‘Rabbit Hole’?; Doocy‚ KJP Throw Down in WILD Briefing Over Border‚ Clueless Joe

With it having been six days since the last White House press briefing‚ there was litany of topics Tuesday for the ever-inept Karine Jean-Pierre and‚ needless to say‚ she dealt with them using her trademark dodges and inability to grasp the English language.  Unsurprisingly‚ Fox’s Peter Doocy‚ Fox Business’s Edward Lawrence and New York Post’s Steven Nelson challenged Jean-Pierre while others like the taxpayer-funded Voice of America and Saudi-funded Al-Arabiya came from the left. Doocy Time started with a reality check about the administration’s kvetching about the failed border deal means little since Democrats controlled Congress and the White House for two years. In response‚ Jean-Pierre showed a delusion akin to something from Vice President Kamala Harris: DOOCY TIME: “So you guys talk a lot‚ including today‚ about how the border wouldn’t to be such a big deal if Congress would have just passed the immigration bill on day one. Who was in charge of Congress on day one?” KJP: “So‚ it’s been three years. It’s been three — three whole… pic.twitter.com/TDDPlkaQnc — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) February 6‚ 2024 Doocy’s second topic was President Biden’s latest sign of possible cognitive decline: “[H]ow is President Biden ever going to convince the three quarters of voters were worried about his physical and mental health that he is okay‚ even though in Las Vegas‚ he told the story about recently talking to a French President who died in 1996?” A disgusted Jean-Pierre shot back that she was “not even going to go down that rabbit hole with you‚ sir.” Doocy clapped back‚ repeatedly shouting at her and demanding an explanation for “what is the rabbit hole”. While trying to call on ABC’s Selina Wang‚ Jean-Pierre seemed to argue there’s nothing wrong with Biden since he’s (A) alive and (B) recently traveled to four different states. As for Wang‚ one of her questions was a softball invitation to trash The Wall Street Journal for an op-ed pointing out the rampant support of killing Jews and radical Islam in Dearborn Michigan: WATCH -- ABC White House correspondent Selina Wang invites KJP to attack the free press -- in this case‚ the @WSJOpinion section -- as “dangerous” for writing about Dearborn‚ Michigan being a hot bed of anti-Semitics‚ terrorist supporters‚ and radical Islam. KJP: “Um — so‚ look‚… pic.twitter.com/1VJIETcAbh — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) February 6‚ 2024 A few moments later‚ Bloomberg’s Justin Sink called out the White House for what’s scheduled to be another foreign leader visit to the White House (the German chancellor) without a traditional press conference and Biden skipping a Super Bowl interview as proof of him avoiding the media. Jean-Pierre’s answer was a trip as she bumbled‚ fumbled‚ and stumbled her way through a proclamation that Biden does “engag[e] with the press”. But Sink wasn’t having it and noted Biden “trails his predecessor in terms of” both “engagements” and sit-down interviews. Speaking to Sink and The Journal’s Catherine Lucey moments later‚ Jean-Pierre actually said she wouldn’t “deny the — the numbers” because Biden has instead “communicate[d] in non-traditional ways” and things like TV coverage of Super Bowl should remain focused on the game. Leftist hack Anita Powell of taxpayer-funded Voice of America went the other way with this question from the left (and a lengthy Jean-Pierre answer) insinuating black Americans dislike Israel: “What is the administration’s message to black voters who are already disillusioned over slow progress on racial justice‚ and we’re now upset over the situation in Gaza?” Al-Arabiya’s Nadia Charters followed up‚ kvetching that Arab and black voters are upset with Biden because they feel that‚ by supporting Israel‚ he’s disregarding a belief in “justice and equality and human rights.” Back to real questions‚ FBN’s Edward Lawrence had a question about the recent rash of major corporations laying off workers and then this stinging rebuke to Bidenomics: “The New York Federal Reserve just released a report today saying that Americans have $1.13 trillion in credit card debt‚ which is now another record. Is there an affordability crisis?” Jean-Pierre dismissed these struggles‚ maintaining “the data has been very clear here that wages are going up” and “consumers are spending a lot more”. Nelson wrapped the briefing and‚ after one about Tucker Carlson’s interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin‚ he seemed to trigger Jean-Pierre as he wondered whether Biden admitting there’s a crisis at the border gives legs to the notion that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas lied by having previously said the border was secure (click “expand”): NELSON: President Biden said today that the immigration system is broken and that he intends to drive home the message that‚ “the only reason the border is not secure his Donald Trump in his MAGA Republican friends.” Secretary Mayorkas repeatedly said that the border is secure and that’s one of the reasons House Republicans are trying to impeach him. Did President Biden just confirm that my Mayorkas gave Congress false information when he said that the border was secure? JEAN-PIERRE: Can I — I actually want to go back to your question? It’s a ridiculous premise and a ridiculous statement that was made about this administration. So‚ I just want to be very about — about — NELSON: [Inaudible] are saying. JEAN-PIERRE: — yes. I just want to be very‚ very clear. It’s just ridiculous. Um‚ so — going to Secretary Mayorkas for a second‚ to your second question‚ we believe what House Republicans are doing‚ and I’ve said this many times — nothing new here — it’s shameless. It’s baseless. There’s no merit for it and‚ as I have been talking about this bipartisan agreement that came together with Republicans and Democrats over the last two months — two months‚ Secretary Mayorkas was involved. He was part of that and what they’re doing is‚ you know‚ it’s all politics here. Politics. And‚ as the President said‚ our immigration system is broken and he’s repeatedly asked repeatedly asked Congress for resources to take more action and secure the border. The administration‚ as I just mentioned‚ including Secretary Mayorkas‚ negotiated in good faith with Congress‚ and we believe that that bipartisan legislation should be passed‚ should be moved forward. But what House Republicans continue — want to do is choosing to play politics instead of doing their jobs. That’s what House Republicans are doing‚ and it’s really shameful‚ as I just started saying‚ and they should focus — they should focus on‚ um‚ what multiple — and here’s the thing‚ multiple House Republicans have said this too — that — that there’s no impeachable offenses committed here. That’s what some of their colleagues have said. Just yesterday‚ Republican Congressman Ken Buck wrote an op-ed saying that “weaponizing impeachment undermines both the Constitution and the seriousness that an impeachment ought to have. That is — one of their colleagues said this. So‚ we really shouldn’t even be talking about this. We really shouldn’t. It is a political play. It is a political ploy. And we encourage these House Republicans to drop these stunts that do nothing to address the serious issues and serious concerns that the American people have‚ including immigration systems‚ including the border — NELSON: [Inaudible] mention it‚ though‚ with the President saying today that the border is not secure and Secretary Mayorkas saying under oath to Congress that it is. JEAN-PIERRE: Here’s what I will say: Secretary Mayorkas has done everything‚ um‚ that he can do‚ uh‚ and to deal with what’s going on at the border. And to deal with a broken immigration — to the point where he was part of this negotiation process that we saw the Senate — the Senate go through. The President has confidence in the secretary and I think that’s what matters. Unveiling the dark secret: Why the two-state solution was rejected

Hamas leader Khaled Mashal has boldly proclaimed his rejection of a two-state solution — but this is nothing new. Hamas has said over and over again that a two-state solution is not the way‚ but it falls on deaf ears in the United States. “We have nothing to do with the two-state solution‚” Mashal was heard saying on Memri TV. “We reject this notion‚ because it means that you would get a promise for a Palestinian state‚ yet you are required to recognize the legitimacy of the other state‚ which is the Zionist entity.” Mark Levin doesn’t believe the two-state solution is right either‚ but not for the same reasons. “In this second state‚ what exactly would it look like?” Levin asks. “It would be an armed encampment with advanced missiles‚ advanced jets‚ nuclear weapons‚ right on their border thanks to Iran.” “It would be hordes and hordes of men prepared to rush into Israel at any time at any moment and to rape and pillage because Israel would not be able to defend its border‚ because it wouldn’t have much of a border to defend when you surrender 30% of your country‚” he continues. “Israel is supposed to accept this.” Neither Israel nor Hamas want this solution‚ but Hamas’ reasoning is that they want Israel gone — and so do those who fund them. “Iran doesn’t give a damn about a two-state solution with the Palestinians‚” Levin says‚ “but Iran wants the Palestinians there‚ and so does Turkey‚ for the purpose of obliterating Israel and destroying the Jews.” Khaled Mashal has said that rather than a two-state solution‚ Hamas will agree to a completely independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and the right of return included. “This from a man who is Hitlerian‚ who is genocidal‚ and this from a man in a leadership that can’t point to a single historical‚ biblical‚ or legal justification for the so-called misnomer Palestinians to have one inch of land in the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people‚” Levin explains. Florida sniper sends attempted bank robber to the hereafter with a well-placed shot: 'A chaotic scene'

A convicted felon claiming to have a bomb held up a bank and took two hostages Tuesday in Fort Myers‚ Florida. When negotiations failed and the suspect appeared ready to slash a woman's throat‚ a SWAT sniper restored order with a well-placed shot. Shortly after 11 a.m.‚ the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a report of a robbery in progress with multiple hostages at the Bank of America in Bell Tower. Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said during a press briefing Tuesday‚ "It was a chaotic scene." A man armed with a knife and claiming to have a bomb reportedly stormed the bank and leaped over the counter. The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Sterling Ramon Alavache. The LCSO indicated that Alavache is a convicted felon with an extensive criminal history‚ including drug trafficking‚ aggravated assault‚ and unlawfully carrying a concealed firearm in various states. WZVN-TV noted that Alavache had three prior arrests just in Charlotte County. With the support of the FBI‚ the LCSO pulled out all the stops to resolve the incident‚ deploying a robotic dog‚ a SWAT team‚ electronics surveillance‚ and drones. "A group of deputies immediately went into that building ... and began to — as people‚ dozens of people ran out — they began to secure all other portions of the building while simultaneously hostage negotiations began with our suspect‚" said Marceno. New Video: Suspect dead after claiming to have explosives inside Fort Myers Bank of America at Bell Tower and US 41 in both directions has been reopened.\nhttps://t.co/JjLSmcCdiv — (@) Deputies attempted to negotiate with Alavache until he reportedly began to rough up the hostages. Marceno said that "at one point during negotiations he became physical. He started to put one of the hostages in like a headlock and he had the knife to her throat. SWAT team was in place. When he presented deadly force like that‚ our SWAT sniper shot and killed the suspect. We were in fear for her life and safety." Both hostages and all deputies apparently escaped the ordeal unscathed. Authorities did not confirm whether or not Alavache did in fact have an explosive device on his person. "It's a sad day when innocent lives are placed in jeopardy due to the senseless acts of others‚" the sheriff said in a subsequent statement. "My family members were faced with a tough decision today to neutralize an active threat to the public‚ during a very volatile situation. Let this serve as a reminder of how important it is to remain vigilant." The LCSO confirmed to WZVN that the sniper who made the lethal shot at the bank has been placed on administrative leave per protocol. Like Blaze News? 'Not a woke company': Trump backs Bud Light as beer brand drops star-studded Super Bowl commercial

Bud Light released a new Super Bowl commercial featuring its biggest spokesmen on the same day that President Donald Trump expressed his support for the brand.Still attempting to recover from its 2023 marketing fiasco with alleged transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney‚ Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light received support from the 45th president.Commenting on his platform Truth Social‚ Trump called Bud Light's failed promotion a "mistake of epic proportions" for which a "very big price was paid."Indeed‚ Bud Light lost billions and its parent company's stock tumbled‚ but Trump asked if the brand deserved another chance."Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company ... [it] spends $700 Million a year with our GREAT Farmers‚ employ 65 thousand Americans‚ of which 1‚500 are Veterans‚ and is a Founding Corporate Partner of Folds of Honor‚ which provides Scholarships for families of fallen Servicemen &; Women‚" Trump stated. "Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps deserves a Second Chance? What do you think? Perhaps‚ instead‚ we should be going after those companies that are looking to DESTROY AMERICA‚" he added.Trump's endorsement may be tied to his reported significant investment in Anheuser-Busch InBev‚ however. According to data reviewed by the Independent in 2023‚ the former president owned between $1 and $5 million in stock under an account called "DJT Trust — Investment Account #2."Business Insider noted the same‚ citing a 100-page disclosure form filed with the Federal Election Commission on April 14‚ 2023.The positive words also came at the same time Anheuser-Busch lobbyist Jeff Miller was set to host a fundraiser for Trump. As reported by MSN‚ the beer giant paid Miller's firm $260‚000 in 2023.The fundraiser for Trump has a $10‚000 ticket price and reportedly features members of Congress and Republican leaders. The same day‚ Bud Light released what is most likely its most expensive commercial in recent history. Employing a galaxy of personalities‚ the ad featured Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning‚ a longtime supporter of the brand who has mentioned it in victory speeches. As well‚ musician Post Malone made an appearance. The star has publicly drunk the beer for years‚ even on episodes of Joe Rogan's podcast. UFC President Dana White was yet another big star in the ad. White is fresh off his public recommendation of the brand after re-signing a prominent sponsorship deal between the beer brand and the UFC. Filthy rich? Done. One REALLY big bicep? Yes. An epic night out with Peyton Manning‚ @postmalone &; @danawhite? The Bud Light Genie\u2019s here in our Super Bowl LVIII commercial to make it happen — (@) Trump's comments echoed White's from October 2023 when the fight promoter was asked how fans would react to a partnership with the recently shamed brand."For Anheuser-Busch it was about values‚ core values for me. I'm at a point in my life and I'm at a point in my career where nothing is just about money any more‚" White told reporters."Almost a billion dollars a year go to U.S. farmers for their crops‚ for their products; that is right up my alley‚ that's exactly who I am‚" White listed. "65‚000 Americans are employed by Anheuser-Busch‚ and thousands of them are vets; right up my alley‚" he added.Seemingly the only person missing from the Bud Light commercial was newly signed comedian Shane Gillis. Gillis too is a noted Bud Light consumer‚ drinking the beer on many of his podcast appearances.Gillis became a fan favorite for his lack of censorship‚ knowledge of history‚ and of course his impression of Trump. While Bud Light has certainly amped up its efforts to win customers back‚ the company still has not issued an apology that resonated. An April 2023 statement by Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth fell flat when he stated the company "never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people.""We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer‚" he added. The company did not address any of consumers' concerns surrounding the promotion of gender dysphoria.Like Blaze News? KJP gets angry when Peter Doocy asks the obvious question about Biden's cognitive health after latest alarming incident

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre showed her displeasure on Tuesday when confronted about President Joe Biden's cognitive health. On Sunday‚ Biden raised eyebrows when he told a crowd in Las Vegas that he spoke with François Mitterrand after winning the presidency. But that's impossible because Mitterrand‚ the former French president‚ died almost 30 years ago in 1996. The White House later edited the official transcript of Biden's speech to show the president meant to say "Macron‚" a reference to the current president of France‚ Emmanuel Macron. At the press briefing‚ Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre how this latest incident fits with the narrative that Biden is mentally healthy."How is President Biden ever gonna convince the three-quarters of voters who are worried about his physical and mental health that he is OK even though in Las Vegas he recently told a story about talking to a French president who died in 1996?" Doocy asked. The question clearly angered Jean-Pierre."I'm not even gonna go down that rabbit hole with you‚ sir‚" she responded‚ trying to move on to a different reporter."Why? What is the rabbit hole?" Doocy followed up. "He said he talked to Mitterrand."Jean-Pierre incoherently responded‚ "You saw the president in Vegas‚ in California. You’ve seen the president in South Carolina‚ you saw him in Michigan. I’ll just leave it there."And with that‚ Jean-Pierre cut off Doocy and refused to allow him any further questions. — (@) Perhaps Jean-Pierre's fuse was shorter on Tuesday because of the question that Doocy asked just prior to confronting her about the Mitterrand incident. In that query‚ Doocy dismantled the Biden administration's narrative that congressional Republicans bear responsibility for the border crisis."You guys talk a lot about how the border wouldn't be such a big deal if Congress would've just passed your immigration bill on Day 1. Who was in charge of Congress on Day 1?" he asked. If Jean-Pierre had answered the question honestly‚ she would have had to admit that Democrats controlled Congress for the first two years of Biden's presidency. Unfortunately‚ she didn't take that route but instead continued to blame Republicans."So the Democrats who were charge the first two years — no responsibility?" Doocy follow up."I'm not saying that Democrats have not been in control the first two years. ... I'm saying House Republicans have gotten in the way — they have!" Jean-Pierre responded. Boeing plane with mid-flight panel blowout may have left factory missing critical bolts: Report

The Boeing 737 9 MAX airplane that experienced a mid-flight door panel blowout last month may have left the factory without key bolts‚ according to the United States National Transportation Safety Board's preliminary report. In January‚ an Alaska Airlines flight headed to California from Oregon was forced to make an emergency landing when an exit door panel blew out. As a result of the terrifying incident‚ all Boeing 737 9 MAX planes were grounded for several weeks pending quality control inspections. Alaska Airlines and United Airlines reported finding loose bolts on several planes. The door panel that blew off mid-flight was designed to be held in place by four bolts and 12 "stop fittings." The safety board's initial investigation found that the bolts appeared to be missing. "Once the plug is in place‚ it is secured from moving vertically by a total of four bolts‚" the Tuesday report explained. "Overall‚ the observed damage patterns and absence of contact damage or deformation around holes associated with the vertical movement arrestor bolts and upper guide track bolts in the upper guide fittings‚ hinge fittings‚ and recovered aft lower hinge guide fitting indicate that the four bolts that prevent upward movement of the [mid exit door] plug were missing before the MED plug moved upward off the stop pads."According to the NTSB‚ Spirit AeroSystems‚ a former Boeing subsidiary‚ had previously removed the door plug in September to fix damaged rivets."Photo documentation obtained from Boeing shows evidence of the left-hand MED plug closed with no retention hardware (bolts) in the three visible locations‚" the report continued. "The investigation continues to determine what manufacturing documents were used to authorize the opening and closing of the left MED plug during the rivet rework.""When was the last time those bolts were installed?" asked U.S. aviation safety expert John Cox‚ Reuters reported. "Did Spirit not install them and then when Boeing opened it the guys didn't realize that they didn't have the bolts? Or did Boeing not install them? That is something that I don't think we have an answer for yet."Jennifer Homendy‚ chair of the NTSB‚ told CNN that a similar incident could happen again."Of course‚ something like this can happen again‚" Homendy said Wednesday. "This is the reason the NTSB exists to ensure this never happens again.""There is no way that this plane should have been delivered with four safety-critical bolts missing‚" she added. "There's a problem in the process. We're not just digging into what's going on at Boeing. We're also digging to FAA's oversight of Boeing as well. I'm very encouraged by the administrator's comments."Boeing's shareholders have since filed a lawsuit against the aircraft company‚ claiming that its "serious safety lapses" and "poor quality control" measures led to the terrifying incident‚ which ultimately prompted a dip in stock prices. Shareholders accused Boeing of prioritizing profits over safety. In a recent statement‚ Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun said‚ "Whatever final conclusions are reached‚ Boeing is accountable for what happened. An event like this must not happen on an airplane that leaves our factory.""We simply must do better for our customers and their passengers‚" he added.Like Blaze News?
