A bizarre and disturbing work of “art” prominently displayed at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) recent summit in Davos‚ Switzerland has gone viral. Article by Ava Grace‚ republished with permission from Naturalnews.com The mural dubbed the Walthamstow Tapestry was made in 2009 by Grayson Perry‚ a cross-dressing contemporary artist. Depicted in the style of cave paintings and hieroglyphs‚ it chronicles the life journey of a man from birth until death – replete with personified corporations he encountered along the way. The tapestry begins with the birth of a baby along a river of blood that eventually flows into the waiting mouth of the Devil‚ ending in the death of an old man. “I’ve always been interested in the pilgrimage‚ in the journey and the idea of the journey through life‚” Perry said in 2012 while at the Victoria Miro Gallery in London‚ when asked about the tapestry. “And then I thought about: Is this the kind of shopping trip of life? The kind of glossy‚ sort of meaningless trek from one department store to another that is modern Western consumerism.” According to a write-up about the tapestry‚ it’s design “brings to mind its most famous medieval precursor – the Bayeaux Tapestry.” The work is also replete with mentions of brand names including Coca-Cola‚ the Sotheby’s auction house‚ Red Bull energy drink‚ Aldi supermarket and the BBC. The tapestry’s existence was divulged by journalist Larry Alex Taunton‚ who went undercover at the WEF summit in Davos. According to him‚ the said artwork was featured at the summit’s dining hall. “These bleak and death-themed works of art are just the kind these elites love to surround themselves with‚” InfoWars commented. Social media users comment on the tapestry Following Taunton’s expose‚ the tapestry gained a lot of attention on social media. Several users put in their two cents on the satanic art piece. “Why would they put [that] up as a decoration?” asked user @ErikaLLJ on X. “You’d think it would make some attendees get a clue. So oddly blatant.” User @NotTinaKotex remarked: “How much did all these [corporations] pay for that product placement?” Their comments came as a response to a post by user @JebraFaushay‚ who challenged “all culture and art critics” to analyze the tapestry. The history of Eugen’s relationship with Nazism in general is complex‚ but there is no substantive evidence of ties to high-ranking German leadership‚ particularly Hitler. A fact check published by accredited German journalists dpa used Denazifaction records to uncover that Eugen Schwab was a member of some National Socialist organizations‚ but that alone does not prove any relationship to German high command or a belief in Nazi ideology. While the Escher Wyss branch in Ravensburg‚ Germany‚ (which Eugen managed) used prisoners of war and forced laborers‚ it is not clear whether the company was forced to do so by the Nazis or because of a lack of workers. Similarly‚ while Escher Wyss made a turbine for a Norwegian hydroelectric power station used in the construction of an experimental reactor for military-use plutonium‚ whether the Ravensburg branch did so as well is not clear. The timeline stated that her ex-husband had the assistance of law enforcement in stalking her‚ ultimately abducting her and her two children from a New York domestic violence shelter. The timeline also stated that her children had remained kidnapped since 2019. Johnson was not named in the timeline. A statement of facts at the beginning of the lawsuit didn’t directly name Johnson‚ but did claim that the defendants named in the lawsuit collectively conspired to kidnap her and her children. According to Cornell Law School’s Legal Information Institute‚ conspiracy is “an agreement between two or more people to commit an illegal act‚ along with an intent to achieve the agreement’s goal.” In order to prove conspiracy in most U.S. jurisdictions‚ an overt act‚ or an action that shows someone has committed a crime‚ is also required. Claims Made About Johnson Related to the Lawsuit The TikTok referenced above also included footage that claimed Johnson had appeared on “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) as himself saying he had created a “child molesting robot.” The TikTok also claimed Johnson had said that he “ate children” in an interview. Another TiKTok also linked to the SNL sketch and the lawsuit. It is true that Johnson appeared in a “Saturday Night Live” sketch titled “World’s Most Evil Invention” that aired on May 20‚ 2017. In the sketch‚ he played a mad scientist named Roy who created a child-molesting robot. The other claim (that Johnson said he ate children) came from an interview Johnson did to promote his movie “Skyscraper” with the movie’s director Rawson Marshall Thurber‚ Indonesian entertainer Deddy Corbuzier‚ and his son in 2018. The Jakarta News reported that Corbuzier asked about what Johnson’s secret was after noting his body looked very large. Disney blog Inside the Magic also wrote about the lawsuit‚ publishing a post titled‚ “Dwayne Johnson Axed From Disney Franchise Amid $3 Billion Lawsuit‚” linking the lawsuit to the claim that Johnson would not be joining the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
