“The Wonder Years” actress Danica McKellar said her Great American Family colleague Candace Cameron Bure inspired her conversion to Christianity.  “I’ve been around Christianity my whole life in some way‚ shape‚ or form‚ but it never really clicked‚” McKellar said during an appearance on Fox &; Friends. “And my good friend Candace Cameron Bure… she brought me to church. And all I can say is that something happened.” “All I know is… I was flooded with this love and understanding‚” the celeb continued.  “I’d always been so biased against Christianity for various reasons‚ mostly because of the bad reputation it’s gotten with causing wars‚ and you think‚ ‘Oh‚ Christians are these really judgmental people‚’ and all this religious stuff. The truth is‚ Jesus was anti-religion. He was anti-religion‚ and I didn’t even realize that.” McKellar explained how her father also converted to Christianity when he was in his 40s. “Everything I always thought about there being some higher power and wanting to do the right thing‚ just because it’s the right thing‚ when no one’s watching‚ why that matters‚ and it all just came into focus. A dog mom named Jackie picked up her four-legged friend from surgery only to find her elderly neighbor waiting with the sweetest surprise. Knowing that the pet owner would likely have her hands full‚ the 86-year-old woman stood outside to save her a parking space. Even though it was raining‚ she didn’t leave the spot until Jackie and her pooch returned. BREAKING NEWS: Sam the Elf is in stable condition after emergency elf surgery. His injuries were the result of a near-fatal altercation with the family dog‚ Zoey. The Thelen family from Oviedo‚ Florida‚ discovered the vicious mauling when 7-year-old Aubree woke up. Seeing Sam‚ her Elf on the Shelf‚ lying on the floor dismembered caused her to run shrieking from the room. Mom Jennifer went to investigate. The damage was immediately visible. Sam’s right arm was severed at the shoulder. He had gouges on his face and lacerations on his right leg and left arm. Knowing that the belief in Christmas was hanging on the brink‚ Jennifer set about to get Sam into elf surgery. Image from YouTube. Sam was rushed to the trauma unit at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Knowing that you can’t touch an Elf on the Shelf (they will lose their magic)‚ the surgical team carefully triaged Sam’s injuries. An emergency shipment of Magical Santa Gloves arrived just in time‚ allowing the “doctor” to work on Sam’s injuries without interrupting his magic. Image from Facebook. As soon as Sam arrived in the surgical wing‚ “Doctor” Ashley got busy reattaching the amputated limb. This was the trickiest part of the surgery and required precision. What a brave patient! “Doctor‚” Ashley stitched the arm back in place and repaired the lacerations with the practiced ease of a veteran elf surgeon.
