BREAKING: Federal Judge REJECTS Newsom, Sides With Trump Administration — Marines and National Guard Can Stay!

The big Court wins seem to be coming a lot faster and more frequently recently, have you noticed? The latest is Gavin Newsom losing his Emergency Court Filing which asked for the Marines and National Guard to be disbanded. BREAKING: Judge rejects California’s request to immediately block Trump from using US Marines and National Guard to enforce law amid unrest in LA — Insider Paper (@TheInsiderPaper) June 10, 2025 #BREAKING: FEDERAL JUDGE SIDES WITH TRUMP OVER NEWSOM — will NOT force Trump to withdraw National Guard and Marines ANOTHER LOSS FOR NEWSCUM! Trump WILL take back the streets of Los Angeles! pic.twitter.com/IRG8aycrES — Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) June 10, 2025 Fox News had the following: A judge has denied California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s for an immediate restraining order on Trump deploying the military in Los Angeles. U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer declined Newsom’s emergency request, but granted the Trump administration’s request for more time to respond to the governor’s filing. A court hearing regarding the matter is scheduled for Thursday. California is suing Trump, accusing him of using federal troops and commandeering state National Guard personnel to carry out immigration enforcement despite objections from Newsom. BREAKING: House Democrat INDICTED, Faces Up To 17 Years In Prison

A federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) for “forcibly impeding and interfering with federal law enforcement officers,” U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba announced. “Today a federal grand jury seated in Newark, New Jersey returned a three-count indictment charging U.S. Representative LaMonica McIver with forcibly impeding and interfering with federal law enforcement officers. This indictment has a maximum penalty of 8 years for Count One, an additional maximum penalty of 8 years for Count Two, and a maximum penalty of 1 year in prison for Count Three,” Habba said. “As I have stated in the past, it is my Constitutional obligation as the Chief Federal Law Enforcement Officer for New Jersey to ensure that our federal partners are protected when executing their duties.  While people are free to express their views for or against particular policies, they must not do so in a manner that endangers law enforcement and the communities those officers serve,” she continued. “Today’s decision by the grand jury is the next step in a process that my Office will pursue to a just end,” she added. This indictment has a maximum penalty of 8 years for Count One, an additional maximum penalty of 8 years for Count Two, and a maximum penalty of 1 year in prison for Count Three. As I have stated in the past, it is my Constitutional obligation as the Chief Federal Law Enforcement Officer for New Jersey to ensure that our federal partners are protected when executing their duties. While people are free to express their views for or against particular policies, they must not do so in a manner that endangers law enforcement and the communities those officers serve. Today’s decision by the grand jury is the next step in a process that my Office will pursue to a just end. “This indictment is no more justified than the original charges. I will not be intimidated,” McIver wrote on X. “The facts of this case will prove I was simply doing my job and will expose these proceedings for what they are: a brazen attempt at political intimidation. This indictment is no more justified than the original charges, and is an effort by Trump’s administration to dodge accountability for the chaos ICE caused and scare me out of doing the work I was elected to do,” McIver’s statement read. “But it won’t work—I will not be intimidated. The facts are on our side, I will be entering a plea of not guilty, I’m grateful for the support of my community, and I look forward to my day in court,” it added. This indictment is no more justified than the original charges. I will not be intimidated. My full statement: pic.twitter.com/C0aZyrnNx8 — Rep. LaMonica McIver (@RepLaMonica) June 10, 2025 A closer look: From the Associated Press: McIver, a Democrat, had been charged in a complaint by Habba last month with two assault charges stemming from the May 9 visit to Newark’s Delaney Hall — a 1,000-bed, privately owned facility that Immigration and Customs Enforcement uses as a detention center. McIver disputed the allegations as baseless and defended her presence at the facility as part of her authorized role as a member of Congress. Her lawyer, former U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Paul Fishman, said in a statement that they would challenge the allegations “head-on” in court. “The legal process will expose this prosecution for what it truly is — political retaliation against a dedicated public servant who refuses to shy away from her oversight responsibilities,” Fishman said. Habba said two of the counts carry a maximum sentence of up to eight years in prison. A third has a maximum sentence of one year. She characterized the charges as “forcibly impeding and interfering with federal law enforcement officers.” The indictment is the latest development in a legal-political drama that has seen President Donald Trump’s administration take Democratic officials from New Jersey’s largest city to court, tapping into the president’s immigration crackdown and Democrats’ efforts to respond. The prosecution of McIver is a rare federal criminal case against a sitting member of Congress for allegations other than fraud or corruption.

Source: Democrat tensions escalate over David Hogg in DNC vice chair role

According to a recent report, tensions are escalating between David Hogg and the leadership on the Democratic National Committee (DNC), as the organization is purportedly considering the possibility of "redoing" Hogg’s election to the position of vice chair -- instead choosing someone better fitted for the position.

I too wish we would all just get back to the Bible and make that alone our creed; nothing more and nothing less.
