A British reporter was traumatized while reporting on the streets of London after being surrounded by a group of radical pro-Palestinian demonstrators who were shouting at her. GB News’ political correspondent Katherine Forster said that the incident happened on Saturday while she was reporting on a Palestinian event with her camera crew. “This is the seventh consecutive Saturday that there’s been a pro-Palestinian protest in central London‚” she began. “I’ve reported on a few of these. They tend to follow a similar pattern. They start out very peaceful. There’s babies and buggies‚ there’s people with dogs‚ people in wheelchairs. All ages‚ all ethnicities.” She said that during these demonstrations‚ things “often turn unpleasant” when the extremist crowds begin to get riled up. “In the last hour or so‚ we‚ the cameramen‚ our back watcher‚ who’s here to keep us safe‚ had really quite an unpleasant experience‚” she said. “A guy on a [loudspeaker] shouting at us wanted to know who we were broadcasting from. I was shaking by the end of it.” “We then moved to a completely different place‚ and at the end of that live‚ lo and behold‚ he appeared again. The police spoke to him. He’s been moved on. We’ve been told to stay here and we’re filing a police report‚” she continued. “But there’s always an element. And of course‚ it’s really important that the press can bring you the news‚ can tell you what’s going on. If it wasn’t for the press‚ we wouldn’t even know what was happening in Israel and Gaza.
