Who is the man trying to attract children?

DOMESTIC. The police in northwestern Skåne are now releasing images of a man who is suspected of trying to lure children with him for sexual purposes.
According to the police, it is a man - possibly more than one - who is trying to contact children and young people in Skåne and lure them with him.
In some cases, the suspect has also requested sex for payment. On one occasion, on March 22, 2023, witnesses in Helsingborg managed to take pictures of the man.
So far, incidents have come to the attention of the police in three different municipalities in northwestern Scania. But according to the police, it is still too early to say for sure whether the cases have any connection to each other.
In one of the incidents, which is said to have occurred in Helsingborg, a girl of about 7 years was contacted by a man who wanted her to accompany him. However, a witness intervened and scared the perpetrator away. The police are now seeking the identity of the girl with whom the man made contact.
No children or young people have been subjected to physical violence in these contexts, according to the police.
