Shania Twain is getting some harsh feedback from her audience after sporting a nude and sequin bodysuit during a recent Las Vegas show. Twain is currently in the middle of her Shania Twain: Come On Over Las Vegas residency. The show, officially titled Shania Twain: COME ON OVER – The Las Vegas Residency – All The Hits!, is held at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. She's currently in her final shows of 2024 and for the residency, and Twain is making sure to put on a show. While Twain sounds great on some songs, others sound like bad karaoke, but more than that, fans have some thoughts about her revealing outfits. A social media user shared a clip from a recent show of her performing "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)," and the country star is wearing a skimpy nude leotard with sequins on it. The parts near her chest and bottom are made of satin material, giving the appearance that she's almost wearing a bikini. But to some, it also looks like she's wearing a Depend adult diaper. This is not the first time Twain has been criticized for her newfound look. When she hosted the People's Choice Country Awards this year, fans quickly noticed that she didn't even look like herself. Rocking a ’60s homemaker look on the red carpet, she was quickly met with comments about her appearance. While we all know the saying "don't read the comments," some of her fans had a point. Islamist rebels took the Syrian city of Hama Thursday from the forces of the secularist President Bashar al-Assad. Fighting between the rebels and Assad’s Syrian Arab Army had been occurring on the outskirts of the city for the previous five days.  The rebel forces are led by the group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which grew out of an Al Qaeda affiliate. The leader of HTS, Abu Mohammed al-Golani, is also the former leader of the Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s Syrian branch. HTS is also rumored to have received aid from Ukraine in the form of kamikaze drones to use against Russian bases in Syria. The city is strategically located, sitting on the road between Syria’s capital of Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo, which fell to rebels last week. Hama’s seizure by Islamists, following on the heels of the rebels’ seizure of Aleppo last week, has been ascribed to the distraction of two of the Assad government’s major backers, with Russia’s military resources concentrated on the conflict in Ukraine and Hezbollah weakened after its conflict with Israel.  There are also widespread reports of desertions in Assad’s army.
