I truly believe I’m damaged for life! In his post‚ Jackson criticized the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s department of attempting to cover up the incident by refusing to release the body cam footage of the incident. Jackson also claims once he was taken to the courthouse for booking‚ he sat in a cell “for hours” before he was eventually released and told he wouldn’t be facing any charges. Hernandez resigned last month after an internal investigation into his use of force determined it “was not objectively reasonable.” Okaloosa County Sheriff Eric Aden released a video message last Friday urging people to read the 44-page internal investigations report into the incident‚ adding he was thankful Jackson wasn’t harmed and saying he was sorry over the incident.
