Phil Mogg’s new band Moggs Motel releases first single “Apple Pie”

The legendary UFO co-founder and vocalist Phil Mogg recently announced that the band was over and probably wouldn't return anymore. He suffered a heart attack in 2023 and had to change the plans for a possible farewell tour of the group. But now he announced that he has a new band, which is called Moggs Motel and the first single "Apple Pie" was released. Their self-titled debut album will be out next September 6 via SPV/Steamhammer. Besides Phil Mogg, the band is also formed by Tony Newton (Bass, and keyboards), Neil Carter (Guitar and keyboards), Joe Lazarus (Drums) and Tommy Gentry (Guitar). Hear the first Moggs Motel song "Apple Pie" https://youtu.be/NkWD8JqNOb0 An official statement about the new band was released, saying: “UFO fans, watch out! Anyone who’d feared over the past two years that Mogg, one of the most influential rock vocalists worldwide, would disappear completely from the scene after the demise of his band, in addition to his health problems, has now thankfully been proved wrong.” “After a brief hiatus to catch his creative breath, the 76-year-old British musician with the distinctive voice is ready to present his latest band and release, ‘Moggs Motel’, which he composed together with Tony Newton (bass and keyboards) from the band Voodoo Six, who had been touring partners with UFO previously, and long-standing associate Neil Carter (guitar, keyboards, vocals)." "The album was recorded at Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’s studio in Essex, U.K. In the studio, the band was joined by Joe Lazarus (drums) and Tommy Gentry (guitar) to complete the lineup,” the statement said. Career with UFO Formed in London, England in 1968, they became in the following decades one of the most influential Hard Rock bands of all time. Besides Mogg, some of the other classic members of the band were Pete Way (Bass), Andy Parker (Drums) and Michael Schenker (Guitar). In almost five decades of career, the band released 22 studio albums, the final one being “The Salentino Cuts” (2017). They were a huge influence to famous bands like Iron Maiden, for example. For decades, the Metal band plays their song “Doctor Doctor” as the intro of their concerts. The band’s leader, the bassist Steve Harris is a huge fan of UFO. Some of their most famous tracks are “Doctor Doctor”, “Rock Bottom”, “Mother Mary” and “Lights Out”. The guitarist that Eddie Van Halen said was a chameleon

The guitarist that Eddie Van Halen said was a chameleon

Formed by the brothers Alex and Eddie Van Halen in 1972, Van Halen struggled playing in the bar circuit until they finally signed a record deal and released their groundbreaking debut album in 1978. Eddie's unique take on the guitar influenced countless artists who started to immediately try to play like him and there were many imitators of his style in the Rock and Roll scene especially in the 80s. Over the decades the musician always praised guitar players he admired. One of them was a good friend of his and he described him as a "chameleon". The guitarist that Eddie Van Halen said was a chameleon There are different types of guitarists, those who are really good at a few styles and those who really can play anything really well. Like many guitar heroes, Eddie Van Halen was really good at his style and genre, but he really admired artists who could really fit into many different genres and could really play everything. One of them was his good friend Steve Lukather, who is known as the guitarist of Toto and a legendary session musician. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2011, Van Halen praised him and called him a "chameleon". "He’s a studio guy. He started out playing on so many people’s records that he could play any style you wanted. He just amazes me at what a chameleon he can be. (Steve) can throw himself in any situation and shine." He continued: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmOLtTGvsbM&pp=ygUMcm9zYW5uYSB0b290 "It’s almost hard to tell who’s really him. I guess it’s probably all of them, everything he’s ever been exposed to is who he is. He’s kind of a player’s player, a musician’s musician. I’m more of a straightforward rock & roll guitarist, blessed to be in a kick-ass rock band," Eddie Van Halen said. Although he is known as one of the founders of Toto, Lukather also gained more recognition for being one of the most frequent Ringo Starr collaborators. But after he helped to form Toto, he also focused on his work as session guitarist and he played with many famous artists. He collaborated with names like Michael Jackson, Cher, Alice Cooper, Chicago, Neil Diamond, Elton John, Quincy Jones, Joni Mitchell, Diana Ross. They are only a few of a huge list that shows how versatile he is. How Eddie Van Halen and Steve Lukather first met each other Toto and Van Halen curiously released their debut albums in the same year and Eddie and Steve also met each other in that year. In an interview with Rock History Music in 2023 (Transcribed by Rock and Roll Garage), Lukather recalled how they first met each other. "I've met him at the California World Music Festival in 1978. Both of us had our first albums out and I obviously wanted to meet him. (...)" "I've always think that Van Halen (wasn't a band, but a guy called Van Halen) but I never heard him until the first album. We were just peas from the same pod. We would laugh, we (were two goofs playing guitar). I said 'We should hang' and he phoned me, invited me to his house and kinda never left." "I loved him like blood and were just guitar buddies. We were real friends, we went through the trenches. Life, kids, divorce, new things, bands, you know, we had a lot in common. And we lived close to each other and we were also troublemakers at at time, you know." Steve Lukather continued: "We were young and it was fun until it wasn't and then we stopped. I have so many insanely great memories of Ed that I would never share. But I've always have right here (in my mind). I'll be the old guy sitting in a fireplace that will go '"Yeah, I got a couple stories of Ed,'" Steve Lukather said. David Lee Roth didn't like him that much Although Eddie Van Halen and Lukather were really good friends, the original Van Halen vocalist David Lee Roth didn't like him that much. He recalled in an interview with Sunset Sound Recorders (Transcribed by Rock and Roll Garage) that once he entered the studio where the Hard Rock band was recording and he was looking for Eddie. However, David Lee Roth wasn't really happy to see him. “I walked in the studio looking for Ed once and Roth was sitting there with Donn Landee (Producer and engineer). I walked in like the ever jovial self: (saying) ‘Hey man, what’s up. Where’s Ed?’ And Roth looked at me like I just killed his parents or something. The look on his face was like ‘What are you doing here?’ Like, ‘How dare you share the same air?'” Steve Lukather continued: “I got the vibe right away and said ‘I’m just looking for Ed, man’. Donn was like ‘No, no, he’s over there’, and I got out of there quick. I’m a friend of all those guys. I just never knew David,” Steve Lukather said. Toto has sold an estimated amount of more than 40 million records all over the world. They also recently reached the number of more than 1 billion streams on Spotify with their hit "Africa".The post The guitarist that Eddie Van Halen said was a chameleon appeared first on Rock And Roll Garage.

CHRIS SKY - HERE COMES THE 50 YEAR MORTGAGES!! ?!!!

I told you the last vestige of wealth (and freedom) left in Canada lies in Canadian home ownership. Besides interest rates and a controlled increase cost of living they have an even more sinister plan that guarantees within half a century they will either own your home or they will wipe out 100% of the positive equity in your home. And you know what? The "average person" will find it as an attractive option for the "lower monthly payments." Enter the 50 YEAR MORTGAGE!

Lavrov on Death of International Diplomacy: ‘West is Unable to Negotiate’

from 21st Century Wire: It’s been years in the making. Russia’s enigmatic foreign minister echoes what many other countries have been releasing ever since the ‘unipolar moment’ arrived in 1991. He has all but written-off the possibility that the United States can be trusted as an honest broker in the international system. And it’s certainly […]

Nattokinase: A Superfood Enzyme for a Healthier Heart

You might not be familiar with nattokinase, but if you have any concerns about heart health, it’s something you might want to explore as this enzyme has powerful effects on blood clots and other cardiovascular health threats. Article by Ethan Huff, republished with permission from Naturalnews.com It is found in natto, a traditional Japanese dish that is made using soybeans fermented with the bacterium Bacillus subtilis natto, which is rich in nutrients such as zinc, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium and copper. The dish has been enjoyed in Japan for more than 1,200 years, but unlike other Japanese imports such as sushi and miso soup, it has only recently caught wider attention in the West on account of its health properties. Natto is commonly consumed at breakfast in Japan, often with rice and pickled vegetables, and Japanese grocery stores offer numerous varieties of it, much like the abundance of yogurt varieties found in the U.S. There are various accounts of its origins, with one of the most popular theories claiming that it can be traced to soldiers who consumed boiled soybeans that had been packed in bundles of rice straw before they had a chance to cool down after they sat for several days. They reportedly found the resulting food delicious and nourishing and soon began requesting it; rice straw contains the Bacillus subtilis natto bacterium, so it was essentially discovered by accident. Scientists would later discover that nattokinase can degrade fibrin, which is an important structural component of blood clots. This means it is useful in preventing blood clots, reducing blood pressure and potentially even addressing Alzheimer’s disease. Here is a closer look at some of its top benefits: Preventing blood clots: A blood clot is largely made up of fibrin, and nattokinase’s fibrinolytic and antithrombolytic properties mean that in addition to stopping clots from forming, it may even be able to help dissolve them. Reducing cholesterol: Some studies have pointed to nattokinase’s ability to reduce total and LDL cholesterol, in addition to triglycerides. Slowing atherosclerosis: Atherosclerosis, or the hardening of arteries, is associated with the formation of blood clots. Nattokinase’s anticoagulant and antiplatelet properties mean it could help clean arteries and stave off atherosclerosis. Reducing blood pressure: High blood pressure is often associated with serious cardiac events such as strokes and heart attacks. Nattokinase has demonstrated an ability to reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure in individuals who have hypertension, and its effects are especially noticeable in men. Boosting brain health: Studies in animals have shown that nattokinase degrades amyloid fibrils; these are the proteins that can contribute to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases when they bind together. It has also been shown to enhance brain function in stroke patients. Stroke rehabilitation: A small study showed that people recovering from a stroke who supplemented with nattokinase for 60 days had better blood pressure and cholesterol control. Detoxifying from COVID-19 vaccines: During the pandemic, some experts, like Dr. Peter McCullough, suggested that given nattokinase’s ability to fight blood clots, it could dissolve spike proteins and help people detoxify from COVID-19 “clot shots.” As a traditional dish that has been enjoyed by Japanese people for centuries, natto does not generally have any side effects. However, like many foods, some people may be allergic to it. Scientists believe that it could lower blood pressure too much in some people and potentially cause blood clots to relocate as it breaks them down, which may shift them to a less favorable position, such as the brain or lungs. It’s not a good idea to take it with blood pressure medication or blood thinners. Where can you find nattokinase? The traditional Japanese dish natto may be the most obvious source of nattokinase, but it has a smell that has been compared to that of Gorgonzola cheese and a strong flavor that may not appeal to everyone, not to mention a sticky and slightly slimy texture. There are several supplements on the market that can be useful for those who do not have easy access to this food or do not enjoy consuming it, but it is important to seek reputable sources. Sources for this article include: J-Nattokinase.org Britannica.com PeterMcCulloughMD.Substack.com RELATED REPORT: CONFIRMED: Dr. Peter McCullough On How Nattokinase Could Counteract Spike Protein Damage! While Fauci was lining the pockets of big pharma by peddling dangerous and experimental mRNA vaccines, Dr. Peter McCullough has been hard at work determining safe, scientific ways to combat spike protein effects. As the nation’s preeminent cardiologist, and one of the most trusted medical voices during the pandemic, Dr. McCullough is dedicated to determining what are – and what are not – effective ways to overcome COVID19 and COVID19 vaccine injuries. And now, this research is bearing fruits. The ingredient that Fauci and big pharma don’t want you to know about is – Nattokinase. Nattokinase is one of the key ingredients in The Wellness Company’s Spike Support formula (plus, ordering through this link and the links below benefits We Love Trump). In recent articles, Dr. McCullough highlighted the safety of nattokinase in counteracting spike protein and potential cardiovascular damage: “Approximately 15% of Americans who took a COVID-19 vaccine have some new medical illness and regret the shot. Many are looking to nattokinase in formulations of Spike protein support supplements. Chen et al reviewed human studies before the pandemic on the use of nattokinase with this introduction: ‘Natto, a cheese-like food made of soybeans fermented with Bacillus subtilis, has been consumed as a traditional food in Asian countries for more than 2000 years. Natto consumption is believed to be a significant contributor to the longevity of the Japanese population. Recent studies demonstrated that a high natto intake was associated with decreased risk of total cardiovascular disease mortality and, in particular, a decreased risk of mortality from ischaemic heart diseases. Before the 1980s, very little was known about the mechanism by which natto consumption led to overall cardiovascular health. In 1987, Sumi et al discovered that natto contained a potent fibrinolytic enzyme called nattokinase. Since then, a considerable amount of NK research has been performed on NK in Japan, Korea, China, and the United States, and these studies confirmed that NK, an alkaline protease of 275 amino acid residues with a molecular weight of approximately 28 kDa, is the most active ingredient of natto and is responsible for many favourable effects on cardiovascular health. First, nattokinase has potent fibrinolytic/antithrombotic activity. In addition, in both animal and human studies, NK also has an antihypertensive, anti-atherosclerotic, lipid-lowering, antiplatelet/anticoagulant, and neuroprotective actions… The most unique feature of nattokinase is that, as a single compound, it possesses multiple cardiovascular disease preventative and alleviating pharmacologic effects (namely, antithrombotic, antihypertensive, anticoagulant, anti-atherosclerotic, and neuroprotective effects). There are no other drugs or drug candidates with multiple pharmacologic properties similar to nattokinase. In addition, nattokinase is a natural product that can be administered orally, has a proven safety profile, is economical to use, and provides distinct advantages over other pharmaceutical products.’ In summary this review is reassuring that the ever-increasing use of nattokinase in post-COVID-19 and after COVID-19 vaccine injuries is safe and reasonably well tolerated. There may be additional benefits on the cardiovascular system.” If you or someone you love would like to try nattokinase, Dr. Peter McCullough and his team of doctors on the Chief Medical Board of The Wellness Company designed a non-GMO “Spike Support Formula” that contains nattokinase plus other extracts. In The Wellness Company’s Spike Support Formula you will find: – Nattokinase (dissolves spike protein) – Selenium (aids in helping the body repair itself and recover) – Dandelion root (acts as a detoxifying agent supporting better liver function) – Black sativa extract (may facilitate cellular repair) – Green tea extract (provides added defenses at the cellular level through scavenging for free radicals) – Irish sea moss (could help rebuild damaged tissue and muscle) Here is Dr. Jen VanDeWater talking about all the elements of The Wellness Company’s Spike Support Formula: People are saying about The Wellness Company’s Spike Support Formula: “I saw Dr. McCullough talk about the product and decided to give it a try. A month and a half later, I feel sooo much better. I also have recommended the product to family members to help them detox from the painful side effects of the vaccine.” “I feel like I have had brain fog for the past 18 months and after taking this supplement noticed the fog lifting finally. I plan to buy more for myself and now a friend suffering from heart issues.” “I am grateful for the Wellness Company and for you coming out with this spike protein vitamins. I am a big believer in natural healing and not pharmaceutical drugs. Thank you for doing what is right and for speaking truth in a world that is so dark.” According to The Wellness Company, purchasing all the separate ingredients of the Spike Support Formula would be over $100 – you can save 36% with the unique formulation in The Wellness Company’s Spike Support Formula.
