Consider how satirists pounced and seized on President Donald Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer after just a few short months in the gig.         Sarah Huckabee Sanders proved far more capable in the gig. She‚ too‚ got pummeled by satirical comics.     Comedians won’t lay a glove on Jean-Pierre. That’s despite the way she constantly flips through her notes to answer basic questions. Her predecessor‚ Jen Psaki‚ proved far more competent. One comedian noticed Jean-Pierre’s curious skill set‚ and his podcast is arguably the biggest show around. The host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” teed off on the woman known as KJP on his latest episode.      Rogan‚ chatting with conservative activist Christopher Rufo‚ explored the likely 2024 presidential rematch between Presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The mind behind Austin’s Comedy Mothership club noted‚ once again‚ that Biden is too old to be campaigning for a second term. “He’s so frail that he’s transparent … to the point where the White House Press Secretary accidentally Tweeted as him from her account‚” Rogan said. “I love it when that happens because‚ thank you‚ I was wondering‚ now I know. I kinda had a feeling it was you.” Joe Rogan to Karine Jean-Pierre: You Should Be Fired The podcaster then went from the rhetorical kill. “Has there ever been a worse press secretary [than Jean-Pierre]?” he asked. “How did she get that job? She’s so bad at convincing people.” There’s a bunch of hard-core‚ ideologically driven left-wing pundits that are on YouTube that would do a much better job‚ and they would be psycho about it‚ and the Left would be like‚ ‘Yeah!’ She’s not the one. If Burce lobbed softballs‚ Norman put the ball on the tee‚ “Now‚ one day after the State of the Union‚ the president started taking his message on the road. What is the administration's top priority right now?”     After running through President Joe Biden’s travel plans‚ LaBolt took the opportunity to give a truncated version of Biden’s State of the Union Address‚ “He's focused on preserving democracy in this country after insurrectionists stormed the capitol and tried to overturn the fair and free election results‚ restore Roe v. Wade after Donald Trump appointed Supreme Court justices that overturned it‚ and keeping the greatest American comeback story going‚ 15 million jobs created‚ inflation down by two-thirds. Wages are up. The president outlined policies to keep lowering costs for the American people and to make sure that corporations and the wealthiest pay their fair share.” Norman then put the ball back on the tee again‚ “Ben‚ real quick‚ before we let you go‚ the president heading to Georgia‚ that is where the incident with Laken Riley happened. Immigration is a top concern for so many voters. What is the administration's response to the criticism that they haven't done enough to stop the flood of migrants?” An ”incident” is a rather poor way to describe a murder‚ but LaBolt still gladly took the opportunity to rattle off his talking points and blame Republicans‚ “The first bill that the president introduced was a comprehensive immigration reform bill that would have secured the border. Republicans in Congress didn't move on it… The president worked out a bipartisan deal with Oklahoma Senator Lankford and Democrats in the Senate that the Senate was ready to move forward on. If the House allowed for a vote on that package‚ it would secure the border‚ provide more border patrol agents‚ and expedite those screenings.”  A lot of words to simply say‚ “we failed‚ but it’s the party’s fault.” Not that Norman noticed. A mother whose 6-year-old daughter has been missing in South Africa for almost three weeks was arrested and charged with kidnapping and selling or trafficking the girl on Thursday‚ according to the Associated Press. The recent revelations have sparked anger in the poor coastal area that the family is originally from.The authorities have called on "every citizen‚ every person" to help find six-year-old Joslin Smith. It is feared that she could have been taken to a different city or country as part of a trafficking operation. The report noted that just days after the girl's disappearance‚ neighbors in the area suggested that the mother had sold her for about $1‚000.Emotions ran high last week after the child's clothing was found thrown away near her home. There were reportedly blood stains on the clothing and a knife nearby.The AP stated that the girl's mother‚ Kelly Smith — whose full name is Racquel Chantel Smith — has been charged with kidnapping and human trafficking. Two men and one woman have also been charged in the case.One of the men involved in the horrifying case is Smith's boyfriend‚ Jacquen Appollis. Kelly claimed that she left her daughter with Appollis on February 19 while she went to work. Biden suffered a verbal gaffe during his speech on Thursday when he mispronounced Laken Riley's name as "Lincoln Riley." The 81-year-old president was pressured by Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-Ga.)‚ who yelled at Biden‚ "Say her name!"Biden responded‚ "I know how to say her name.""Lincoln — Lincoln Riley‚ an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal‚" Biden mistakenly uttered. Allyson Phillips – the mother of the 22-year-old who was murdered in a wooded area on the University of Georgia campus – slammed Biden for the verbal blunder. More than six months before Riley’s murder‚ Ibarra was reportedly arrested in New York City and charged with acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.In October 2023‚ Ibarra was arrested for shoplifting but was not turned over to ICE agents by police in Athens‚ Georgia. The city had declared itself to be a sanctuary city‚ so Ibarra was released from jail instead of being turned over to agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.Ibarra never showed up to court for the changes‚ and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
