Teamsters President and lifelong Democrat Sean O’Brien might be switching teams. “I’ll be honest with you. I’m a Democrat. But they have f***ed us over for the last 40 years,” O’Brien tells comedian Theo Von. “For once, we’re standing up as a union. Probably the only one right now saying, ‘What the f*** have you done for us?'" Now, O’Brien is “getting attacked from the left” for taking a stand — despite ensuring that money got into the Democrats' hands. “Since I’ve been in office, two and a half years, we’ve given the Democratic machine $15.7 million. We’ve given Republicans about $340,000, truth be told,” he tells Von. “People say the Democratic Party is the party of the working people. They’re bought and paid for by Big Tech.” “You’ve got the Republicans who are now saying, ‘Hey, we want to be the working-class party,’” he continues. “You’ve got a great opportunity right now to do that, and the Democrats, if 60% of our members aren’t supporting you, the f***ing system’s broken. Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker appeared to indicate he would vote for former President Donald Trump while appearing on Fox News on Thursday. Butker was endorsing Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Ohio when he was asked whether he would also endorse Trump.Leftists immediately excoriated Butker as a racist and misogynist. "I'm supporting the president that's going to be the most pro-life president," he responded. "That's the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn. That's what we should prioritize." When asked a second time if he was voting for Trump, he again responded in a roundabout way. "I think you have to vote for whoever is going to be the most pro-life," the kicker said. Butker became a target of the left and a darling of the right after he endorsed more traditional roles for women and men during a graduation speech at Benedictine College, a small Catholic school, in May. He also interjected other conservative values into his speech. “I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you,” Butker said. “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.” Leftists immediately excoriated Butker as a racist and misogynist while those on the right praised him for speaking out on traditional values. Despite the hateful rhetoric on social media, Butker merchandise skyrocketed in sales soon afterward. In August, the Chiefs made Butker the highest-paid NFL kicker of all time. Trump has said he would oppose a national ban on abortion, but he has taken credit for putting justices on the Supreme Court that led to the overturn of Roe vs. Wade. A Wisconsin elementary school staff member has been accused of sexual misconduct against a student under the age of 13 as well as three other felonies, including possessing child porn. The Sensitive Crime Unit of the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday began an investigation into 33-year-old Anna-Marie Crocker of Salem. Investigators suspect the Riverview Elementary School staffer of sexual misconduct involving a "current and former student of the school."'It just blows my mind that something like this would happen at this school.'The sheriff's department said in a statement: "We are early in the investigation but have determined the alleged misconduct did not occur during school hours or on school property."Crocker was charged with four felonies: first-degree child sex assault with a person under 13, exposing genitals/intimate parts to a child, child sexual exploitation, and possession of child pornography, the sheriff's department said.The sheriff's department added that the investigation is ongoing and more charges may be coming. School officials said they are cooperating with police on the sexual misconduct case: "We remain in contact with local law enforcement to support their ongoing investigation."Sheriff David W. Zoerner also said, "In light of these events, we want to remind everyone in the community about the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all individuals. It is crucial to be vigilant and report any concerning behavior to the appropriate authorities. Additionally, we encourage open communication and support for those impacted by such distressing news. Let’s work together to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our community."New Riverview School District Administrator Kim Taylor sent a letter to parents regarding the teacher's arrest."We understand that this situation can be difficult for our students, families, and staff to process," Taylor stated. "Please know that our school counselors are here and ready to provide support as needed. We strongly encourage any students who need some extra help to visit the counseling office at any time — they are here for you."Taylor said the news of Crocker's arrest for possible child sex crimes was "distressing." A parent of a student at the school said she was "disgusted" over the possible teacher sex scandal. Another parent told WITI-TV, "It just blows my mind that something like this would happen at this school. My heart just sunk. It fell. We're still trying to deal with it."Crocker reportedly started as a substitute teacher at the school in 2020 and became a full-time educational assistant the following year. Crocker no longer is listed as a staff member on the Riverview Elementary School website.
