unpinned" staff member, Crabtree's report indicated. "Unpinned" means the Secret Service has not given the individual clearance to be there.Crabtree did not provide the identity of the female agent but did note that she is from the Atlanta Field Office.Where the agent was assigned to be at the Asheville event and whether another agent took her place are both unclear. When reached for comment about the incident, Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi gave Crabtree the following statement: "All employees of the U.S. Secret Service are held to the highest standards. While there was no impact to the North Carolina event, the specifics of this incident are being examined. Given this is a personnel matter, we are not in a position to comment further."This apparent security lapse by the Secret Service is just the latest in a series of security breaches by the agency — thoroughly documented by Blaze News — that seemingly led to 20-year-old Thomas Crooks firing several rounds at Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. One of those rounds came within millimeters of killing the former president, tearing through his right ear rather than his skull. Another shot claimed the life of former fire chief Corey Comperatore. Two others were critically wounded.Outrage over the shooting led to the resignation of Director Kimberly Cheatle. However, acting Director Ronald Rowe admitted just two weeks ago that no agent affiliated with the July 13 rally had yet been fired.Trump traveled to North Carolina this week to give a speech about his economic plan in a prospective second term. Among other ideas, Trump touted a pledge to eliminate taxes on Social Security remittance.Like Blaze News? JD Vance DESTROYS supporters of gender affirming care for minors: ‘And they think WE’RE weird’

The Harris campaign has been relentless in its mission to brand Trump’s VP pick, JD Vance, as a “weird” “white supremacist.” But Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” knows that couldn’t be further from the truth. “JD Vance is not a white supremacist, he’s just someone saying basically true things that everybody used to know 20 years ago,” Rubin says. In a recent interview with the NELK Boys on the “Full Send Podcast,” Vance illustrated Rubin’s point perfectly, when he was asked about medically altering children based on leftist ideology. “These people think that everything that’s different about men and women is, they use this word ‘socially constructed,’” Vance told the NELK Boys. “Yeah, some of our differences are cultural, some of our differences are just basic biology.” “They’re so uncomfortable with that, that they try to biologically change men into women and women into men. ‘Cause if you can get rid of the biological differences, then you can get rid of all the differences, too,” he continued. However, Vance made the point that leftists who believe in gender ideology think the differences are a bad thing. “It’s a source of one of the coolest parts about being, like, a living, breathing, human being in the world,” Vance said. “Women think about stuff slightly differently than men do, and that is a good thing, and we shouldn’t try to destroy those differences in the name of ‘equality.’” Vance also explained that the differences between men and women is “not an excuse to sterilize kids, to try to turn a girl into a boy or vice versa.” And while the left claims the medical procedures children are being subjected to are not permanent, Vance sees it differently. “If you give hormonal therapy to a 9-year-old kid, that is not totally reversible. I mean these kids have bladder problems and other stuff that’s just gross. And why are we doing this to our kids without any real confidence in the science? It makes you realize a lot of the public health establishment in this country is pretty deranged,” he said. Vance also is under the impression that if your child wants to undergo hormonal therapies in a state like California, and you disagree with it, you’re at risk of having your child taken away. “I’m a father of three. That would make me go absolutely like, ‘We’re moving to the hills, keep your hands off my kids, this is crazy town,’” Vance told the NELK boys, adding, “Their view is that we should be teaching kids gender reassignment, and they think that we’re ‘weird.’” “Doesn’t make a lot of sense,” he added. Trump campaign brings back Corey Lewandowski

Trump campaign brings back Corey Lewandowski

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was brought back on to help former President Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. “As we head into the home stretch of this election, we are continuing to add to our impressive campaign team,” read a joint statement from Trump campaign senior aides Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita. “Corey Lewandowski, Taylor Budowich, Alex Pfeiffer, Alex Bruesewitz, and Tim Murtaugh are all veterans of prior Trump campaigns and their unmatched experience will help President Trump prosecute the case against Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, the most radical ticket in American history," they added. Lewandowski was the campaign manager for part of the successful 2016 Trump campaign that defeated Hillary Clinton. He was later dropped from a pro-Trump super PAC in 2021 after being accused of unwanted sexual advances by the wife of a donor. He had the charges dropped in an agreement with prosecutors. Budowich had headed the MAGA Inc. super PAC, while Bruesewitz and Pfeiffer had also been top officials at the same organization. Murtaugh had been the communications director for Trump's 2020 campaign. The development was first reported by Politico. Polling has surged for Trump's opponent, Kamala Harris, since President Joe Biden stepped down from the Democratic presidential ticket. While many Democrats are heartened by the support, CNN poll analyst Harry Enten warned them against celebrating too early given historical trends in Trump's favor. "The bottom line is this: If you have an idea, if you're a Kamala Harris fan and you wanna rip open the champagne bottle, pop that cork, do not do it. Donald Trump is very much in this race," said Enten. "If we have a polling shift like we've seen in prior years from now until the final result, Donald Trump would actually win."Like Blaze News? The Long Arm of Europe’s Crackdown on Speech

An EU regulator may have blundered in spelling out the union’s ambitions to be censor of the West’s online discourse, but those ambitions are not going away.
