Tim Allen’s ‘The Santa Clauses’ Co-Star Casey Wilson Says He Belongs On The Naughty List
Tim Allen once again took up the red coat and jolly hat of Father Christmas in The Santa Clauses on Disney+. The show premiered with a ten-episode first season followed by two episodes in season two. According to Allen’s co-star Casey Wilson‚ however‚ Allen had her saying “bah humbug” while filming.
The Santa Clauses continues the story established in The Santa Clause film series‚ but this time sees Scott Calvin realizing he must soon retire. He attempts to balance his family and work life while finding a replacement as he readies for a life outside of the workshop. Wilson plays the adult version of a child from 1994’s The Santa Clause. Here’s how she describes working with Allen.

43-year-old Wilson plays Sara‚ a character whom Allen’s Santa first encountered years ago as a child. When not filming – primarily on television but with a sizable list of movies on her resume – she is running her podcast‚ Bitch Sesh. On the most recent episode‚ Wilson shines a spotlight on Allen’s behavior while filming The Santa Clauses.

“Tim Allen was such a b—‚” she claimed. “So I’m in a scene. It’s just me and Tim Allen and I’m supposed to throw things at him‚” she went on to recount‚ “I think he’s a burglar. So he’s coming down the chimney‚ obviously as Santa‚ and I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder‚ basically like a home invasion scene. So I’m throwing things at him.”
She continued‚ “[He] goes over to the producer who is standing four feet from me and goes‚ and I hear him‚ he goes‚ ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines.’ The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes‚ ‘Um‚ Tim would ask that you stop stepping on his lines.’”

Wilson has plenty of experience working with all sorts of thespians. Her career began as recently as 2002 but she’s wasted no time stacking up that filmography and can be seen in everything from Gone Girl‚ Julie &; Julia‚ Bride Wars‚ Ed‚ Saturday Night Live‚ Aqua Teen Hunger Force‚ Marry Me‚ Fresh Off the Boat‚ Curb Your Enthusiasm‚ Heathers‚ and much more.
But this incident still really stood out‚ perhaps because her own children love The Santa Clause films so much‚ or that one of her dearest friends is a producer‚ factors that inspired her to try out for the pilot episode; there was a time Wilson had “buried this story” to try and leave it in the past.

It didn’t help that the day in question continued in the same manner Wilson felt was so questionable. According to Wilson‚ Allen stayed around just long enough to shoot his portion of the scene. When it was time for a close-up with Wilson‚ he called out “Leaving‚” dropped his coat on the floor‚ and left.
“And they hustle in his stand-in — lovely man‚ who actually was much nicer to act against‚” added Wilson‚ “People are scurrying to pick up his velvet Santa coat. He’s a b—” A crew member cemented this perception of Allen in her eyes by saying “You’re seeing him on a good day.”
