Final battle over Mariupol started

FOREIGN. At around 2 pm Swedish time, Russia began its final attack on Azovstal, the iron and steel plant in Mariupol, where the last Ukrainian troops are being detained.
Russia demanded a complete capitulation from the remaining troops of just over 300 people no later than 12.00 today, but that did not happen and now they will be killed instead.
"The only way for them to save their lives is to lay down their arms," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Russia claims that radio interceptions show that 367 Ukrainian soldiers are stuck in a hopeless situation in the steelworks without food and water, but that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly rejected their request to surrender to Russia. If they surrender, they will be executed by Ukraine, the message has been according to Russian information.

FOREIGN. Left-wing activists at the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) are now accusing Marine Le Pen and some colleagues of using EU funds for their own purposes.
