Polite Pig Waits Patiently For Mom To Apply His Sunscreen

The Gentle Barn is an animal rescue and sanctuary with locations in California and Tennessee. The foundation is the dream of Ellie Laks, who set her heart on the concept when she was seven years old. Henry is one of their rescue pigs, and he is the best while waiting for his mom to apply sunscreen to protect his ears. @thegentlebarn That kiss at the end Why do pigs need sunscreen? The same reason we do! While our rescue pigs do get important protection from the sun in their daily mud baths and all the shade we provide, they need extra help preventing sunburn, especially on sensitive areas like Henry’s king-sized ears! #rescuepigs #pigcare #farmanimalsanctuary #piggy #cuteanimals ♬ Married Life (From “Up”) – Gina Luciani What an adorable blond boy. Did you catch that “thank you” kiss? Henry has been at The Gentle Barn’s Tennessee location since 2015. He and his brother Horton were rescued after running down the street, starving and covered in ticks. After months of rehabilitation and belly rubs, caregivers noticed Horton having mobility issues from fast growth. Henry picked flowers, brought food for Horton, and stayed by his side until he passed away. Since then, Henry has become the herd-father, taking care of everyone. He will spend the remainder of his days at The Gentle Barn relaxing in a mud bath, getting belly rubs, and having animal-safe sunscreen applied to his ears. Image from Instagram. The Gentle Barn, founded in 1999 by Ellie Laks, is based on her dream. Animals have always played a healing role in her life. After majoring in psychology and special education, she applies her knowledge, passions, and talents to The Gentle Barn. It is a safe haven for animals and an educational center for children. Joining as a volunteer in 2002, Jay Weiner quickly fell in love with the animals and the healing atmosphere. The Gentle Barn outgrew their half-acre in the San Fernando Valley and moved to a six-acre property in Santa Clarita. The property is now home to approximately 200 animals. The Nashville, Tennessee, location provides services to the Midwest. Please share. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Top 10 Supremes Songs

Our Top 10 Supremes songs list looks back at the most successful Motown group of all time. While some may mention The Temptations, The Miracles, The Four Tops, or even The Jackson Five, it was the Supremes who had more number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 than any other Motown group. The Supremes had more number-one singles than any other American group in history. There have been American solo artists who have had more number ones, such as Mariah Carey, Elvis Presley, and Madonna; however, no American group can claim to have had as many number-one singles as the Supremes. The The post Top 10 Supremes Songs appeared first on ClassicRockHistory.com.

After CNN's Clooney-Play Show, Anderson Cooper Coos Over Scott Pelley's 'Courage'

After CNN's Clooney-Play Show, Anderson Cooper Coos Over Scott Pelley's 'Courage'

It was biased enough for CNN to air a live Broadway performance of George Clooney's Broadway play Good Night and Good Luck, which glorifies 1950s CBS left-wing hack Edward R. Murrow attacking anti-communist Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis.) as an anti-Trump #Resistance ploy. David Marcus at Fox News called it "breathtakingly sanctimonious." But that breathtaking sanctimony extended to the pre-play and post-play coverage. After it was over, in an hour they unsubtly titled "Truth and Power," Anderson Cooper brought on 60 Minutes anchor Scott Pelley for a promotional interview about his anti-Trump commencement speech at Wake Forest. Cooper gently asked him if was nervous about doing it while "there's a lawsuit by the President based on unfounded allegations." After Good Night, and Good Luck live play, CNN showcased Scott Pelley to defend his commencement speech (“Journalism is under attack, universities are under attack, freedom of speech is under attack...”) and on CNN he ridiculed critics: “There was a little bit of hysteria among… pic.twitter.com/wAAhc9JR2E — Brent Baker ???? ?? (@BrentHBaker) June 8, 2025 Liberals constantly defend their trashy liberal attacks with bluster about freedom of speech. When Pelley gave a pompous speech comparing the Trump era to the Civil War and Pearl Harbor, it's apparently not freedom of speech to describe this as pompous nonsense. He told Cooper "there was a little bit of hysteria among some about this speech. And I simply ask you, what does it say about our country when there's hysteria about a speech that's about freedom of speech?" Cooper would never point out that Pelley might pose as a courageous antagonist to Trump, but there's also the other half of CBS and 60 Minutes, the ones that pour "syrupy minutes" on Democrats, including Pelley's soft-shoe shuffles with President Biden.  Cooing Cooper pointed out Pelley has won more than 50 Emmy awards, and wrapped up by asking this set-up: "Do you still believe in journalism? Do you still believe in the role of journalists?" Journalism “is the only thing that’s going to save the country,” Scott Pelley on CNN after Good Night, and Good Luck play. “You cannot have democracy without journalism. It can’t be done.” Pelley then advocated for what he and CBS News have failed at for decades: “We have to… pic.twitter.com/Xka5HEifNi — Brent Baker ???? ?? (@BrentHBaker) June 8, 2025 Before the play, Brian Stelter talked to Pamela Brown outside the theater. "The parallels are downright eerie. We are talking about the exact same themes today that Murrow was experiencing in the 1950s. Journalistic courage in an age, in a climate of fear. Corporate leaders perhaps being timid, not sure how to handle government pressure, whether to stand up or back down." At a time when the networks offer coverage of the Trump administration that's 92 percent negative, how are they selling that journalists are fearful of attacking Trump? Couldn't Stelter take a page from Jake Tapper and see the parallels in how Biden's decline was covered up because of timid corporate media leaders "not sure how to handle government pressure"?  Ahead of CNN’s live showing of Good Night, and Good Luck, @BrianStelter ominously intoned: “The parallels are downright eerie. We are talking about the exact same themes today that Murrow was experiencing in the 1950s. Journalistic courage in an age in a climate of fear,… pic.twitter.com/8vRvqMbNdj — Brent Baker ???? ?? Fiery footage shows radicals in LA savagely attack law enforcement on second night of violent riots

California radicals desperate to prevent the Trump administration from deporting illegal aliens have mounted a violent, days-long campaign against both federal and local law enforcement officers. While those identified as "troublemakers and insurrectionists" by President Donald Trump have employed similar tactics as the 2020 Black Lives Matter rioters — pelting police with bricks and incendiary devices and torching cars while masking their faces — this time around, they have largely been fighting under foreign flags.Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas was on the ground Sunday night in Los Angeles, both documenting the riots as they unfolded and capturing footage of some of the brigands' more brazen attacks on life and property. It appears — contrary to Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom's suggestion that "local law enforcement didn't need help" — that the Los Angeles Police Department could use all the help that the federal government can muster.RELATED: Stunning videos from inside CBP vehicles capture the moment vicious rioters attacked in Los Angeles Photo by RINGO CHIU/AFP via Getty ImagesContrary to Newsom's suggestion, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell admitted in the wake of the first night of rioting that the violence was "getting increasingly worse" and that police "are overwhelmed as far as the number of people out there engaged in this type of activity.""There's no limit to what they're doing to our officers," added McDonnell, who initially indicated he didn't want to cooperate with the federal government.Unlike Democratic leaders in the state, Trump was evidently not willing to leave the fate of Los Angeles and its guardians to chance. On Sunday, Trump said in a statement, "A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve."Around 300 of the 2,000 National Guard troops he ordered to deal with the riots reportedly hit the streets of Los Angeles early Sunday.Thousands of anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement rioters evidently keen for a fight with federal forces quickly flooded the streets and took over the 101 freeway in downtown Los Angeles, where California Highway Patrol officers were apparently surrounded on at least one occasion while radicals set their vehicles ablaze. On the highway and across the city, radicals continued to attack law enforcement.Rosas captured footage showing LAPD officers having to swerve to avoid projectiles thrown by rioters.RELATED: LA approves only handful of building permits 75 days after fire devastation — (@) Officers lucky enough to dodge flying bricks and incendiary devices would still have to dodge mobile infernos. In one video, rioters can be seen rolling a dumpster fire into the street — an obstacle that would force incoming first responders closer to the masked thugs on the near side. — (@) Fires raged well within view of Los Angeles City Hall.Rather than focus her ire on the agents of destruction and violence, Mayor Karen Bass (D) — like Newsom — blamed Trump, suggesting the National Guard, not the rioters, were inspiring a sense of fear in the city. — (@) Not all fire-starting attempts were successful, however. Rosas caught a moment in which a police officer's well-placed nonlethal shot dissuaded a would-be arsonist from setting a fire in the middle of the street. — (@) After another night of flame and violence, Newsom said he planned to sue the Trump administration over the use of the National Guard.Like Blaze News?
