DOMESTIC. The Covid 19 vaccine Nuvaxovid is stopped for all people under the age of 30. The Public Health Authority has decided this after several reports of serious side effects.
The announcement comes after FHM received signals that the vaccine leads to an increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis.
- We are following the situation closely and await more data. But those who are younger and recently vaccinated with Nuvaxovid need not worry. The risk is very small and you can continue with the next dose with another vaccine, says Sören Andersson, head of the unit for vaccination programs in a press release.
