The American Civil Liberties Union joined with the conservative legal group First Liberty Institute on Monday to challenge the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s restrictions on advertising as First Amendment violations. The two groups filed a lawsuit on behalf of WallBuilder Presentations‚ an organization that raises awareness about the “moral‚ religious‚ and constitutional foundation on which America was built‚” after WMATA said the ads it wanted to display on buses violated its advertising guidelines. WMATA restricts ads “intended to influence members of the public regarding an issue on which there are varying public opinions‚” along with those that “promote or oppose any religion‚ religious practice or belief.” “Though WMATA never identified the specific issue of public controversy that it believed the proposed advertisements addressed‚ it is apparent that WallBuilders was prohibited from advertising because its proposed ads sought to address issues of public importance from a religious viewpoint‚” the complaint alleges. The ads display depictions of Founding Fathers overlayed with the word “Christian?” and invite viewers to learn about the “faith of our founders” on the Wallbuilders website‚ according to the lawsuit. “The case against WMATA is a critical reminder of what’s at stake when government entities exercise selective censorship‚” Arthur Spitzer‚ senior counsel at ACLU-D.C.‚ said in a statement. “The First Amendment doesn’t play favorites; it ensures that all voices‚ regardless of their message‚ have the right to be heard.” The lawsuit includes multiple photos of ads WMATA did find permissible‚ though they appear to violate its guidelines. In other trannie news‚ one transgender girl sang about wanting to “pee in peace” as a way to protest backlash that transgender girls get for trying to use the girls bathroom.  Another transgender sang a song about getting deadnamed. Despite his five-o’clock shadow and his very obviously boyish figure‚ he claimed he couldn’t be called names like “Danny” or “James.”  Finally we saw a little video of Lizzo who‚ per usual‚ was shaking her butt.  This is not entertainment. MRC Vice President Dan Schneider says the “tide has turned” against government-funded censorship. MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider and The Federalist’s Ben Weingarten went on Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt Tonight on Monday to discuss how the federal government outsourced anti-free speech operations to private entities‚ including biased ratings firm NewsGuard‚ through grants. As this censorship funding is expected to soon be cut from spending legislation by House Republicans‚ Schneider predicted‚ “This is the beginning of the end of that Biden censorship effort.” Schmitt asked Schneider about the government’s funding of the biased and secretive blacklister Global Disinformation Index (GDI) “to silence conservative speech.” Even Democrats are willing to defund this anti-free speech nonsense‚ Schmitt suggested. But Schneider offered a different perspective. “The Democrats are doing the bare minimum. They are fighting tooth and nail‚ hammer and tong‚ to try and keep all that funding in there‚” he said. Schneider discussed the State Department program that funded GDI. “The State Department Global Engagement Center … was doing these censorship programs. They agreed to stop funding them‚ but they did not claw back any of the money.” So Schneider suggested reform. “What we need to be doing now is actually clawing back illegally spent money.” Weingarten also slammed the federal government for funding these “left-wing speech assassins.” Not mincing words‚ he added‚ “The federal government should not be using our tax dollars to silence ourselves. And so there should be amendments just like this included in every funding bill.” Schneider also praised House Speaker Mike Johnson who he said “fought hard to stop the Biden censorship regime.” He added that "this is the beginning of the end of that Biden censorship effort." While the war is not over‚ free speech advocates can have hope. As Schneider put it‚ “We’ve got a long fight in front of us‚ but we’re beginning to win. The tide has turned.” Weingarten agreed with Schneider but also added that it might take “Supreme Court action to change” the federal censorship activities. He cited the landmark Missouri v. Biden case going to the U.S. Supreme Court‚ which cited exclusive MRC research based on CensorTrack.org data. “That’s the next phase: defund‚ dismantle and criminal penalties for those who violate our most sacred rights‚” Weingarten added‚ referring to proposed legislative solutions. Fox News’s Jesse Watters did not appreciate that Target is selling a LGBTQ-flag waving nutcracker‚ so The Daily Show sent correspondent Grace Kuhlenschmidt out on the streets to interview ordinary people in an attempt to show Watters was out of touch. However‚ she took the segment from the realm of the troll to the realm of the cringe and even the disrespectful as she declared Christmas to be “the queerest holiday of all” because Mary was a virgin and certain classic songs have the word “gay” in them‚ amongst other things. Kuhlenschmidt began by showing a man the nutcracker in question‚ “I’m going to show you something and I want you to try not to lose your shit‚ okay?”     After revealing the toy‚ the man almost sounded like Watters‚ “Well‚ it’s definitely just not the classic because its choice in clothing is a little suspect‚” to which Kuhlenschmidt replied‚ “You almost lost your shit.” A few interviews later‚ Kuhlenschmidt was talking to a second man when she tried to make a sex joke‚ “It’s crazy that they’re doing this‚ right? Like‚ they’re taking this manly Christmas icon‚ who puts nuts in its mouth‚ typically dancing with sugar plum fairies‚ and they're making this gay?  After the man claimed he “never associated the nutcracker with manliness‚” Kuhlenschmidt moved to a discussion with a woman and decided to go after the Nativity Story‚ “Christmas has never been gay at all. It's always been about a beautiful straight couple‚ a virgin and her husband who have never had sex and he’s just remarkably chill when she gets pregnant.” The woman‚ more on Kuhlenschmidt’s side than the first guy‚ falsely added “Illegal immigrants too‚ you forget that part?” Meanwhile‚ in a different interview‚ Kuhlenschmidt sarcastically lamented‚ “Looking at this‚ you can't tell me that they’re not sexualizing Christmas‚” to which another woman proclaimed‚ “Yeah‚ maybe‚ but also‚ Christmas is full of sparkle‚ so I feel like—” That led Kuhlenschmidt to declare in a voiceover‚ “How have I been so blind? It’s the queerest holiday of all.” Back in the immediately preceding interview‚ Kuhlenschmidt continued‚ “How did I not see this? The twinkling lights‚ the tinsel‚ working with elves? Christmas is so gay.” After musing that Mrs. Claus was having a lesbian affair‚ Kuhlenschmidt returned to another man who was not as convinced as she started to sing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas‚” “Have yourself a merry little Christmas‚ make the yuletide...” The man‚ almost certainly aware that the word “gay” meant something completely different in 1943‚ replied “have fun.” Kuhlenschmidt tried again with the “illegal immigrants” lady and got the correct “gay” answer. Reaching even further back to 1877‚ Kuhlenschmidt recalled the lyrics to “Deck the Halls‚” “Don we now our…” and got the correct answer from the “never associated the nutcracker with manliness” guy. A self-described "secular progressive activist" from San Francisco who vehemently opposes abortion has taken two brave steps to forward the pro-life cause. First‚ she helped create a daring TV ad that exposes the "brutality of abortion‚" especially those performed late in pregnancy. Then‚ she exploited a legal loophole to ensure that TV producers wouldn't censor it: She decided to run for president.Terrisa Bukovinac‚ the founder of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising — a group dedicated to "nonviolent civil disobedience in defense of the unborn and their parents" — first made headlines in March 2022‚ when she and fellow activist Lauren Handy claimed to have found the remains of more than 100 aborted babies‚ including five who were "either killed in partial-birth abortions‚ or left to die after birth‚" in a box marked "medical waste" outside the Washington Surgi-Center in Washington‚ D.C. The five mostly formed babies later became known as the "D.C. five.""Pulling their broken bodies out of that box was one of the worst moments of my life‚" Bukovinac said on her campaign website. Bukovinac and Handy transported the box to Handy's residence‚ where they began documenting their alleged discovery on film. They also began making arrangements to lay the babies to rest respectfully. They gave each of the 115 babies a name and‚ though PAAU touts strong "secular" beliefs‚ made sure each had "a funeral Mass" as well. Despite their care for these victims of abortion and their radical activism on behalf of the unborn‚ Bukovinac and others in PAAU were already facing strong opposition‚ especially from Democrats. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser‚ a Democrat‚ sidestepped calls to investigate possible crimes at the Washington Surgi-Center and instead accused Handy of engaging in "extremist anti-abortion activity."Executive Assistant Chief of Police Ashan M. Benedict later stated that the babies in the box "were aborted in accordance with D.C. law." He then even hinted that investigators were looking into how the five fully-developed fetuses ended up in Handy's residence."There doesn’t seem to be anything criminal in nature right now about that‚ except for how they got into this house‚" he said.As recently as September‚ the DCPD told Breitbart News that the investigation into "the circumstances surrounding the discovery of five fetuses in a residence" remained "open." "At this time‚ there is no investigation into the medical provider‚" the department said.But Bukovinac and the rest of PAAU were not deterred. Tired of having no pro-life representation in the Democratic Party‚ Bukovinac decided to take the lead and launched a campaign for president as a pro-life Democrat. "I’m running to ensure the pro-life Democrats have a future in politics‚" she declared on her website‚ Terrisa for President 2024.Bukovinac seems to harbor sincere beliefs‚ many of which would likely make conservatives recoil in horror. She supports immigration and racial "justice‚" as well as the "abolition" of prisons. She also partly blames the "exploitative capitalist system" for the tragedy of abortion. Still‚ she strongly rails against "the Abortion Industrial Complex‚" and her pro-life radicalism may make her an attractive candidate for some Christians and other conservatives.She also has almost no chance of winning her party's nomination for president‚ which makes her campaign seem like a waste of time and resources. But on her website and in some social media posts‚ Bukovinac has indicated that her campaign may not be about winning the nomination at all but rather about ensuring that the footage of the D.C. five can reach the masses.Bukovinac created a powerful albeit graphic campaign ad‚ featuring the D.C. five‚ to "disrupt the consciences of the American people" and expose what she calls "the brutality of abortion‚" particularly "later abortion." She then submitted the ad to be aired in the Boston/New Hampshire market during "The Jimmy Fallon Show" on NBC. And since all stations with an FCC license must run the ads of federal candidates‚ Bukovinac has taken advantage of a federal law to ensure her pro-life work won't be silenced. "As a federal presidential candidate‚ I can amplify our message‚" she proudly boasts on her website. On Monday‚ she tweeted a similar message. A California jury determined Monday that Google’s app store‚ Google Play‚ is an illegal monopoly‚ the New York Post reported.Epic Games‚ a video game firm that developed the game Fortnite‚ filed an antitrust lawsuit against Google approximately a year ago‚ accusing the technology company’s app store of maintaining an unlawful monopoly by using a “bribe and block” scheme to stifle competition. Last week‚ presiding United States District Judge James Donato accused Google of intentionally deleting “disturbing evidence” relevant to the case. The judge noted that there was evidence indicating that the tech firm erased internal chat logs and instructed employees to label some documents as “privileged and confidential.”Google’s CEO‚ Sundar Pichai‚ told one worker to “change the settings of this group [chat] to history off‚” according to the lawsuit. Moments later‚ Pichai then attempted to delete the message instructing the employee to change the chat’s settings‚ it claimed.Donato called Google’s actions “deeply troubling” and “a frontal assault on the fair administration of justice.”“I have never seen anything so egregious‚” the judge stated.Jurors were told they “may infer that the deleted Chat messages contained evidence that would have been unfavorable to Google in this case.”On Monday‚ the jury unanimously determined that Google Play operates as an illegal monopoly despite the company repeatedly denying any wrongdoing. Black Lives Matter destroyed Juwan Howard‚ the University of Michigan basketball coach. The movement unleashed a poisonous and volatile racial animus and victim mentality within one of the best young athletes I ever covered as a sports writer. I met Howard in the fall of 1992. He was a sophomore basketball player at the University of Michigan. I was a 25-year-old journalist given my first big assignment. The Ann Arbor News hired me to cover Michigan’s infamous Fab 5 team. Chris Webber was the best player on that squad. Jalen Rose had the biggest personality. Howard was the team’s emotional leader‚ the rock teammates and coaches counted on as a steadying influence. Webber and Rose reached greater heights than Howard in the NBA. But they could not match Howard’s longevity. He played 19 seasons in “The Association” and earned $151 million. When his career finished in 2012‚ his on-court reputation was impeccable. The Miami Heat welcomed him into their organization as an assistant coach. In 2019‚ when his alma mater named him head coach of the Wolverines‚ no one who followed Howard’s career would have predicted that his lack of emotional control and anger toward white men would potentially wreck his coaching career. But that’s where we are today. Howard is under investigation‚ once again‚ as the University of Michigan sorts through his latest angry meltdown. This time‚ there is no film footage. According to reports‚ on Friday Howard engaged in a nasty confrontation with longtime Michigan strength and conditioning coach Jon Sanderson. The initial reports claimed it was a fight. The latest reports say it was a nonphysical confrontation. Whatever happened‚ the altercation was bad enough that Sanderson did not travel with the team for its game on Sunday with Iowa. Juwan Howard thinks he’s a victim. Victims make terrible coaches. Howard’s contract at Michigan has a “zero tolerance” policy as it relates to his behavior. In February 2022‚ Howard struck a Wisconsin assistant coach after arguing with the Badgers’ head coach in the handshake line. Howard’s punch ignited a brief brawl between his players and Wisconsin players. The Big Ten suspended Howard for five games. In March 2021‚ Howard sparked an ugly confrontation between himself and Maryland’s head coach. It took four or five people connected to the Michigan basketball team to restrain him. In December 2022‚ Howard exploded on a referee in the final minute of a loss to North Carolina. Howard’s players struggled to restrain him. This season‚ Howard has yet to coach the Wolverines. He’s recovering from heart surgery he had in September. Despite only acting as an observer‚ Howard has managed to get tossed from a game. With his team playing poorly against Texas Tech‚ Howard argued with referees as his team exited the court at halftime. He received two technical fouls and was ejected. Howard’s incident with Sanderson reportedly revolves around a dispute about the rehabilitation of Howard’s son‚ a member of the team. A crippling affliction If Juwan Howard were a retired football player‚ the media would claim he’s suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy — CTE. In reality‚ he’s suffering from BLM. Since the death of George Floyd‚ Howard has decorated the Michigan warm-ups with BLM slogans. He’s been one of the most outspoken proponents of Black Lives Matter. He’s not alone. The BLM disease is rampant among black people. It’s a mindset that says all black problems are rooted in the existence of white people and white authority. When Howard loses a game‚ he’s been programmed to believe white people cost him the points he needed to win. It’s white derangement syndrome. Academia‚ corporate media‚ and the high-profile race hustlers that academia and corporate media promote have brainwashed black people into believing white people are God and control black people’s destinies. As a black person‚ if you do not believe white people control your destiny‚ academia‚ high-profile race hustlers‚ and corporate and social media will smear you as a sellout. Your family and friends will join in the smear. White derangement syndrome is a mass psychosis crippling black men. I’ve watched it destroy Juwan Howard. Thirty years ago‚ Howard was one of the best young people in all of sports. In high school‚ he was part of the National Honor Society. He was homecoming king. He was president of his high school’s Senior Boys’ Council. He was the mature‚ steady presence on the highest-profile college basketball team of all time. He declared for the NBA after three years in college‚ but circled back to complete his degree in communications alongside his classmates. For two decades‚ NBA teams sought his leadership and intangibles. He was groomed in Pat Riley’s system. What happened? Juwan Howard lived the American dream. He worked hard and used his God-given talents to elevate his station in life. From the age of 12‚ the basketball world wooed Howard and provided him with financial‚ educational‚ and emotional support. Why so angry?
