Airport radar systems, similar to those tracking planes, might be accidentally signaling our presence to intelligent alien civilizations, iflscience.com reports. Instead of picking up TV broadcasts—like old episodes of The Simpsons—extraterrestrials could be detecting the powerful radio waves leaking from Earth’s radars, especially military ones. Researchers estimate these signals could be detected up to 200 light-years away. Every time an airport radar scans the sky for aircraft, it sends radio waves into space. With over 40,000 airports worldwide (many equipped with radar), the combined signal is enormous—about 2×10¹⁵ watts. An alien civilization with technology like the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia could potentially detect these emissions. Military radar systems are even more distinctive. They’re highly focused, sweeping the sky like a lighthouse beam. Though they make up only 5% of total emissions, their unique patterns would clearly stand out as artificial to any advanced observers. “Civilizations can actually transmit signals without wanting to do that, unintentionally,” said lead researcher Ramiro Caisse Saide from the University of Manchester. “We have technology here and produce radio emissions. We want to understand if a civilization with enough technology could detect our own radio emission.” Saide’s earlier work found that cell tower signals might be detectable within 10 light-years. Airport radar, however, reaches much farther. The team simulated how these signals would appear from different star systems. Since radar distribution isn’t uniform, the strength would vary depending on Earth’s orientation to an observer. Proxima Centauri, the closest star with a known exoplanet, is just 4.2 light-years away. While 200 light-years may seem small in a galaxy spanning 100,000 light-years, it still contains over 120,000 stars—plenty of potential listeners. “SETI is a field of study which uses scientific methodologies to assess the question whether we are alone or not in the universe; and we use technology as a proxy for intelligence,” Saide explained. “The idea of my research is to try to understand this: if we have a civilization out there with the same capabilities in the radio domain, could they detect our own radio footprint?” The post Earth’s Airport Radars Could Be Seen by Alien Civilizations appeared first on Anomalien.com.

On Tuesday, Anderson not only rattled off several racist, including Nazi, inspired parody movies and TV shows for President Trump’s new streaming service but also took aim at the Big Beautiful Bill, claiming “the only bill that's [bleep] more young people is Belichick.” Anderson announced that “Trump’s media company has just made their streaming platform, Truth+, available worldwide. They also announced that Truth+ will be the first streaming network to call BET+ the N-word.”     He continued, “In all fairness, I looked it up, and they do have some great shows on Truth+ like The Amazing Racist, Friday Night Whites, Third Reich From The Sun, Illegal Alien vs. Predator, The Search for OJ’s Gold, Dog The Bounty Hunter’s Roadkill Kitchen, Rupaul’s Normal Guys Dressed in Khakis Race, Dumb[Bleep] Dynasty, and White-ish.” Anderson did something like this last year for the RNC where he listed a bunch of parody GOP rappers, including the Wu Klux Klan. He’s also been prone to call black Republicans Uncle Toms. Moving on, Anderson teed up a clip of Trump, “You know, the show I really want to see is the one where Trump teaches kids new vocabulary words, like this lesson he dropped today while talking about the recent bombing in Iran.” In the video, Trump said of the B-2s, “Those machines flew for 37 straight hours and didn't stop. They went skedaddle. You know the word skedaddle? I mean skedaddle.” Anderson quipped, “Yes, we know the word 'skedaddle.' As in, we'd like to see you skedaddle your ass out of the White House.” Shifting gears yet again, Anderson declared, “You know, Trump has been riding high after Congress passed his Big Beautiful Bill. Now, this bill gives $100 billion to ICE, kicks 17 million Americans off their health care, and cuts food assistance for kids. At this point, the only bill that's [bleep] more young people is Belichick.” Bill Belichick is the 73-year old former head coach of the New England Patriots, who has a well-earned reputation of not being the warmest personality in front of a camera, and now has the same job at the University of North Carolina. His girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, is a 24-year old former cheerleader. The fact that Belichick is three times her age is only one part of the utterly bizarre nature of their relationship. What is also bizarre is how the late night comedy shows continue to rail against the Big Beautiful Bill’s Medicaid and food stamp reforms without any mention of work requirements. LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The vehicle convoy made up of Customs and Border Protection, Homeland Security Investigations, and the California National Guard was immense as it made its way toward MacArthur Park to conduct an immigration sweep of the crime-ridden area.The joint effort between the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense was in conjunction with other enforcement operations happening in Los Angeles County on Monday amid Democratic leaders calling for the raids to end and locals becoming increasingly unhinged.Bystanders on the street started to heckle and jeer at the convoy arriving at MacArthur Park. Once agents exited vehicles and formed a perimeter, people started to gather to voice their anger at the operation. With the high-profile operations and anti-DHS riots, the normal street vendors were not at the park. No arrests were made, but the operation was also intended to show that the federal government has the ability to deploy a large number of assets in the crowded city. Bass asked when the task force would leave, to which Bovino replied that agents would leave once their mission was over.The small crowd of protesters were just as mad at Bass as they were at the federal agents because they view Bass as collaborating with the Trump administration by allowing the police department to conduct crowd control during riots and protests. The death toll continues to climb after tragic flash floods struck Central Texas, particularly in Kerrville, where the Guadalupe River surged and claimed over 100 lives.Of those lives missing or taken, some of the most devastating have been the young campers and counselors from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls' camp.The aftermath is undeniably horrific for all involved. And while help is offered, heroism is plenty, and prayers are being sent around the globe, the left sees not just the lives lost and homes destroyed but an opportunity to spread blame.Rosie O’Donnell wasted no time doing just that, pointing the finger at President Trump for the disaster.“These are going to be the results we’re going to start to see on a daily basis because he’s put this country in so much danger by his horrible, horrible decisions and this ridiculously immoral bill that he’s just signed into law as Republicans cheered. People will die as a result, and they’ve started to already,” O’Donnell said in a TikTok video.“The people most likely to complain in situations like this are the people least likely to help. But once again, y’all have to understand the climate that we’re living in,” Perkins said.“They want you to have sympathy for these people. They want you to get out of your bed and to come out of your home and go to find these people and to donate your money to go find these people. Meanwhile, they are deporting your family members.
