An Ancient Merger Put The Milky Way’s Supermassive Black Hole In A Spin

The event would have released an epic gravitational wave we sadly were not around to measure – even the Sun didn’t exist at the time.

Editor’s Pick: NY Post’s Taer on Venezuelan Gang Members Released in Colorado

While ABC, CBS, and NBC have still yet to cover the rise of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua setting up shop in U.S. cities (thanks to the Biden-Harris border policies) on their flagship morning and evening shows, the New York Post has been on it every step of the way and, on Friday, their indefatigable Jennie Taer revealed two suspected TDA gang members have been released from custody in Aurora, Colorado. Taer noted that a 20-year-old and his 19-year-old brother were originally “busted in connection with an attempted murder” back on July 28, “in the migrant hotbed of Aurora, Colorado”, but were released into the far-left state to further wreak havoc thanks to a puny $1,000 bond. She explained that sources told her “the brothers entered the US on Aug. 22, 2023 at a port of entry in Eagle Pass, Texas, using the CBP One app, even though they lacked proper documents to be allowed in,” but were let go as they claimed asylum. They reportedly told Biden immigration officials they wanted to go to New York, but they “instead turned up in the sanctuary city of Aurora, where Tren de Aragua members have been taking over whole apartment complexes and terrorizing residents with violent crime.” On Friday, Taer discussed her scoop on the Fox News Channel’s Fox News @ Night with our friend, Trace Gallagher:     To read Taer’s full report, click here.

Mother with concealed-carry license says she opened fire on male trying to climb through daughter's bedroom window

A mother with a concealed-carry license said she opened fire on a male trying to climb through her daughter's bedroom window in Chicago over the weekend."That motherly instincts kick in, so as soon as something happens, it's like fight or flight," the mother — who asked for anonymity — told WLS-TV.'Try not to be out here committing crimes, especially trying to come into somebody's house, because you never know what's on the other side of that window.'The mom told the station she's been a CCL holder for years and never had to fire her gun until Saturday night's incident at her South Shore apartment. Her 18-year-old daughter had just returned to her bedroom after bathing just before 11 p.m., WLS said."So, I put the towel on, and I run out my room, and I ran right there. I'm like, 'Yo, somebody's trying to come through my window.' So, my mom immediately acted on it," the daughter told the station. The mom told WLS, "He was, like, hanging on her window. I just told him that 'I have a gun. I'm going to shoot.' And he just didn't stop. I fired a warning shot. I didn't even know that he got hit."Police soon found the 36-year-old suspect shot in the leg on East 69th Street near Oglesby, the station said, adding that he was taken to a hospital in fair condition. Charges were pending against the suspect Sunday night, WLS added. The mother and daughter both had advice for the would-be intruder."Next time you think about coming through somebody's window, you just remember how that bullet felt," the daughter told the station. Her mother added to WLS, "Try not to be out here committing crimes, especially trying to come into somebody's house, because you never know what's on the other side of that window."She noted to the station that police confiscated her gun.You can view a video report here about the incident.Blaze News over the weekend reported on 10 times Chicago concealed carriers stopped crooks in their tracks over the last year.Like Blaze News? 'You have been cruel to me': Controversial Olympic boxer Imane Khelif blames Elon Musk for 'hate campaign'

Controversial boxer Imane Khelif has spoke out following an Olympic gold medal, blaming SpaceX owner Elon Musk for an alleged campaign of hate.Khelif sparked worldwide backlash at the Olympics for competing against and defeating women, despite two governing bodies in boxing having claimed that Khelif is actually a man.The International Boxing Association disqualified Khelif at the 2023 world championships with IBA President Umar Kremlev saying at the time that Khelif had "XY chromosomes."Less than a week after the Olympic controversy began, the European vice president of the World Boxing Organization said that Khelif was among several fighters in the female category who were revealed to be men.'You have been cruel to me, cruel to my family, to my mother.'Despite the claims from the IBA and WBO, Khelif easily beat women en route to gold at the Paris Olympics without losing a single round in the tournament.Khelif recently told French TV show "Clique" that Musk was the catalyst for an online campaign that led to alleged hate."Elon Musk was one of the first to attack me during this hate campaign," Khelif said, according to a translation printed by the New York Post."He posted this video and it was retweeted. So, he was one of the first to have spread this buzz, this campaign against me," the boxer continued. "I would say, you hate me but you don't even know me. I don't even know why you led this attack. You have been cruel to me, cruel to my family, to my mother. At that time, my mother was going to the hospital every day.""I don’t understand the behavior of people today,” Khelif added.Khelif had previously targeted Musk along with writer J.K. Rowling and even former President Donald Trump when submitting a criminal complaint in France for alleged hate speech. The complaint was made to Paris' online hate speech office and claimed Khelif was a victim of cyber harassment. Rowling and Musk were both named in the complaint over "alleged acts of aggravated cyber harassment."Musk had publicly agreed with former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines when she posted on X that "men don't belong in women's sports," referring to Khelif. The X owner simply replied by saying "absolutely."'I am a Muslim Arabic woman and I got through this moment.'Khelif's lawyer also said Trump would be part of the investigation:"Trump tweeted, so whether or not he is named in our lawsuit, he will inevitably be looked into as part of the prosecution," the attorney said.Trump's apparent offense was positing a message in response to Khelif's first Olympic victory, saying, "I will keep men out of women's sports!"The boxer went on to say in the recent interview, "God is my guide, I am a practicing Muslim woman. I am a Muslim Arabic woman and I got through this moment."Khelif also alluded to returning to the boxing ring with the promise of being "even stronger."Like Blaze News? Ana Navarro puts her ignorance on full display while trying to needle Trump over Virgin Mary post

Trump posted an image of the Virgin Mary to social media Sunday with the caption, "Happy Birthday Mary!" The post ostensibly resonated with a great many Christians, Catholics in particular — of which there are nearly 1.4 billion worldwide and at least 52 million stateside. However, various radicals reflexively went on the attack. Among those prickled by the painting of Christ's mother was Harris booster Ana Navarro, a former foreign agent who is now co-host of ABC's "The View." In a desperate attempt to embarrass Trump over the post, Navarro instead beclowned herself. Navarro, a recent speaker at the Democratic National Convention and former national surrogate for John McCain's failed 2008 presidential campaign, responded, "When you obviously know nothing about virgins." The image Trump shared is a devotional image of the Virgin of Guadalupe displayed on woven cloth and located within the Basílica de Guadalupe in Mexico City. While Navarro suggested that Trump is ignorant of virgins, his understanding appears to have bested hers on the fundamentals. The image he shared — of the Virgin of Guadalupe — depicts the Virgin Mary. Where Catholics like Melania Trump are concerned, September 8 is the feast day celebrating the nativity of the Virgin Mary — also known as her birthday. Christians outside Mexico have been celebrating Mary's birthday, as Trump had, since at least the sixth century. 'Can somebody please tell this idiota to show some respect.' Some individuals online who attempted to extract sense from Navarro's tweet concluded that the former Contras campaigner was herself perhaps unclear about what "virgin" meant, at least in the case of Mary — that Navarro believed that the Virgin Mary had no birthday. While the Catholic Church holds that Mary was "preserved immune from all stain of original stain" from the first moment of her conception, it nevertheless maintains she was still conceived and born, hence her centuries-old birthday celebration. In the face of significant backlash online over her failed attack, Navarro indicated why she was upset in an edited Instagram post. Navarro wrote, "I mean, I know Trump knows nothing about virgins, but even for him, this is ridiculous. Can somebody please tell this idiota to show some respect. September 8th is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Feast Day of La Virgén de la Caridad del Cobre, patron Virgin of Cuba. This is the Virgin of Guadalupe - Patron Virgin of Mexico. Her Feast Day is Dec 12th. I can't. I just can't." The religious figure celebrated in each of those feasts is the same depicted in the image Trump shared Sunday. It appears Navarro either regards them as distinct entities or the image used by Trump to be regionally exclusive. Navarro told CNN talking head Erin Burnett in 2016 that "maybe if the Virgin Mary appeared to me and asked me to do it, I would consider [voting for Trump]." Clearly, the co-host of "The View" will take more convincing than a post she failed to appreciate. Like Blaze News?
