Missing child from Trotwood
"TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Trotwood police are asking for help finding a missing 1-year-old boy.
Police said Cannon Harris-Brown was last seen wearing an orange onesie and black tennis shoes. He is Black, 2 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds.
The child’s non-custodial father, Caesar Brown, was the last person known to have the child. Police said Caesar Brown took the 1-year-old for a one hour visit on Tuesday, June 28, and has not returned him since then.

Ohio Missing girl.
"(WKBN) — A teen last seen at the Mosquito Lake campgrounds on July 7 is now believed to be in the Columbus area, according to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s Office.
Makenzie Carson, 16, was last seen in the park’s campgrounds at around 1 a.m. Thursday. She was originally believed to be with her boyfriend in the Akron area.
According to the Attorney General’s office, Carson is now believed to be with her boyfriend in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Carson is 5’1″ and 135 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with “Pirates” on the front in orange lettering, blue jean shorts, white fuzzy Crocs and a red long-sleeve crop-top shirt under the hoodie.

Nevada, man's DNA linked to 1982 murder of California girl
"A Reno, Nevada, man was in custody Saturday after California investigators said a new look at DNA evidence implicated him in the 40-year-old murder case of a kindergartner.
Robert John Lanoue, 70, was in Nevada's Washoe County Detention Facility based on allegations he violated a condition of parole and is a wanted fugitive for the Seaside, California, murder of 5-year-old Anne Pham, according to jail records and the area district attorney.
Bond for the defendant was listed at more than $1 million."

The murders of India and Cody Smith.

The case of India and Cody caught the attention of the nation back in 1997. It was even featured as a documentary in Forensics: You Decide in the episode “Nature’s Evidence.”

Missing Ohio man finally identified.
"NEW CASTLE, Ind. (AP) — A man whose body was found nearly 19 years ago behind an abandoned gas station in eastern Indiana has been identified.
The man was Daniel Diaz of Columbus, Ohio, and he was born Sept. 18, 1977, Henry County Coroner Stacey Guffey said Saturday, making him 26 at the time his body was found Oct. 2, 2003, near the Interstate 70 interchange with State Road 109.
He died from a gunshot wound to the head, Guffey said.
When the body was found, it had no identification with it, and fingerprints, DNA and dental records were sent to agencies with no initial success, Guffey told The Courier-Times."

Arrest made in 2005 Cold Case Double Murder of Ohio WWII Veteran and Wife

An elderly couple were found dead amidst a bloody and brutal scene of violence inside their Cleveland home in the spring of 2005. Now, nearly two decades later, police believe they’ve found the killer.
Shelley Susan Thompson-Lemoine, 41, was arrested in Angleton, Texas on Friday. She hails from Freeport, Texas and was picked up outside of a parole office, according to Houston-based ABC affiliate KTRK.
She is currently being detained in the Liberty County Jail, according to the Bluebonnet News.
In mid-April 2005, 80-year-old WWII veteran Antonio Rodriguez and 77-year-old Luz Rodriguez were found beaten and strangled to death inside their own home. The gruesome discovery was made by their daughter, Carolina Tejeda, who came over that day to make her parents lunch, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter. She believed her parents were sleeping, so she went inside. First she found her father on the floor; then her mother in the bedroom."
