Black Swan Events Can Still Happen

Examples of black swan events:

The 1929 Great Depression

Pearl Harbor

9/11

COVID

[The following items predicted possible black swan events believed would take place and either disrupt the 2024 Presidential election or affect the outcome, none of which came to pass, but if there is any time for a black swan event to take place, it would be a time during which one would be least anticipated. With Trump in power as we had all hoped and prayed for, we are now living in a time when a black swan even is most likely to take place. When and what form cannot be known, but it is so vitally important that we do not become complacent, but that we remain vigilant. As we rejoice in the accomplishments and success of this current administration, we would also do well to pay just as much attention to what our enemies are doing as well. Granted that the following items from The Gateway Pundit may seem irrelevant, but they are not in the sense in that the possible scenarios described could still happen which is why we need to be continue being vigilant in reporting on and circulating any word of suspicious activity or any credible plots or plans against this nation, its people, and the efforts of the Trump administration from without and within our borders. We have won a great electoral and political victory, but now is not the time for complacency. No time ever is. Complacency, laziness, ignorance, and a lack of discernment and discretion are what our enemies rely on the most to deliver their next attacks.]

“Performance For The Ages” – NFL Fans Reminisce On Chris Stapleton’s Iconic Super Bowl Rendition Of The National Anthem

Hey NFL... you still thinking about Chris Stapleton's National Anthem performance from Super Bowl LVII? That's okay. The rest of us are in the same boat. It's one of those performances that sticks with you, and the country music star's rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" should go down as one of the best of all time. I'd say the only other performance that rivals Chris Stapleton's would be the late, great Whitney Houston's from the 1991 Super Bowl. In the rare case that you've never seen the video, first off... I'm jealous that you get to watch and listen to this for the very first time. Secondly, it's truly a phenomenal display of an artist in their peak form not only honoring the cherished song, but also managing to rock the ever-living daylights out of it (respectfully, of course). I'm not sure anyone was truly ready for Chris Stapleton to bring the house down with his performance like he did. Most country music fans know that he's one of the best vocalists in the entire music industry, yet somehow he still managed to exceed expectations. That's why the NFL is still talking about it two years later. Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, which is now just mere days away, the National Football League utilized their official social media account to basically ask one question: everybody remember how badass Chris Stapleton's "Star Spangled Banner" was? When you take a moment to fully digest the moment, it really had everything you could ask for. Stapleton was wearing sunglasses inside, his guitar playing perfectly complimented his otherworldly vocals, and grown men were brought to tears by the beauty of it all. The NFL used the excuse of the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles rematch to post the video once again, but I think we all know that they just can't get over how good the performance was like the rest of us: "The last time the Chiefs and the Eagles faced off in the Super Bowl, Chris Stapleton had a National Anthem performance for the ages." https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1886920171979464960 Could they not just play that one back for this year's Super Bowl? This Sunday, the honor will actually go to R&B singer Jon Batiste. I'm sure he'll do a fine job with the National Anthem, but it's one of those situations where you hate to follow up a legendary performance - even if it's been a couple of years now since Stapleton blew everyone away. Seriously though... pop artist Pink came out afterwards and straight up asked why anyone besides Chris Stapleton would ever sing the National Anthem ever again. And I'm with her. The "White Horse" singer just set the bar so high with his rendition, and I'm afraid from here on out, people will say, "That was good... but was it Chris Stapleton good?" And while we're talking about different National Anthem singers, I'd be remiss if I didn't direct you to one of the worst National Anthem performance to ever exist. It's jarring how bad this one is, especially if you've just watched Chris Stapleton's version above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj0hcLiWFzI&t=83s

Morgan Wallen Turns #1 Hit “Love Somebody” Into Beautiful Piano Ballad

But this version is... so much better. Morgan Wallen is gearing up to put out a new album sometime this year called I'm The Problem, and he's hitting the road on a subsequent stadium tour to coincide with the record. There's still no release date for it quite yet, but I have to imagine it will be out before the summer so fans can sing along with everything at the shows. He's released several songs that will be featured on the tracklist so far including the title track, "Smile" and his most recent #1, "Love Somebody," which was written by Morgan along with John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Elof Loelv and Ryan Vojtesak, and focuses on how he longs for a real relationship with a girl who loves him for who he is as a person, rather than a massive country star with unending amounts of money and fame. It seems likely that Morgan pulled inspiration from his own personal life with this one, because he’s been on a rocket ship to the moon the last several years with his music, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Last night, he shared a beautiful piano arrangement of the song, turning it into a ballad that really fits the song in my humble opinion... he said he has been trying to figure out what to play on tour and he likely won't play this one on the piano like this, but he really should: "Alright, I'm recording this myself, trying to figure out what we're gonna play on tour. Probably not gonna play this on tour, not this version anyway, but I like how it sounds. I didn't practice that much, but I think it sounds cool." Morgan joked that he won't be "taking on any more cinematography projects" this year, because he had some issues getting the camera set up to record, but for the most part I thought it was just fine: "Will not be taking on any more cinematography projects this year as I will be busy doing things I’m hopefully somewhat better at..." It's pretty rare for Morgan to share a video like this on Instagram, he generally only posts very professional videos from shows and basic announcements these days (which I get, in an effort to keep his privacy and help him stay out of trouble online, I'm assuming), but I absolutely love "Love Somebody" on piano. Sometimes it's easy to forget how good his voice is and his raw talent to sing, because it's often overshadowed by all the production in his music, but this... I want more of this. Zach Bryan Confirms Upcoming EP, ‘With Heaven On Top,’ Is Coming “Sooner Than Not”

New music is on the way, and seemingly soon. Zach Bryan has been teasing new music for quite some time now. He began sharing snippets of songs he was workshopping shortly after his public breakup with Brianna Chickenfry. While that period of his life gave us “This World’s A Giant"  and "High Road," the breakup was not the only thing inspiring new music. ZB wrapped up the Quttin' Time Tour, which he claims will be his last major tour, took some time off, and has recently been out on the West Coast skiing, hanging out with friends and just being a dude. Since we were gifted two singles right after the breakup, ZB also released "Blue Jean Baby" after the Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC Championship and released a reimagined duet version of “Rattlesnake” with Jack Van Cleaf. Fans have been excited about what's on the horizon with his new music, feeling that an album was coming sooner rather than later. While longtime listeners of Bryan know that he has never taken the traditional route with his music, we never really know what he's up to. Last night, ZB shared on Instagram a music update that was not about a record but promised an EP coming soon. Sharing a snippet of a song that sounds very Bon Iver-inspired, ZB tagged Real Estate, Keenan O'Meara, Hannah Lynn Cohen, and Ana Monwah Lei, which all appear to be featured on the snippet of the track. The track features beautiful string melodies and lyrics with a whimsical yet heartbreaking feel. The multipart harmonies coat your ears. While bragging about these musicians as the best of all time, he then shares a sentence that discloses the name of a forthcoming EP, which features the same name as a song he's previously teased, "With Heaven On Top." "'With Heaven On Top' the EP is out sooner than not." https://www.instagram.com/p/DFrf_dnxg4Z/ Although "sooner than not" does not disclose an exact release date, at least ZB is giving fans confirmation that a project of sorts is on the way. However, given the number of unreleased songs ZB has been sharing on his Instagram, I would not be surprised if this was part one of a larger project or if With Heaven On Top was separate from a record. Zach Bryan seems to continue to lean into the hurt he's healing from post-breakup, with many recent songs featuring captions that feel very pointed toward his relationship with Bri. While there has been a lot of talk on her side about the breakup, claiming that ZB offered her $12 million to sign an NDA, ZB has yet to speak out on the matter. However, given these captions, it feels like we might be getting a glimpse into his side of the story through the next batch of songs he gifts to fans. And even if he never speaks on it at all, he's a songwriter... putting it all on paper and writing his way through whatever pain he's feeling seems to be the recipe for success. "What pissed me off is you pissed on all the friends I ever made." https://www.instagram.com/p/DForeLIJIB4/ In addition, Bryan confirmed in his conversation with Bruce Springsteen that he had already written several songs for his next album. ZB also more recently teamed up with Matthew McConaughey, once again announcing a video project titled “Motorbreath. " The project captures a two-week motorcycle ride with him and his best friends as they recorded “one final major label album.” “This is not a film about a band, this is a film about a boy from Oklahoma. A boy who joined the Navy, with a love of writing. That writing connected with people, a lot of people. This film is about a group of best friends taking a two-week motorcycle ride across America, while recording one final major label album. Oh, and the title of the film you ask? ‘Motorbreath.’” https://www.instagram.com/reel/DE121T3RKHX/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=86013d34-5700-4192-9e60-058a9d0590ec Because of these moving pieces, it feels like something might still be in the works later. But for Zach Bryan fans, the promise of any new music makes for a good day. So I am sure fans are giddy to hear that With Heaven On Top is (hopefully) in its final stages of creation, and ZB is true to his word that it's coming "sooner than not." I can't wait to hear what's in store. While you're here, fire up "Blue Jean Baby." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL6osaiYTP4

Influencer Scammed Out Of $5,000 In Tickets To Morgan Wallen’s ‘Sand In My Boots’ Festival

Hey, on the bright side, now she doesn't have to go to Morgan Wallen's festival. Last year, country superstar Morgan Wallen announced he was taking over the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2025, calling it the Sand In My Boots festival and bringing along a lot of his friends and favorite artists to join him on the lineup for the 3-day event. The multi-genre festival, which is taking place May 16-18, will feature performances from Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn, Hardy, Riley Green, T-Pain, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. And despite the insane prices, which started at $400 for a general admission pass, tickets sold out within two hours of going on sale back in October. It's clearly going to be one of the biggest music festivals of the year, and with demand for tickets far outpacing supply, fans are doing whatever they can to get their hands on tickets to the event. That, of course, means that many are turning to sites like Facebook in hopes of securing the elusive tickets so they can be a part of the festival themselves. But obviously buying tickets on a resale site has its risks, and one influencer apparently found that out the hard way. Macy Blackwell, an influencer with over 2 million followers on TikTok, recently took to social media to warn others about buying tickets to the festival after she was scammed out of $5,000 while trying to buy tickets from someone in a Facebook group. Blackwell says she joined a group dedicated to resale tickets for Sand In My Boots festival, which she says has over 12,000 members on Facebook. She sends a message to the admin of the group asking for two tickets, and is told that the tickets she's wanting would be $2,500 each. Now, Blackwell admits this should have been a red flag, because the $2,500 is $100 less than face value for the tickets she's buying. But apparently, that wasn't enough to keep her from sending this random stranger on the internet $5,000 via Apple Pay. But then two hours go by before Blackwell receives the tickets - which come from a Gmail account, and she says are clearly fake: "The location of the festival's wrong. There was typos in the ticket transfer email, so she must have spent the two hours typing up this big phony ticket thing." The scammer must have thought that Blackwell was an easy target though, because they then told her that she would have to pay ANOTHER $500 to pay for the fees. Luckily by this point the influencer realized she was being scammed and didn't send the money, but soon after, the scammer (who Blackwell says was listed as an administrator of the Facebook group) deleted their account altogether. Blackwell says she went to bed feeling "sick" about being scammed out of $5,000, but admits that the whole experience was her own fault for not being more careful before sending a random stranger on the internet that much money: "None of this would have happened if I wasn't done. Honestly it's my fault for being stupid and naive and falling for the scam. I didn't really want to share this because honestly it's embarrassing how I fell for this, but at the same time since there is nothing I can do about it, and no way to do anything to these people, I can at least share it with you so you don't fall for the same thing." Luckily I would never fall for a scam like that because I would never spend $5,000 on concert tickets to begin with, but if you're looking to buy tickets from Facebook, it's a good reminder to be careful and do whatever you can to verify before you actually send a stranger money. But hey, $5,000 is a small price to pay to not have to go to the Sand In My Boots festival. https://www.tiktok.com/@macy.blackwell/video/7467314413695946014?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7079551662505215534
