The myriad of gaffes by President Joe Biden has “nothing to do with his brain‚” a veteran Democrat in Congress said on Saturday as he pointed to Biden’s lifelong fight to overcome a stutter. Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC)‚ a co-chair of Biden’s re-election campaign‚ defended the 81-year-old president during an interview on CNN as polls show up to 86% of Americans believe Biden is too old to serve a second term in the White House. “If Joe Biden commits a gaffe‚ a guy who stuttered all of his childhood‚ into his adulthood and everybody knows his stuttering is what caused a lot of his speech impediments‚ and we know that. It has nothing to do with his brain‚ he stumbles one time and everybody says‚ ‘He’s too old to be the president‚'” Clyburn said. The congressman then alluded to the release last week of a new survey of historians who ranked all the presidents from best to worst‚ placing Biden in 14 place and Trump in last place. “Look‚ we had a president of these United States‚ I saw the rankings the other day‚ who was in the top ten‚ and some people got him in the top three: Franklin Roosevelt was in a wheelchair. It didn’t bother his brand‚” Clyburn said. Fresh questions about Biden’s ability to lead effectively were spurred by this month’s release of a report by special counsel Robert Hur that criticized Biden’s handling of classified documents. Although Hur did not recommend charges‚ the report added that Biden exhibited memory problems that likely would preclude a jury from convicting him. Biden responded to Hur’s findings in an impromptu press conference during which he insisted that his memory was “fine” and then mixed up world leaders. In the days leading up to the report’s unveiling‚ Biden made headlines for talking about discussions with European heads of state who had died by the time he said the conversations took place. California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom said during an interview over the weekend that former President Donald Trump was a “big” reason why Democrats have been successful in recent election cycles. Newsom made the remarks during a Sunday interview on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” with Kristen Welker when asked whether Democrats were underestimating Trump’s strength as a candidate hearing into the 2024 presidential election. “I think he’s weakness masquerading as strength‚” Newsom said. “I think he’s more unhinged. He’s less interesting than he was even a few years ago. I mean‚ you’ve heard his comments just this week. More just overt racist comments that he’s made. It’s just extraordinary how quickly he is unraveling in real time‚ including just on basic policy issues like repealing Obamacare‚ which is overwhelmingly supported. Biden National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan demanded on Sunday that House Republicans give Ukraine all the resources that it wants to fight its war against Russia while making no demands for Democrats to find a compromise in order to get a funding bill passed in Congress. Sullivan’s interview on NBC News’s “Meet The Press” comes after Democrats tried to pass a border security bill attached to Ukraine funding earlier this month that lacked most of what Republicans wanted to see done to fix the border crisis. “We need to understand that‚ actually‚ Ukraine has‚ in many ways‚ succeeded in thwarting the fundamental objective of Vladimir Putin‚ which was to subjugate the country of Ukraine‚” Sullivan said. “Now‚ Ukraine has also taken back roughly half the territory that Russia occupied in the early months of the war. We are looking at some setbacks‚ including in recent days‚ because Ukraine didn’t have enough ammunition to defend the town of Avdiivka in the east. But at the end of the day‚ Ukraine still has the capacity – if we provide them the tools and resources they need – to be able to prevail in this war. And it is up to us‚ the United States‚ and our allies and partners‚ to deliver on our commitment. Although James Biden denied in his opening statement that Joe Biden had any involvement in his business activities‚ Comer said two witnesses with business ties to the Biden family‚ Devon Archer and Tony Bobulinski‚ and other associates have made claims that clash with what James Biden testified. “They all say the same thing‚ that the Biden family capitalized off of Joe Biden. Noah Peters —The Singing Barber—is winning hearts on American Idol with his unique and charming chair-side manner. As his nickname suggests‚ Peters has made a career out of cutting people’s hair while putting on a concert. And it turns out that there is a beautiful yet heart-wrenching reason he fell into that job.  Before Noah took his chance on American Idol‚ he was dedicating his time to his former business‚ Rockridge Barbershop LLC in Grundy‚ Virginia. Cutting hair has been his dream since he was a child‚ and his wife‚ Kailee‚ urged him to make his dream a reality.  “When I was younger‚ I watched the barber pull money out of his pocket and thought that was going to be me one day‚” he told ABC 5 in 2022.  Instagram Noah said he met his Kailee in a twist of fate. He spent part of his childhood in Chattanooga‚ TN‚ and he loved it. But when his dad got a job as a pastor in Grundy‚ Noah had to leave everything behind. He wasn’t happy about the change‚ but he met Kailee during his first day in town. And in an instant‚ everything felt right.  “God worked it out that I met my wife when I moved down here.
