Post-Dobbs US Birthrate Up 2.3%‚ Study Finds

Pro-life state laws have saved an estimated 32‚000 babies’ lives‚ new research claims.   Since the June 2022 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization returned decision-making on laws regulating abortion to the people and their elected representatives‚ aggregated data reveals increased fertility rates in states that have since outlawed or sharply restricted abortion.  The research was conducted by economists at the Georgia Institute of Technology and at Middlebury College in Vermont. The researchers compared birthrates between states that restrict and allow abortion. Dobbs “sparked the most profound transformation of abortion access in 50 years‚” according to the study‚ “The Effects of the Dobbs Decision on Fertility‚” published by the Institute of Labor Economics‚ a Germany-based nonprofit economic research network. “The results indicate that states with abortion bans experienced an average increase in births of 2.3 percent‚ relative to states where abortion was not restricted.”  The researchers estimated the effects of abortion bans on fertility rates using data from states with abortion bans in the first half of 2023. “These effects also vary substantially across ban states‚ with much larger effects observed in states that are bordered by other ban states and hence have long travel distances to reach facilities that remain open‚” according to the study.  Where distance to a state with legal abortion increased‚ the fertility rate was even higher. Texas‚ noted for its size‚ and bordering other states with abortion bans‚ saw a 5.1% increase in estimated births‚ the research showed.  As of Nov. 7‚ 14 states had banned abortion‚ with some exceptions for cases of rape or incest‚ or to preserve the life of the mother‚ and seven states have restricted it after a certain gestational age ranging from six to 18 weeks‚ The New York Times reported.   Alison Gemmill‚ assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore‚ told CNN that fertility rates “don’t typically change dramatically‚” so “the fact that there is a signal at the population level means that something’s really going on [with abortion bans].”  In their discussion‚ the researchers estimate that 20% to 25% of women seeking abortions “did not receive them due to bans.”  “We should celebrate these thousands of precious‚ irreplaceable lives who are with us today‚” Melanie Israel‚ policy analyst in the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life‚ Religion and Family of The Heritage Foundation‚ told The Daily Signal in a written statement. “Pro-life laws save lives‚ and policymakers at every level of government should continue building on the momentum to protect women and unborn children from the violence of abortion.” (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.)  Have an opinion about this article? Member of Maryland’s Hate Crimes Commission Compared Israel to Nazi Germany and Won’t Apologize Despite Suspension

Maryland’s new commission to “prevent and respond to hate crime activity” has met only once‚ but one member already has been suspended—for comparing Israel to Nazi Germany. This incident seems to echo a trend: Many of those on the Left who rush to police “hate” often spread their own kind of hate. Zainab Chaudry‚ director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Maryland chapter and one of the commission’s first 10 members‚ described the Hamas terror attacks of Oct. 7 as an “uprising” and condemned the state of Israel as oppressive and worse. Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown‚ a Democrat‚ last week suspended Chaudry from the newly launched Commission on Hate Crimes Response and Prevention. The Maryland Legislature passed HB 1066 in April and Gov. Wes Moore‚ a Democrat‚ signed it into law in May. The law established the Commission on Hate Crime Response and Prevention to prevent and respond to hate crimes and “evaluate state laws and policies relating to hate crimes.” “The commission has only met once‚ with its inaugural meeting on Sept. 6‚ 2023‚” Brown noted in a Nov. 21 press release. “Ms. Chaudry’s posts on her personal social media since Oct. 7‚ in these very early days of the commission‚ have challenged the commission’s ability to do its work.” Brown said he determined that Chaudry’s “social media posts risk disrupting the work and mission of the Commission‚” so he temporarily suspended her‚ assigned staff to write a values statement to protect the commission from similar scandals‚ and urged members of the panel to “exercise great care in their communications and conduct.” What led Brown to this conclusion? On Oct. 7‚ Hamas terrorists slaughtered about 1‚200 Israelis‚ including women and children‚ and took more than 240 hostages. Horrific videos of terrorists bragging about killing Jews hit social media. Hamas terrorists slaughtered parents in front of their children and children in front of their parents. They raped women before killing them and mutilating their bodies. Terrorists bragged about this in horrifying detail when questioned after the fact by Israel Defense Forces. On social media‚ Chaudry described these horrific events as “the uprising in Palestine‚” urging readers to “keep in mind that they are a people who are illegally occupied.” She added that “the thirst for freedom is an innate instinct we’re born with.” “Resistance is a reminder that it can’t be quenched through might and force‚” she wrote. Chaudry did not condemn the Hamas terrorists or lament the Israeli dead. Rather‚ she apparently praised the attacks in Israel as an “uprising” of freedom. Chaudry’s later posts echoed the same ideas. On Oct. 9‚ she compared “Palestinian freedom fighters” to “Ukrainian freedom fighters.” She also suggested that a focus on the Israeli victims of the terrorists amounted to centering “white pain” in “global consciences.” After appearing to celebrate the terrorist attacks that killed the most Jews in one day since the Holocaust in the 1940s‚ Chaudry compared the Jewish state to Germany’s Nazi regime during World War II that sought to eradicate Jews from the face of the Earth. She shared two photos of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin‚ Germany: a 1936 photo of a Nazi parade and a 2023 photo of the gate lit up in the blue and white of the Israeli flag. Chaudry posted the photos with the message: “That moment when you become what you hated most.” Chaudry has not shown remorse for these posts‚ which remain public on her Facebook page. The Council on American Islamic Relations has not condemned them either. Instead‚ it mobilized nearly 4‚000 petitioners to demand Chaudry’s reinstatement to Maryland’s hate crimes commission. “There is no conflict between condemning the Israeli government’s war crimes overseas and standing up against all forms of hate here at home‚ including antisemitism‚ Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism‚” Chaudry said in a formal statement after her suspension by Brown‚ the Free State’s attorney general. “False smears from anti-Palestinian and anti-Muslim extremists will not stop me from standing up for justice here and abroad.” Supporters wrote in a Nov. 22 letter to Brown that they “completely agree” with Chaudry’s quote. “As the only American Muslim on the Attorney General’s Hate Crimes Commission‚ Zainab Chaudry’s voice was critical in representing our community’s concerns to your office‚” the petitioners wrote. “Even a temporary suspension of her role is harmful and completely unjustified. Like Zainab‚ many members of the Maryland community have been critical of the Israel government’s horrific crimes against the Palestinian people.” Since last night‚ dozens of Maryland Muslim organizations and over 3‚800 petitioners have called on @OAGMaryland Anthony Brown to reverse his decision to temporarily suspend our MD director Dr. Zainab Chaudry from the Hate Crimes Commission under pressure from anti-Muslim &;… pic.twitter.com/eob0t9FFSL— CAIR National (@CAIRNational) November 22‚ 2023 Chaudry may disagree with Israel and condemn its actions‚ but in what world is it acceptable to compare the world’s only Jewish state with the genocidal regime that sought to eliminate all Jews? Rather than condemning Hamas for slaughtering women and children‚ she blamed Israel. She did not even acknowledge that Israel’s military takes key steps to minimize civilian casualties‚ while Hamas deliberately stages terrorist activities in civilian buildings such as hospitals to use civilians as human shields. Israel’s military objective‚ stated from the beginning‚ has been the eradication of Hamas’ military capabilities‚ to prevent another Oct. 7 pogrom. A Hamas terrorist infamously called his parents to brag‚ “Mom‚ Dad‚ I killed 10 Jews!” Israelis do not call their parents to brag‚ “Mom‚ Dad‚ I killed Palestinians.” Although Chaudry is correct that criticizing Israel is not ipso facto a form of antisemitism‚ this blatant double standard‚ and the extreme hyperbole of comparing Israel to the Nazis‚ is absolutely antisemitic. Yet the Left’s intersectional ideology gives Chaudry a smokescreen for her hatred. As Chaudry’s statement about “white pain” reveals‚ she considers Israelis part of the “white” oppressor class‚ putting the Jews—the No. 1 example of an oppressed people group throughout history—in the same category as the Nazis. The Marxist lens of analyzing every conflict along oppressor-versus-oppressed lines leads her to moral insanity‚ a moral insanity that inspires hatred. This moral insanity reminds me of the perverse accusations of the Southern Poverty Law Center. As I wrote in my book “Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center‚” the SPLC began as a noble civil rights nonprofit‚ helping poor people in the South. It later expanded its operations to suing truly hateful groups such as the Ku Klux Klan into bankruptcy‚ and then expanded that effort to “monitor” conservative groups as if they were themselves hateful. Now‚ religious freedom groups such as Alliance Defending Freedom‚ the American Freedom Law Center‚ and the Family Research Council find themselves on the SPLC’s “hate group” list alongside Klan chapters and plotted on a map with neo-Nazis. Groups that call for the enforcement of immigration law‚ such as the Center for Immigration Studies and the Dustin Inman Society‚ find themselves on the same map. So do parental rights groups such as Moms for Liberty and Parents Defending Education. In the name of fighting hate‚ the SPLC has inspired hate—and even terrorism. In 2012‚ a man used the SPLC “hate map” to target the Family Research Council for a mass shooting. After a brave security guard foiled his plan‚ the gunman confessed to the FBI that he planned to slaughter everyone in the building. Amid a racial discrimination and sexual harassment scandal in 2019‚ a former SPLC employee revealed that the organization’s “hate” accusations are a “highly profitable scam‚” but that hasn’t stopped government agencies from relying upon those accusations. The FBI infamously used the SPLC to target “radical-traditional Catholics” in a since-rescinded January memo. In 2019‚ Michigan’s Democratic attorney general‚ Dana Nessel‚ announced a hate crimes unit “to fight against hate crimes and the many hate groups … in our state.” Her announcement cited the SPLC hate map and highlighted an area of the state that includes the headquarters of the Judeo-Christian group American Freedom Law Center. The American Freedom Law Center sued Nessel‚ carguing that the announcement violated the group’s rights to free speech under the First Amendment. The center‚ a nonprofit public interest law firm‚ principally defends the First Amendment rights of conservative Christians and Jews. Robert Muise‚ the center’s co-founder‚ recounted how the SPLC attacked him. “I was on active duty in the Marine Corps for 13 years as an officer. I’m a father of 12 and a devout Catholic‚” Muise told me in 2019. “They had me listed as an antisemite when my co-founder is a yarmulke-wearing Orthodox Jew!” Much of the Left’s “hate” monitoring boils down to an excuse to demonize conservatives and exclude them from the conversation. This ideological policing often seems to miss antisemitism when it doesn’t outright enable it. Many civil rights commissions and hate crimes commissions are slanted heavily to the Left‚ leading to perverse outcomes. Jack Phillips‚ the Christian baker who refused to create a custom cake to celebrate a same-sex wedding‚ found himself prosecuted by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. Phillips won his case because members of that commission had demonstrated hostility toward Phillips’ faith. The Maryland hate crimes commission shows a clear leftward tilt. It includes left-leaning organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League‚ the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People‚ and the Pride Coalition of Maryland‚ but not any right-leaning organization. The Council on American-Islamic Relations‚ Chaudry’s organization‚ has worked with the SPLC to urge charitable institutions to blacklist “Anti-Muslim hate groups‚” including the American Freedom Law Center. Until hate crime commissions start including conservative members‚ conservatives rightly will view these efforts with skepticism. Brown not only should refuse to reinstate Chaudry‚ but also take the opportunity of the vacancy to find a conservative voice for the commission. ANOTHER Airplane Incident: Woman Drops Trow‚ Threatens To Pee In The Aisle!

What is going on aboard our passenger airplanes?! WLTR recently reported on the Southwest Airlines incident where a man jumped out of the emergency exit in an attempt to steal an airport service truck. Where he hoped to go‚ nobody knows. We also reported on the possessed woman and the guy who attempted to open the door to an airplane mid-flight. I won’t keep going‚ but I could go on and on. The most recent incident occurred aboard a Frontier Airlines flight when a woman pulled her pants down and threatened to pee in the aisle. This happened following an altercation between her and the flight attendant‚ who told her that she couldn’t use the plane’s bathroom at that time. Watch the moment it happened below: A woman on a #FrontierAirlines flight HORRIFIED passengers after she did this! https://t.co/yDESktfoJ6 pic.twitter.com/qGaDaPg0vB — TMZ (@TMZ) November 27‚ 2023 A Frontier Airlines passenger wasn’t taking no for an answer and instead of waiting to use the bathroom when told to do so by a flight attendant‚ she pulled her pants down and threatened to pee in the aisle Watch: https://t.co/LBReA7zmkZ pic.twitter.com/xh4DCUsg2Z — OutKick (@Outkick) November 25‚ 2023 The New York Post also chronicled the incident: At one point‚ the person behind the camera recording the confrontation can be heard saying “That poor boy next to us” — seemingly referring to the young boy across the aisle who was afforded a graphic view of the woman’s display. The woman also continued fighting with several passengers toward the back of the plane‚ though it is unclear if she was traveling with them‚ a second‚ longer video showed. RedWave Press reports: “The woman can be heard saying‚ “𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲‚ 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲‚” before she relieved herself in the aisle. Passengers then started to protest against her‚ and she can be heard saying‚ “𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐟–𝐤‚ 𝐅–𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮. She threatened to kill another passenger‚’ the fellow flyer claimed. ‘She threatened me after I told her to sit down‚’ Hartman said – although this wasn’t captured in the video. ‘I hope she was arrested and banned from flying again.’ RELATED: Have you noticed these seem to be happening about once a day now? Why? What is going on? WATCH: Absolute Chaos Ensues Aboard Southwest Airlines Flight Why do things like this keep happening? On Sunday‚ a man was apprehended by airport security for jumping out of the emergency hatch of Southwest Airlines flight 3172 and attempting to steal one of the service trucks parked on the tarmac. He didn’t get very far and not much is known about why he did what he did. It seems completely bizarre to me. Where did he hope to go? What was he trying to accomplish? Surely he could not have gotten very far in this airport service truck. The suspect has yet to be named‚ though passengers aboard the airplane captured the ensuing chaos aboard the plane after the man jumped. A three-hour flight from Houston‚ Texas‚ to Denver‚ Colorado‚ was delayed by three hours — including a stop in Dallas‚ Texas — after multiple women interrupted a flight‚ stemming from one woman’s apprehension. Video of the incident titled “My little sister’s first experience flying by her self on Frontier” purportedly took place on a Frontier Airlines flight. It began with a woman‚ already being subdued by security‚ screaming desperately for the guards to let go of her arm. After about a minute of the woman crying while she was taken to the front of the plane‚ the video cut to a man arguing with security from his seat. At the same time‚ the previously apprehended woman began an attempted escape to toward the back of the plane‚ crawling and falling over three sets of seats and passengers. Soon thereafter‚ a second woman appeared toward the back of the plane and began yelling in apparent objection to the first woman who caused the alleged delay. “Straight Texas style! … [I’m going to] beat your ass!” the woman in sunglasses and a bandana screamed. Not 45 seconds later‚ a third woman emerged in the aisle and attempted to explain to her fellow passengers what was happening. “This is not happening for no reason. This is actual evidence that there is a real devil that wants to kill each and every one of y’all including your family members‚” she explained. “That’s not her‚ she’s possessed! She needs help!” the woman wearing the inside-out beanie declared. “I’m only telling y’all because all hell is about to break lose and you’re getting the evidence of it‚” she continued before moving toward the front of the plane. Once at the front‚ the woman turned around and began singing to the detained woman as the situation escalated. The bandana-wearing woman soon spouted off more comments toward the woman allegedly causing a delay: “Ain’t nobody playing with you‚ girl!” “I’ll be crazy right along with you. You’re doing all that crying? I ain’t playing with you!” she continued. Watch the full incident here: Just a case of some edible marijuana gone wrong? Hmmmm‚ I don’t know: She’s probably not “possessed”‚ she was probably told an “marijuana edible” would calm her down for the flight‚ instead‚ it caused a psychotic break which puts everyone on the plane at risk. https://t.co/pFfeLJX0dR — Aubree Adams (@AubreeAdams4) November 22‚ 2023 RELATED: Off-Duty Pilot Attempts To Shut Down Plane Engine – Facing 83 Counts of Attempted Murder An off-duty Alaska Airlines pilot was apprehended after attempting to shut down an airplane engine midflight. Gomas continued‚ “So I got in a bit of an altercation. It spiraled out of control. It was not my best moment. I mean‚ it was actually a horrible moment. It’s absolutely mortifying.” What do you guys think? I don’t buy the story. Something seems off. Going back and watching the original‚ it doesn’t seem like she is referring to some altercation. And why did it take so long for her to come out with it? Would it not have been better for her to say she got upset at someone rather than letting rumors circulate for months that she saw a ghost‚ alien‚ or lizard person? It’s still fishy. And let’s assume that she is telling the truth about what happened. How can someone be so selfish as to delay a flight because the ‘energy was bad?’ At least some people are still having fun with the story. Tiffany Gomas held a Halloween contest to see who could pull off her look the best. LUXE LIFE: Zelensky Just Made A $75 Million Purchase!

Before we begin‚ let me warn you that this story is based entirely on foreign and Russian sources. That being said‚ does anyone doubt that corrupt Zelensky stole the foreign aid money and siphoned it off to buy luxury goods? It’s no secret that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries on the planet. Before the U.S. government backed Ukraine in a proxy war against Russia‚ high-level officials in Ukraine were under investigation for widespread corruption. Now‚ we are seeing online sleuths and investigative journalists allege that Zelensky owns several luxury yachts valued at $75 million through surrogates—meaning he owns the yachts via proxy buyers beholden to him. One individual explained: “Zelensky bought two luxury yachts for $75 million through surrogates.  From published memoranda of the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA)‚ it became known about the acquisition of two superyachts – the 46-meter “Lucky Me” and the 57-meter “My Legacy” by the Shefir brothers‚ who are close to Zelensky The first yacht was purchased for $25 million on October 18‚ the second – for almost $50 million on October 25‚ Russian Telegram channels wrote‚ citing articles in foreign publications as evidence. Boris and Sergey Shefir‚ on whose behalf the purchases were made‚ are close friends and confidants of the President of Ukraine Together with them‚ Zelensky founded the Kvartal-95 studio in 2003 and appointed the younger of the brothers‚ Sergey Shefir‚ as the first assistant to the President of Ukraine shortly after he won the elections and became the President on May 20‚ 2019. There is every reason to believe that and the two purchases were made in the name of Sergey and Boris Shefir in order to hide the real owner of the yachts – Vladimir Zelensky They have used similar schemes before. Back in 2021‚ the International Center for the Study of Corruption and Organized Crime reported in its investigation that Sergey Shefir was involved in Zelensky’s so-called offshore network in the British Virgin Islands‚ Cyprus and Belize This became known thanks to the disclosure by the international media of the so-called “Pandora File”. A month before he won the election‚ Zelensky transferred his offshore assets to the name of Sergey Shefir. It appears that a similar impersonation scheme was used in the purchase of yachts. Despite the attempts of Western countries to bring financial aid to Ukraine under control‚ this has not yet happened‚ as evidenced by the constant corruption scandals in the highest echelons of power in Ukraine.” Zelensky bought two luxury yachts for $75 million through surrogates From published memoranda of the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA)‚ it became known about the acquisition of two superyachts – the 46-meter “Lucky Me” and the 57-meter “My Legacy” by the Shefir… pic.twitter.com/2D6wMTEbqJ — K Boz (@KBoz3) November 27‚ 2023 Shahzad Nasir dissected and analyzed the yacht sales‚ Zelensky’s network‚ and a breakdown of his assets in this brilliant YouTube video. One senior-level Ukrainian official told Simon Shuster of TIME Magazine that Ukrainian officials were ‘stealing like there’s no tommorrow’‚ according to  Fox News: TIME senior correspondent Simon Shuster wrote about his experience following Zelenskyy and his team back to Ukraine after they visited the U.S. in September to appeal for aid‚ noting in Washington they had faced “insistent calls for Zelensky to fight corruption inside his own government‚ and the fading enthusiasm for a war with no end in sight.” Shuster reported that similarly grim sentiment appears among the public as well‚ as those with the money available “sometimes bribe their way out of service” and that such cases “became so widespread by the end of the summer that on Aug. 11 Zelensky fired the heads of the draft offices in every region of the country.” “Anyone who votes to fund Ukraine is funding the most corrupt money scheme of any foreign war in our country’s history. And forcing the American people to pay for it‚” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene stated. Anyone who votes to fund Ukraine is funding the most corrupt money scheme of any foreign war in our country’s history. And forcing the American people to pay for it.https://t.co/lzLcOCAlc7 — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (@RepMTG) November 27‚ 2023 Kim DotCom highlighted the corruption‚ though the community notes feature on the X social media platform claimed that the articles provided do not conclusively prove that Zelensky owns these yachts. Of course‚ ownership through ‘surrogacy’ necessarily entails that no definitive proof will be given of the asset ownership because it is owned through surrogates. US tax dollars at work. Zelenskyy allegedly bought 2 yachts via proxy worth over $75 million as reported by The Islander. The names of the yachts are an insult to all Ukrainians: ‘Lucky me’ and ‘My Legacy’ pic.twitter.com/V5uHP0neqU — Kim Dotcom (@KimDotcom) November 27‚ 2023 The New Voice of Ukraine published this related piece earlier this month highlighting yet another example of Ukrainian institutional corruption: In collaboration with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office‚ NABU exposed an organized group within the leadership of the State Special Communications on Nov. 20. Between 2020 and 2022‚ the owner of a group of companies‚ in conspiracy with the agency’s leadership‚ devised a scheme to misappropriate budgetary funds allocated for the purchase of equipment and software.

Amazon Unveils New Chatbot Called “Q”

There sure does seem to be a LOT of stuff coming out recently called “Q”‚ don’t you think? Have you noticed? Just a few days ago we had this: Elon Musk Says He Found Q* And then again a couple days later: Elon Just Tweeted Out “Q*Anon” — But Here’s What Caught My Eye… And now we have Amazon joining the party‚ unveiling their new "AI Chatbot" -- because‚ anybody who's anybody these days has an AI Chatbot. So Amazon is now in the AI Chatbot game‚ but that's not what's mostly interesting about this story. No‚ what's most interesting is of ALL the names they could have chosen (literally ANYTHING in the world) they chose...."Q". Yes‚ really. BREAKING: Amazon announces Q‚ an AI chatbot for businesses pic.twitter.com/pE6g9y7kBu — Insider Paper (@TheInsiderPaper) November 28‚ 2023 They claim it's an homage to the Bond character: Amazon launches “Q”‚ a new AI chatbot for business use/corporate customers. Amazon stated that “Q” was named after Q‚ the character in the James Bond films. But meteorologists know...a storm is coming lol. pic.twitter.com/GhSwcX4X4O — ZNO (@therealZNO) November 28‚ 2023 But others instantly thought of this guy: Amazon unveils new AI Chatbot named....."Q" Mon Capitaine! pic.twitter.com/WxNBTsoGRD — DailyNoah.com (@DailyNoahNews) November 28‚ 2023 And still others naturally are thinking this: Q+ ? pic.twitter.com/VJmZx1BIpF — DailyNoah.com (@DailyNoahNews) November 28‚ 2023 CNBC reported the following: Amazon on Tuesday announced a new chatbot called Q for people to use at work. The product‚ announced at Amazon Web Services’ Reinvent conference in Las Vegas‚ represents Amazon’s latest effort to challenge Microsoft and Google in productivity software. It comes one year after Microsoft-backed startup OpenAI launched its ChatGPT chatbot‚ which has popularized generative artificial intelligence for crafting human-like text in response to a few lines of human input. A preview version of Q — named after the character in the James Bond movies — is available now‚ and several of its features are available for free. Once the preview period ends‚ a tier for business users will cost $20 per person per month. A version with additional features for developers and IT workers will cost $25 per person per month. The Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Duet AI for Google Workspace for business workers both cost $30 per person per month. Initially‚ Q can help people understand the capabilities of AWS and trouble-shoot issues. People will be able to talk with it in communication apps such as Salesforce’s Slack and software developers’ text-editing applications‚ Adam Selipsky‚ CEO of AWS‚ said onstage at Reinvent. It will also appear in AWS’ online Management Console. Q can provide citations of documents to back up its chat responses. The tool can automatically make changes to source code so developers have less work to do‚ Selipsky said. The service will be able to connect to more than 40 enterprise systems‚ he said. As a result‚ with Q‚ people can discuss information that’s stored in Microsoft 365‚ Dropbox‚ Salesforce and Zendesk‚ along with AWS’ S3 data-storage service. People will also be able to upload and ask questions about documents while interacting with Q. Look folks‚ I've worked in these big corporations before in my prior life. These big corps have MASSIVE committees that meet for hours upon hours about every single last detail. You mean to tell me that no one in all of Amazon spoke up to suggest that this would immediately be connected to "Q Movement"? I don't buy that for a second. What is going on here? TechCrunch had these details: Unveiled during a keynote at Amazon’s re:Invent conference in Las Vegas this morning‚ Q — starting at $20 per user per year — can answer questions like “how do I build a web application using AWS?” Trained on 17 years’ worth of AWS knowledge‚ Q will offer a list of potential solutions along with reasons you might consider its proposals. “You can easily chat‚ generate content and take actions [with Q]‚” AWS CEO Adam Selipsky said onstage. “It’s all informed by an understanding of your systems‚ your data repositories and your operations.” AWS customers configure Q by connecting it to — and customizing it with — organization-specific apps and software like Salesforce‚ Gmail and Amazon S3 storage instances. Q indexes all connected data and content‚ “learning” aspects about a business including its organizational structures‚ core concepts and product names. From a web app‚ a company can ask Q to analyze‚ for example‚ which product features its customers are struggling with and possible ways to improve them — or‚ a la ChatGPT‚ upload a file (a Word doc‚ PDF‚ spreadsheet and the like) and ask questions about that file. Q draws on its connections‚ integrations and data‚ including business-specific data‚ to come up with responses along with citations. Q goes beyond simply answering questions. The assistant can take actions on a user’s behalf through a set of configurable plugins‚ like automatically creating service tickets‚ notifying particular teams in Slack and updating dashboards in ServiceNow. To prevent mistakes‚ the chatbot has users inspect actions it’s about to take before they run and link to the results for validation. Accessible from the AWS Management Console and the aforementioned web app‚ as well as existing chat apps like Slack‚ Q has a thorough understanding of AWS and the products and services available through it‚ as you might imagine. Amazon says that Q can understand the nuances of app workloads on AWS‚ suggesting AWS solutions for apps that only run for a few seconds versus minutes or hours or apps that only very infrequently access storage‚ for instance. Onstage‚ Selipsky gave the example of an app that relies on high-performance video encoding and transcoding. Asked about the best EC2 instance for the app in question‚ Q would give a list taking into account performance and cost considerations‚ Selipsky said. Q can also troubleshoot things like network connectivity issues‚ analyzing network configurations to provide remediation steps. And Q ties in with CodeWhisperer‚ Amazon’s service that can generate and interpret app code. Within a supported IDE (e.g. Amazon’s CodeCatalyst)‚ Q can generate tests to benchmark software drawing on knowledge of a customer’s code. Q can also create a draft plan for implementing new features in software or transforming code and upgrading code packages‚ repositories and frameworks — plans that can then be refined and executed using natural language. Selipsky says that Amazon used Q internally to upgrade around 1‚000 apps from Java 8 to Java 17 — and test those apps — in just two days. Amazon says that it’s also building Q its first-party products like QuickSight‚ a business analytics service. Q within QuickSight can provide visualization options for business reports‚ automatically reformatting them‚ or answer questions about data in a report. RELATED: Elon Just Tweeted Out "Q*Anon" -- But Here's What Caught My Eye... So Elon Musk just tweeted‚ quote: "Q*Anon". Yes‚ really. Take a look: Q*Anon https://t.co/BaosFs4diz — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 23‚ 2023 Now the true context to that Tweet is a play on project "Q*" (pronounced Q Star)‚ from OpenAI seemingly related to achieving AGI (Artificial General Intelligence). How's that for a lot of acronyms? So was Elon just randomly tweeting out about QAnon? No‚ but that's not really the point. The point is it seems like he loves shining the spotlight on "Q" and the "Q Movement" and not in a demeaning way. It seems like he's trying to get some mass population attention to it. Which reminds me of when President Trump was asked about the infamous "Q Anon" movement. First of all‚ there is "Q" and there are "Anons" but there is no "Q Anon". So let's get that straight right off the bat. But if you only read the MSM‚ you'd think the Q Movement was a truly horrible group of people. They must stand for rape‚ murder‚ robbery‚ battery‚ child molestation....right? Actually‚ kind of the opposite. The Q Movement is a group of Americans that love America‚ freedom‚ liberty‚ and one of their basic missions just happens to be exposing and stopping child sex trafficking. Bet you didn't know that if you only listen to the MSM. But it's true. It's my duty to get the word out....and I hope you will help me! Back to President Trump. Elon's tweet immediately reminded me of when President Trump himself was asked about "Q" and I absolutely loved his response. Trump responded by admitting that he didn’t know much about the movement but recognized that they are a group that is frustrated with how cities like Portland and Chicago are being run and that they love the country. President Trump also said that he hears that many of them are supporters of his. Naturally‚ that last comment is all the far-left news organizations are now pouncing on. They’re missing the key part of the press conference though. In a follow up question‚ the reporter asked the president: “At the crux of the theory is this belief that you are secretly saving the world from this satanic cult of pedophiles and cannibals. Does that sound like something that you are behind?” President Trump’s response was simple: “Is that supposed to be a bad thing?” Watch: And: #NEW: Pres. @realDonaldTrump responds to a question from a reporter asking if he supports QAnon‚ and those who believe Dems are “pedophiles and cannibals” saying‚ “Is that supposed to be a bad thing? We are actually. We are saving the world." pic.twitter.com/g6A0toxAqy — Emily Finn (@EmilyRoseFinn) August 19‚ 2020 The left is so desperate to get rid of President Trump‚ that they will stretch anything he says until they convince people that it is 'very bad and wrong.' They always try - if they spent as much time on the truth as they do lies and gotcha questions the US would really know what is going on! The demonicRAT party is out of control and‚ control and power is their main goal. TDS is very real!! — George (@George83554566) August 20‚ 2020 This is very simple.. President Trump was asked a question about QAnon and he responded in the best way possible‚ by turning the question back around on the reporter. As Americans‚ we should all be asking the same exact question that Trump responded with: "Is that a bad thing?" There's no such thing as a dumb question but this was pretty close. Loved how he made them look like clowns for asking such a ridiculous question. — Some beach somewhere (@dbates71) August 19‚ 2020 President Trump says he agrees with the notion that we need to fight against pedophiles and cannibals‚ and the news media pounce because he's 'giving credence to a fringe right-wing group.' The real question is‚ what are the major news networks and the democrats really afraid of? If QAnon is just a silly conspiracy group‚ why are they so desperate to silence the group? Why does anything QAnon related get people banned from social media‚ while wishing death upon the president after his brother passes away trends? And if you want even more‚ watch this. THIS....is Q: [censored] Now that you know the TRUTH‚ let's take a look at what the MSM is trying to tell you. Does any of this remotely line up with what you just learned? Ask yourself why they are lying. And also ask yourself like President Trump did‚ why would you be against what Q stands for? Unless.....well‚ I'll let you fill in the answer to that question.  I think you know it.  And it's very dark and ugly.  A dark and ugly reality of the world's elites. Here's what CBS News wants you to beLIEve: What started as a fringe movement among President Trump's supporters‚ confined to the shadier corners of the internet‚ has taken a mainstream turn. The QAnon conspiracy theory started on 4chan‚ the bulletin board known for creating and spreading memes‚ but has moved to larger social media platforms. Facebook has taken action against QAnon groups and pages‚ while Twitter removed several thousand QAnon-linked accounts in 2020. The FBI has warned that fringe conspiracy theories like QAnon pose a growing domestic terrorism threat. What is the QAnon conspiracy theory? What do its followers believe? Those questions have become more difficult to answer as the movement has expanded since its inception in 2017. The story of Q QAnon purports that America is run by a cabal of pedophiles and Satan-worshippers who run a global child sex-trafficking operation and that President Trump is the only person who can stop them. The information supposedly comes from a high-ranking government official who posts cryptic clues on 4chan and the even more unfettered site 8chan under the name "Q." That's the central gist of the theory. The rest is open to some degree of interpretation‚ which is necessary because Q's posts tend to read like riddles. But YouTube videos created by QAnon believers help fill in the gaps and create a storyline that's more-or-less comprehensible. QAnon exists as a kind of parallel history‚ in which a "deep state" took over decades ago. An all-encompassing theory of the world‚ it appears to tie together and explain everything from "Pizzagate" to ISIS to the prevalence of mass shootings and the JFK assassination. It claims the military‚ supposedly eager to see the deep state overthrown‚ recruited President Trump to run for president. But the deep state‚ which controls the media‚ quickly tried to smear him through "fake news" and unfounded allegations of collusion with Russia. It goes on to insist that despite the deep state's best efforts‚ however‚ President Trump is winning‚ and that Q is releasing sanctioned leaks to the public in order to galvanize them ahead of "The Storm‚" which is the moment when the deep state's leaders are arrested and sent to Guantanamo Bay. QAnon believers have called this process "The Great Awakening." Enter "the storm" The storm takes its name from President Trump's enigmatic comment from October 2018 about "the calm before the storm." Q began posting soon after and said that the storm Mr. Trump referenced is a coming series of mass arrests that would end the deep state forever. In QAnon lore‚ President Trump was secretly working with special counsel Robert Mueller to bring the deep state down‚ and the storm is a kind of Judgment Day in which the evildoers are punished and the faithful are redeemed. Q has repeatedly suggested that the storm would hit in the very near future and has even said certain people would be arrested at certain dates. When those dates come and go without any arrests‚ Q says that they needed to be delayed for one reason or another‚ but that President Trump still has the situation well in hand. Bakers and breadcrumbs Q's posts tend to be either vague or totally incomprehensible‚ but QAnon believers are more than happy to try and decipher them. Last year‚ for example‚ Q posted a photo of an unnamed island chain. Eager to divine the reasoning behind the post‚ QAnon adherents tried to "prove" that the photo must have been taken on Air Force One and thus that Q was traveling with the president. The Q posts are known to the faithful as "breadcrumbs." The people who then try to figure out what they mean are called "bakers." According to The Daily Beast's Will Sommer‚ QAnon believers also spend a lot of time trying to figure out who in the government is a "white hat" Trump supporter and who is a "black hat" in league with the deep state. Their rallying cry is "where we go one‚ we go all‚" a line from the 1996 Jeff Bridges sailing adventure "White Squall" that they misattribute to President Kennedy. The phrase is frequently abbreviated to "WWG1WGA‚" which Roseanne Barr — one of several celebrity QAnon supporters — tweeted in June 2018. Former Red Sox pitcher and current right-wing radio host Curt Schilling has also promoted QAnon online. Q's identity The name refers to Q-level clearance at the Energy Department. But who's behind the posts is anybody's guess. According to Sommer‚ the QAnon faithful sometimes point to former national security adviser Michael Flynn and White House aide Dan Scavino as possibilities. Others believe it's Mr. Trump himself. Another theory is that John F. Kennedy Jr. faked his death and now posts on 8chan as QAnon. On November 3‚ Election Day‚ 8chan (now 8kun) administrator Ron Watkins resigned from his post. Q did not post for the next week‚ raising questions about a connection. And the NBC News propaganda: In November 2017‚ a small-time YouTube video creator and two moderators of the 4chan website‚ one of the most extreme message boards on the internet‚ banded together and plucked out of obscurity an anonymous and cryptic post from the many conspiracy theories that populated the website's message board. Over the next several months‚ they would create videos‚ a Reddit community‚ a business and an entire mythology based off the 4chan posts of “Q‚” the pseudonym of a person claiming to be a high-ranking military officer. The theory they espoused would become Qanon‚ and it would eventually make its way from those message boards to national media stories and the rallies of President Donald Trump. Now‚ the people behind that effort are at the center of a fractious debate among conspiracy enthusiasts‚ some of whom believe the three people who first popularized the Qanon theory are promoting it in order to make a living. Others suggest that these original followers actually wrote Q’s mysterious posts. While the identity of the original author or authors behind “Q” is still unknown‚ the history of the conspiracy theory’s spread is well-documented — through YouTube videos‚ social media posts‚ Reddit archives‚ and public records reviewed by NBC News. NBC News has found that the theory can be traced back to three people who sparked some of the first conversation about Qanon and‚ in doing so‚ attracted followers who they then asked to help fund Qanon “research.” Qanon is a convoluted conspiracy theory with no apparent foundation in reality. The heart of it asserts that for the last year the anonymous “Q” has taken to the fringe internet message boards of 4chan and 8chan to leak intelligence about Trump’s top-secret war with a cabal of criminals run by politicians like Hillary Clinton and the Hollywood elite. There is no evidence for these claims. In addition to peeking into the mainstream‚ the theory has been increasingly linked to real-world violence. In recent months‚ Qanon followers have allegedly been involved in a foiled presidential assassination plot‚ a devastating California wildfire‚ and an armed standoff with local law enforcement officers in Arizona. Part of the Qanon appeal lies in its game-like quality. Followers wait for clues left by “Q” on the message board. When the clues appear‚ believers dissect the riddle-like posts alongside Trump’s speeches and tweets and news articles in an effort to validate the main narrative that Trump is winning a war against evil. There are now dozens of commentators who dissect “Q” posts — on message boards‚ in YouTube videos and on their personal pages — but the theory was first championed by a handful of people who worked together to stir discussion of the “Q” posts‚ eventually pushing the theory on to bigger platforms and gaining followers — a strategy that proved to be the key to Qanon’s spread and the originators’ financial gain. The anons Before Q‚ there was a wide variety of “anon” 4chan posters all claiming to have special government access. In 2016‚ there was FBIAnon‚ a self-described “high-level analyst and strategist” offering intel about the 2016 investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Then came HLIAnon‚ an acronym for High Level Insider‚ who posted about various dubious conspiracies in riddles‚ including one that claimed Princess Diana had been killed because she found out about 9/11 “beforehand” and had “tried to stop it.” Then “CIAAnon” and “CIA Intern” took to the boards in early 2017‚ and last August one called WH Insider Anon offered a supposed preview that something that was “going to go down” regarding the DNC and leaks. Qanon was just another unremarkable part of the “anon” genre until November 2017‚ when two moderators of the 4chan board where Q posted predictions‚ who went by the usernames Pamphlet Anon and BaruchtheScribe‚ reached out to Tracy Diaz‚ according to Diaz’s blogs and YouTube videos. BaruchtheScribe‚ in reality a self-identified web programmer from South Africa named Paul Furber‚ confirmed that account to NBC News. “A bunch of us decided that the message needed to go wider so we contacted Youtubers who had been commenting on the Q drops‚” Furber said in an email. Diaz‚ a small-time YouTube star who once hosted a talk show on the fringe right-wing network Liberty Movement Radio‚ had found moderate popularity with a couple of thousand views for her YouTube videos analyzing WikiLeaks releases and discussing the "pizzagate" conspiracy‚ a baseless theory that alleged a child sex ring was being run out of a Washington pizza shop. As Diaz tells it in a blog post detailing her role in the early days of Qanon‚ she banded together with the two moderators. Their goal‚ according to Diaz‚ was to build a following for Qanon — which would mean bigger followings for them as well. On Nov. 3‚ 2017‚ just six days after the first 4chan post from “Q‚” Diaz posted a video entitled “/POL/- Q Clearance Anon - Is it #happening???” in which she introduced the conspiracy theory to her audience. “I do not typically do videos like this‚” she said‚ but citing Q’s “very specific and kind of eerie” posts‚ Diaz explained that she would be covering the 4chan posts‚ “just in case this stuff turns out to be legit because honestly it kind of seems legit.” SAVED: "Out of Shadows" + "Fall of the Cabal" Parts 1-10 Now that Free Speech is making a comeback (thanks Elon!)
