How to raise Story Score in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League

As you play through the storyline of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League‚ you’ll increase your story score and climb the online leaderboards‚ making all your friends jealous of your progress. Story score doesn’t always work as expected‚ though‚ so how do you increase it and what does it represent? What is Story Score in Suicide Squad KTJL? Story score is a number that represents your progress through the main storyline of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It’s meant to be a quick way for other players to determine how many chapters you’ve completed‚ how strong your characters are‚ and how many side quests you’ve done. It’s not strictly related to main campaign progress. You can still be very far in the story and have a low story score if you ignore side missions and don’t level up your characters‚ for example‚ or you can be in the opening chapters of the game and amass a high story score by completing Riddler challenges and S...

How many Tartarus floors are in Persona 3 Reload? All blocks listed

Instead of multiple dungeons‚ Persona 3 Reload features one long mega dungeon called Tartarus. Climbing the floors of this seemingly never-ending tower is a core part of the game‚ but just how high does Tartarus go? As you explore Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload‚ you’ll encounter new blocks with wildly different visual styles and all-new enemies to fight. Your progress will also occasionally be blocked by barriers that won’t open up until later in the story‚ so you won’t truly know where Tartarus ends until the end of the game. How Long is Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload? Screenshot: PC Invasion Still‚ it’s good to have a general idea of how many floors there are in Tartarus so you can plan your schedule and know how long you’ll need to grind in between the classes and Social Link hangouts. There are 264 floors in Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload. You’ll clear all 264 floors by the end of the game‚ and it’s a good idea to knock out roughly 30...

The Most Notable (And Notorious) Women Of The Wild West

If you thought the men in the Wild West were tough‚ just wait until you hear about the women of the era. From owning their own businesses to out-smarting thieves‚ women of the Wild West were not to be trifled with. They used their bravery and intelligence to prove themselves just as capable as men‚ and in some cases even pretended to be men so they could vote or fight in battle. Source

Why Biden Is Threatening to Veto Aid to Israel

Why Biden Is Threatening to Veto Aid to Israel

President Joe Biden promised to veto any stand-alone aid bill for Israel‚ and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and most House Democrats voted against one. The administration maintains that Israel’s security is so “sacred‚” it must be tied to a doomed legislative package containing entirely unrelated issues that deal with border security and Ukrainian aid. Which‚ of course‚ makes absolutely zero sense. Does anyone believe that the president would veto a stand-alone bill for Ukrainian aid? Or what about a stand-alone bill for “humanitarian” aid to Palestinians? Color me skeptical. Now‚ a stand-alone border security bill? That he’d definitely veto. Priorities‚ you see. In the years before former President Barack Obama‚ a vote to help a longtime ally against a proxy terror army that—not incidentally—murdered 30-plus American citizens would have been a no-brainer. Today‚ a Democrat who takes an unrepentantly pro-Israel position puts himself in a precarious position. Biden is free to play games with Israeli aid because there will be no political repercussions. Most Democrats don’t really care anymore. And those who do are in the pro-Hamas wing—whether openly or functionally. “Forget No Labels. Biden’s Third-Party Peril is on the Left‚” warns Politico. Numerous polls‚ writes Jonathan Martin‚ find that young leftists are angry about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Not the mass rape and murder of civilians‚ mind you‚ but Israel’s efforts to root out the attackers. Many of these people are socialist ideologues‚ many are identitarian dimwits‚ and others are just antisemites. Some‚ like members of “the Squad‚” are all of the above. Whatever the case‚ they are always “angry” at Israel. These are the people who were demanding “cease-fires” before Israel had even begun retaliating for Oct 7. Still‚ the situation remains something of a balancing act for Biden. There are still enough Jewish Democrats and independents who feel a historic kinship with Israel. Enough that the president doesn’t attack Israel unequivocally. Like Obama before him‚ Biden uses Benjamin Netanyahu as a strawman‚ framing the prime minister as some kind of warmongering fascist. Here’s a little-known reality: Right or Left‚ Netanyahu or someone else‚ no Israeli prime minister would act any differently in Gaza. Israeli voters rightly demand it. Just as it would have been impossible to lead the United States after 9/11 on a plank that gave al-Qaeda a pass‚ it would be impossible to hold power in Israel and allow Hamas to continue to operate next door. In any event‚ Biden acts like a statesman in public but simultaneously leaks angry quotes about Netanyahu to placate the growing anti-Israel Left. Recently‚ for example‚ we learned that Biden supposedly called Israel’s prime minister a “bad f—ing guy.” (Notice that Democrats have tougher words for Israelis than they ever do for mullahs who murder Americans.) This leak reminded me of the time in 2014 when Obama’s stenographer Jeffrey Goldberg “reported” that White House officials referred to Netanyahu as “chickens–t.” Now‚ I don’t mean to demean people like Ben Rhodes‚ who survived a creative writing MFA program at New York University‚ but Netanyahu did serve in the Israel Defense Forces‚ saw combat‚ and led a special force unit that specialized in freeing hijacked planes. Netanyahu was shot in one of these operations. So‚ I’m going to go out on a limb and say he’s less of a coward than anonymous White House officials. Certainly‚ he is a better “guy” than the gaggle of Rob Malley types the president surrounds himself with. A few weeks ago‚ good guy Biden was accusing Israel of engaging in “indiscriminate bombing‚” which he knows is a lie. “Like everyone in the administration and any Democrat with a pulse‚” Politico explains‚ Biden is “deeply suspicious of Benjamin Netanyahu.” The president’s “deep-seated fear‚” we learn‚ is that Netanyahu “is eager to drag the U.S. into a wider war in the Middle East.” This is the favorite blood libel of radical Democrats and far-right influencers. They must be quite excited to hear that the president is no longer “hypnotized” by Israel’s evil‚ as Rep. Ilhan Omar might say. That said‚ the United States has no obligation to assist any nation—not even a longtime ally that shares our objectives and values. I suspect Democrats are probably a couple of presidential cycles away from turning entirely against Israel. Still‚ it is peculiar that the same people who are purportedly terrified of being dragged into a Middle East war by Israel have no deep-seated fears about the perils of funding a war against a nuclear power in Europe. On the contrary‚ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy‚ who runs a country far more authoritarian (not to mention corrupt) than Netanyahu’s Israel‚ is treated as the sainted defender of democracy by Washington and the media. It’s almost as if the arguments being used by Democrats to distance themselves from Israel don’t really make any sense. How Can Americans Rid Themselves of a Potentially Senile President? Looking at 4 Options.

An “elderly man with a poor memory.” That line and many others from special counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents released on Thursday now hang over his presidency. From not remembering when he was vice president to forgetting when his term ended to failing to come up with the year his son Beau died‚ “even within several years‚” the report paints a disturbing picture of a man in severe mental decline. Hur’s description of Biden’s mental state may have been used to justify not prosecuting the president for his illegal mishandling of classified documents‚ but it can hardly give Americans confidence in the man now running for a second presidential term. If Biden is like this‚ it’s fair to ask who is actually running the executive branch? Despite all the efforts by the Biden administration and its sycophantic media to cover for the president‚ questions about Biden’s fitness for office are now out in the open and impossible to dismiss. Given Biden’s angry‚ combative‚ and hardly reassuring press conference on Thursday evening following the release of the report that included even more bizarre mental lapses‚ it seems the president is unlikely to resign. Questions are now being asked: What can be done to remove a president unfit for office? Here’s my rundown of four options that have been floated to remove Biden. 25th Amendment Using the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office has been the option most discussed following the release of the special prosecutor’s documents. A few Republican lawmakers have already demanded that Biden’s cabinet invoke this potential remedy. I agree with @RepLuna—the fact that President Biden is suffering from serious cognitive issues is a significant threat to national security. His cabinet members need to invoke the 25th Amendment. If they don’t‚ they—and he—should be impeached. We don’t need this. https://t.co/spYNOXRiR2— Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) February 9‚ 2024 Merrick Garland has a duty to invoke the 25th Amendment to his fellow Cabinet members. Or prosecute Biden. If he won’t prosecute‚ then invoke the 25th now— Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) February 9‚ 2024 The numbers are growing. Though so far‚ no Democrats have made similar 25th Amendment or resignation calls. Democrat politicians along with news commentators and anchors on corporate media news channels relentlessly talked about using this amendment to produce something like a deus ex machina to remove President Donald Trump from office. Of course‚ 25th Amendment analyses from serious-sounding Ivy League doctors discussing the president’s unfitness for office have notably disappeared from CNN’s programing now that Biden occupies the White House. So‚ what exactly is the 25th Amendment? The states ratified it in 1967 following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy after questions were raised about what to do in instances where a president is incapacitated. In an age in which communication is instant and a president is expected to be able to make large‚ potentially world-changing decisions on a moment’s notice‚ it seemed like there needed to be some kind of mechanism to ensure that the country always had a chief executive. The 25th Amendment allows the vice president and the Cabinet to submit to Congress their recommendation that the president is unfit for duty and the vice president must step in immediately to take up the president’s responsibilities. Here is the critical Section 4: Whenever the vice president and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide‚ transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office‚ the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as acting president. Putting this into effect requires a two-thirds vote by both houses of Congress if the president disputes the opinion of the cabinet members. The 25th Amendment has been used on a few occasions. Presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush used it when they had medical operations that would leave them incapacitated for several hours. The problem is that the 25th Amendment is more of a Band-Aid for an acute problem rather than a permanent solution. Given Biden’s long-term decline‚ is it likely that his cabinet members and Democrats in Congress are now going to sign off on a permanent removal a year before an election? It’s worth noting that one of the people making this decision would be Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin‚ a man who suddenly disappeared for a few days in January to get cancer treatments without notifying the president or pretty much anyone else in the executive branch. Impeachment Another solution to presidential unfitness for office that’s been floated is impeachment. In a certain sense‚ there is a lower threshold to impeach a president than to remove him through the 25th Amendment. It requires a two-thirds vote in the Senate to convict the president but only a majority vote in the House to impeach him and send it to the Senate for trial. The hurdle in this case comes down to the necessary requisite of the president committing “high crimes and misdemeanors.” Declining mental acuity doesn’t seem to fit this standard. That‚ of course‚ doesn’t mean that Biden couldn’t be otherwise impeached. The question of his handling of classified documents remains highly problematic. The special counsel’s testimony hardly exonerated Biden. Hur concluded that “President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.” In addition‚ the House is still considering impeachment over his potential involvement with his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings‚ among other charges. So‚ impeaching Biden would come down to the House investigations into potential illegal activity and the political will to vote the president out. Mental Fitness Test This is a more novel—and I’d argue toothless—suggestion to deal with Biden’s infirmities. In 2020‚ then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called for Congress to create a panel to conduct a medical exam that would “determine whether the President is mentally or physically unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office.” At the time‚ Pelosi and Rep. Jamie Raskin‚ D-Md.‚ argued that they weren’t doing this simply to attack Trump but to make sure aging presidents can keep doing their job. “The population is getting older; politicians are getting older‚” Raskin said in an interview when he proposed the legislation. “It’s not hard to think that there will be future situations where the president’s physical and mental state may create issues for us. So‚ we just need to make sure that we have a structure and a process in place to address it.” Raskin commented on Hur’s report this week only to say that he thinks that there are essential differences between “presidents or vice presidents like Joe Biden who occasionally behaved in sloppy ways with respect to where they were taking documents” and Trump. He made no comment about Biden’s mental state‚ nor did he propose bringing back his proposed medical examination panel. One way or another‚ the proposal is generally pointless‚ as Heritage legal scholar Hans von Spakovsky noted back in 2020. “There is no need to change the current procedures that already exist under the 25th Amendment. This bill is nothing more than a political stunt and a waste of time‚” he wrote. Election The last solution for removing a failing president from office is perhaps the most mundane one: an election. While Biden has clearly avoided cameras and public appearances more than other recent presidents‚ he’s also demonstrated clear signs of severe decline beyond his long history of verbal gaffes. That’s something Americans will have to consider in the November election. Biden could resign tomorrow. His staff could conclude he’s incapable of going on. Congress could go along with his cabinet’s suggestion or separately impeach him. If the president is unable to handle his duties‚ then for the sake of the country‚ he should leave office. Unfortunately‚ our elected officials often don’t do what’s in the best interest of their country. So‚ it’s ultimately up to the American people to decide whether they think the president is fit or unfit. Have an opinion about this article? Virginia Bill Abetting ‘Profit-Driven Industry’ of Death‚ Critics Warn

Critics raised the alarm as the Virginia Senate passed a bill Friday that would legalize assisted suicide‚ otherwise known as “medical aid in dying.” Based on the bill’s language‚ it would permit doctors to give their terminally ill patients a “self-administered controlled substance” to end their lives. The bill passed the Senate 21-19. While supporters say the legislation offers a compassionate alternative to “lingering death” for those with terminal diagnoses‚ critics warn that such laws are ripe for abuse‚ as governments‚ health insurance companies‚ and even family members may pressure vulnerable people to end their lives prematurely to save money on medical expenses. “Virginia’s bill SB280 offers no real protection for vulnerable patients‚” the National Association of Pro-Life Nurses told The Daily Signal in an emailed statement. “Instead‚ it embraces a profit-driven industry that seeks to exploit patient suffering. This extreme‚ out-of-touch legislation erodes the trust of the heath care profession.” The association said its members “strongly oppose any legislation that undermines the patient-provider relationship.” Virginia Catholic Bishops Michael Burbidge of Arlington and Barry Knestout of Richmond said in an official statement they were “alarmed and deeply saddened” by the bill’s introduction. The faith leaders condemned the bill‚ saying that assisted suicide “facilitates tragedies and makes the most vulnerable even more vulnerable. Legalizing it would place the lives of people with disabilities‚ people with mental illnesses‚ the elderly‚ and those unable to afford health care—among others—at heightened risk of deadly harm.” The legislation requires patients to request their assisted suicide orally twice and once in writing with the opportunity to rescind their request at any time. It also “grants immunity from civil and/or criminal liability” to those who comply with the bill‚ such as medical professionals and patients’ family members. “Society is on the wrong track when the public policy goal is to eliminate those who might suffer rather than address their needs‚” Kristi Hamrick‚ spokeswoman for the national pro-life organization Students for Life Action‚ told The Daily Signal in an emailed statement. “Students for Life Action supports protections for life from conception to natural death.” Hamrick said. “It’s clear that when people become ill or face prejudice for perceptions of their abilities‚ precious lives can be lost.” Proponents of the bill hailed the legislation’s advancement. Barbara Green‚ a Virginia resident with metastatic pancreatic cancer‚ said in a statement with nonprofit Compassion &; Choices‚ that she was “grateful” to the bill’s sponsor‚ Sen. Ghazala Hashmi‚ D-Chesterfield‚ for her work on this “urgently needed legislation for terminally ill Virginians.” “I plead with House members to approve this bill‚” Green added. “I should not have to leave Virginia to go to Washington‚ D.C.‚ to achieve bodily autonomy. I do not see how anyone who has watched a loved one suffer through a lingering death could vote against this compassionate legislation.” The district legalized assisted suicide in 2017. “Virginia voters will be grateful to lawmakers for showing compassion and love by passing this legislation and providing their dying loved ones with the option to avoid needless suffering‚” Melissa Stacy‚ northeast advocacy manager for Compassion &; Choices Action Network‚ said in a press release. Stacy added that she trusts members of the Virginia House of Delegates to “hear the voices of Barbara Green and many other Virginians who desperately want and need the option of medical aid in dying.” The bill’s sponsors did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time. Notre Dame’s Silence on Abortion Doula ‘Displays the Rot‚’ Catholic Critic Says

The Catholic University of America and the University of Notre Dame both hosted an “abortion doula” on campus‚ but the two Roman Catholic schools responded to the backlash in starkly different manners.   Catholic University fired the host professor within 24 hours of The Daily Signal’s report on an abortion doula’s lecture to one of the school’s nursing classes.   But Notre Dame has yet to apologize for hosting a self-identified abortion doula who also identifies as transgender who spoke at an online event in March 2023.  Catholic University psychology professor Melissa Goldberg invited abortion doula Rachel Carbonneau to speak to her “Lifespan Development” class about coaching women through abortions and “pregnant men” through a “seahorse birth.”  Referring to Goldberg‚ Catholic University President Peter Kilpatrick announced Jan. 30 that the school “terminated our contract with the professor who invited the speaker” after obtaining “clear evidence that the content of the class did not align with our mission and identity.”   In March‚ Notre Dame hosted abortion doula Ash Williams over Zoom for the school’s livestreamed event‚ “Trans Care + Abortion Care: Intersections and Questions‚” part of a series titled “Reproductive Justice.”   During the Notre Dame event‚ Williams‚ a woman who identifies as a man‚ referred to abortion as “a type of birth.”   “Abortion and birth could be binary‚ but I believe that it is a binary worth busting‚ just like man and woman‚” Williams told participants.  Patrick Reilly‚ president of the nonprofit Cardinal Newman Society‚ founded to promote and defend what it calls faithful Catholic education‚ told The Daily Signal in an email that both incidents are examples of bowing to a “toxic culture.”  “Such scandals should never happen in Catholic education‚ and it’s to CUA’s credit that it fully acknowledges this‚” Reilly said‚ “whereas Notre Dame couldn’t admit the mistake even after being publicly scolded by its bishop.”   “In today’s toxic culture‚ every Catholic school and college needs to be serious about hiring employees who are faithful witnesses to Catholic teaching‚” he said‚ adding:  “CUA’s incident was caused by a lone professor‚ who was quickly fired. But Notre Dame’s official sponsorship of the doula lecture and subsequent snubbing of Bishop Rhoades—one of many such snubbings—displays the rot that is at the heart of Notre Dame.” Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend‚ Indiana‚ publicly criticized Notre Dame’s abortion doula event at the time.   Merlot Fogarty‚ a senior at the University of Notre Dame and incoming law student at Catholic University‚ shared her thoughts with The Daily Signal regarding the events.   “Abortion has never been up for debate for the Catholic Church‚ Fogarty‚ president of the Notre Dame Right to Life Club‚ said. “The intentional taking of an innocent human life is always wrong.”  Referring to Notre Dame‚ she said: “Hosting an ‘abortion doula’ is contrary to everything the church teaches about the dignity of human life and the role we have in protecting the most vulnerable.”   But students‚ alumni‚ and others who were concerned about the event “received no comment from the administration‚” Fogarty said‚ and “the series that seven Notre Dame departments were hosting continued to host events contrary to Catholic teaching and without representing the Catholic Church.”   Fogarty also contrasted the University of Notre Dame with The Catholic University of America‚ saying:  “CUA said they are ‘recommunicating the terms and expectations by which all outside speakers are vetted and invited‚’ while Notre Dame let the Gender Studies Department host a drag show… CUA is making a bold statement about the truth of the human person and the truth of the Catholic faith‚ while Notre Dame continues to cave to the left-shifting ‘middle ground‚’ forgetting her Catholic roots and commitment to the pursuit of truth.” Fogarty also contrasted the responses of Catholic University’s president‚ Kilpatrick‚ with Notre Dame’s president‚ John Jenkins.   “I only wish Father Jenkins were as bold as Peter Kilpatrick in extinguishing the zeal of progressive professors whose goal is to steer the university‚ and human souls‚ off their true path‚” she said.  Have an opinion about this article?
