And right now I'm noticing a strange theme emerging about whether or not we ever actually went to the Moon in 1969-1972.

In this one, (the dreadful) Jason Calacanis) randomly asks Elon Musk about going to the moon, but his exact quote is asking how about we go "to the Moon for real this time".

Interestingly, Elon doesn't correct him or say of course we've already gone to the Moon before.
In fact, Elon seems to accept the premise as accurate that perhaps we should finally "go for real" now.
I've always found it fascinating that Elon Musk is so focused on going to Mars because the Moon would be the most obvious place to go first.
The fact that he's never seemed interested in that has always perplexed me.

The man who is constantly talking about sending rockets to Mars as if it's no big deal and we're just going to do it by brute force recently posted that "ACTUALLY going to the Moon is staggeringly difficult."

Longtime readers of WLT Report know I am extremely skeptical about the claim that we ACTUALLY went to the Moon in 1969-1972...
I find it extremely hard to believe that on our very first try, with far less computing power than each of us now carries in our pockets now in 2025, we launched a rocket to the Moon, landed it perfectly, drove a dune-buggy around for a bit, then packed up, somehow recorded that footage of blastoff, then flew the entire way home no problem, reentering Earth and arriving back safely.
Oh! And I almost forgot, we allegedly crossed through the highly-lethal Van Allen Radiation Belts in 1969 too in nothing more than a tin can with no radiation shielding! How? Why? The official NASA answer to that question is "Because we didn't know about them yet!" That's a true response, look it up.
And don't forget about Richard Nixon phoning the boys up on the Moon from the Oval Office!
Not only that, but the dune buggy they allegedly hauled up there to tool around on allegedly had a TV camera mounted to it that was controlled remotely from Earth. From ChatGPT:

It has never made sense to me that Elon has zero interest in going to the Moon but he just has to get to Mars.

But Mars is just as inhospitable as the Moon is, and a lot tougher to send supplies farther away.
If you wanted to get humans off the Earth, isn't the most natural starting place the Moon?

When I first started covering this, I got a lot of hate mail.
Now it's about 50/50.
If you can be intellectually honest enough to put aside what you were told as a child and simply look at all the "facts", most people all do the same thing...

In the clip, Buzz pretty clearly says the video of the astronauts walking on the moon was fake.
I don't know how else you interpret that.
I mean, I know this is a comedy show, but nothing about this clip appears to be a joke or a bit.
Even Conan is taken aback and temporarily at a loss for how to respond (and it's his job to never be caught off guard as a talk show host).

So somehow they've labeled this as "False" despite the part I bolded below where they seem to even admit that the footage is, in fact, mostly made of animations.

Social media users are sharing a video of astronaut Buzz Aldrin being interviewed by American television host Conan O’Brien and claiming that Aldrin discussing parts of the moon landing broadcasts being animated is proof that it was all faked.
He was referring to animations used by broadcasters at the time in their coverage of the moon landing, intercut with real footage. The moon landing did take place and men did walk on the moon.

At the 1:29 mark, O’Brien says: “Let’s talk about this because this is fascinating. I remember very clearly; I think anybody who was alive at the time does. I remember my parents waking me up and we went down, and we watched you guys land on the moon.”
Aldrin responds: “No, you didn’t. Because there wasn’t any television, there wasn’t anybody taking the picture. You watched animation so you associated what you saw with… you heard me talking about, you know, how many feet we’re going to the left and right and then I said contact light, engine stopped, a few other things and then Neil said ‘Houston, tranquility base. The Eagle has landed.’ How about that? Not a bad line.”
The moon landing took place on July 20, 1969 with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. NASA said in 2006 that no one could find the original video recordings of the July 20, 1969, landing. However, in 2009 NASA released a complete digital make-over of the original landing footage that clarifies the blurry and grainy images of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the surface of the moon ( here ).
A video compiled by CNN shows the available footage from the mission ( here ), including takeoff and the astronauts climbing down and walking on the moon.
An article ( here ) by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum explains the challenges of recording footage of the moon landing and walking.
NASA contracted with Westinghouse for a black and white camera costing $2.29 million to capture the iconic moment, according to the museum. Photographs of the camera, which was stored in the lunar module’s Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly near the ladder Armstrong can be seen climbing down, can be seen ( here ).
“For us today, we can thank technicians for having recorded the broadcast, though the tapes assumed to be of the highest quality were never located despite searches for them in the last few decades,” the article reads. “What we see now on YouTube or in films are high definition scans of those best available copies.”
An article by Vox ( here ) says some television networks built sets to recreate some of the moments that were not able to be captured on video.
The National Science and Media Museum discussed the Apollo 11 broadcast on its website ( here ): “Many broadcasters used simulations to flesh out their Apollo programming. Networks paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for scale models of Apollo command modules and rockets. During the broadcast, these were used to create simulations of the mission which were then intercut with real footage.”
“The thing to remember is what news was like in the late 1960’s, not 24-hour continuous coverage,” Margaret Weitekamp, Chair of the Space History Department at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, said by phone. “The coverage of that trip needed to be explained to the public without the ability for continuous relay of video we are now used to.”
“Animations would have been a part of a constellation of different ways that that story was told over a series of days. At the time, the coverage would have been combined with animations that helped provide a broader picture of what was being done. But this certainly doesn’t invalidate that those landings took place.”

VERDICT
False. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin explaining that broadcasters used animations during their coverage of the moon landing does not prove that it was faked.
But that's far from the first time Buzz has seemed to admit the whole thing was a fake.
You have to wonder if on his death bed Buzz will finally and unequivocally confess to the fake?

Because there is no other example in recorded history where something new was discovered and then we just stopped going there.
Imagine discovering America in 1492 and then the Europeans just decided to never send another boat.

So let me begin with a question:
Why is no one allowed to go to Antarctica?
Oh sure you can go, but only to a few selection locations. And NO further. And only with a guide.

You're probably familiar with Answers In Genesis, right?
They do NOT espouse a "flat Earth" world view, but they did publish this article titled: "Stumped By Forests in Antarctica".
Here is a portion:

What could possibly be of interest in Antarctica? After all, the continent at the bottom of the world is covered in ice and snow, and the temperatures are always below freezing. As the coldest, driest continent, it has one of the harshest environments on the planet and harbors a world of extremes. Turbulent winds and snowstorms can last days and even weeks, and the endless barren terrain makes Antarctica the world’s largest desert!
For half the year it’s a polar summer, when the unforgiving sun shines 24/7. Then, during the six months of the polar winter, the continent plunges into complete darkness.
So why would I be interested in visiting Antarctica? Well, to see rocks, of course! I’m a geologist.
Unlike the Arctic, which is simply an ice sheet floating on the ocean, Antarctica is composed of rock covered in ice and snow. Huge jagged mountain ranges jut up through nearly a mile of ice and snow, exposing rocks with all sorts of treasures, if you know what to look for.
Just two summers ago, a team was surprised to discover not just one but five “forests” piled on top of each other. They claimed the supposedly 260-million-year-old fossils represent a series of different forests that grew slowly and were buried one on top of the other over millions of years. They were looking for clues to understand how climate changes contributed to their extinction.
Finding such mysteries then putting them in the biblical perspective is why I love my profession and want to visit places most people would never consider.
Found—Fossil “Forests” of a Strange Extinct Plant
The team was led by Erik Gulbranson, a professor of geosciences at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, who set up camp in the central Transantarctic Mountains. They found several layers of tree stumps buried upright with parts of their roots still connected. They also found impressions of long, broad, flat leaves jumbled together in massive mats.1
These remains have been identified as fossils of an unusual extinct plant called Glossopteris, which is unlike any plant alive today. Pieces of this plant are commonly found in large Permian coal beds that are mined throughout the southern hemisphere, such as in Australia and South Africa.
The discovery of these plants wasn’t the big surprise. In previous expeditions the same team found similar “fossil” forests in the same rock unit in the central Transantarctic Mountains. Lab studies confirmed that all the fossil wood specimens belonged to the same genus, Glossopteris.
But their earlier analysis uncovered a surprise. The long-held assumption was that the Glossopteris plant was strictly deciduous (meaning its leaves drop annually in the autumn). Scientists made this assumption because they usually find their fossil leaves in mats, similar to thick mats on the floors of modern deciduous forests. The new analysis showed they were a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees. How could this be?
Based on their evolutionary assumptions about slow changes over millions of years, scientists suggested a possible explanation. They claimed that earth’s cooling climate had forced these late Permian polar forests to adapt to environmental stresses. The accumulation of these stresses ultimately caused their extinction.
There's a lot more out there than your government is telling you!

A Christian geologist has argued that the recent discovery of fossilized tree stumps in Antarctica confirms the Bible's account of a global Flood.
Live Science reported last month that a team of scientists led by Erik Gulbranson, a paleoecologist at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, had discovered a forest of fossil trees in Antarctica, which is said to be an indication that the climate was warmer there in the past.
While the researchers have not dated the forest precisely yet, they surmised that it flourished about 280 million years ago before it was rapidly buried in volcanic ash, which preserved it down to the cellular level.
However, Dr. Tim Clarey, a research associate at the Institute for Creation Research (ICR), contended that the fossilized trees are more consistent with the Biblical account of a global flood just thousands of years ago.
"This discovery should be no surprise to those who take Genesis as literal history. The Bible clearly describes a global Flood that affected all land masses—why should Antarctica be an exception?" he wrote in an article published on ICR's website.
Clarey explained that dinosaur and mosasaur (massive swimming reptiles) fossils are found on every continent including Antarctica, which he says suggests that a much warmer global climate existed before the Great Flood.
He further noted that some creationists have tried to explain the presence of temperate climate fossils in Antarctica by claiming that the Earth had "rolled" on its axis during the Flood, resulting in the North Pole shifting from central Asia to its present position.
But Clarey pointed out that the temperate and tropical-type flora and fauna fossils, like dinosaurs, can also be found in central China — which he said would have been the north pole if the earth indeed rolled on its axis.
He contended that the entire globe was warmer before the global Flood and that the forces that are required to explain the shift on the Earth's axis has not been resolved and remains a speculation.
Gulbranson, who specializes in geochemistry techniques, noted that the plants found in Antarctica were so well-preserved that some of the amino acid building blocks that made up the trees' proteins can still be extracted.
Clarey argued that the secular science community cannot provide a viable explanation for such discoveries.
"How could proteins and original amino acids survive for millions of years?" he asked. "These trees were buried rapidly during the global Flood described in Genesis. Temperate and tropical plants and animals were caught up and quickly buried in the ash, mud, and sand that engulfed them in this cataclysmic event. These fossils remind us that God's Word is true," he went on to say.

And now let's go to my friend Dave Weiss.
I had a brand new guest on my show recently over at The Daily Truth Report...Dave Weiss who goes by the name "Flat Earth Dave".
If you got a little triggered at what I just typed, go back up and read that quote again.
Because here's the deal...
My mission here from Day 1 has always been to follow the truth anywhere we find it.
And that is never more true than when the truth we find is (1) in direct conflict with what the powers-that-be want you to think and (2) in complete alignment with the Bible.
And that's what we have here.
Mind blown yet?
We're only just getting started. and open I don't love the term "Flat Earth" because it carries with it a lot of mockery and nonsense, but I do like the term "Biblical Model of the Earth".
I also like doing my own research.
Dave and I chatted for over an hour and my goal was just to ask questions and open up the topic in a way that might lead many people to realize this isn't crazy at all -- and in fact, is much more legitimate than you may have ever imagined.
Some of the things we discussed are why can a compass only point north? Ever wondered that? If a compass is just a magnet, why do they only point north, why never a compass that points south?
Unless...it were not possible?
We break it down in the video.
We also talk about why perhaps the Georgia Guidestones HAD to be demolished right now...
Why?
Because they had a hole in the center that always lined up to the north star.
The only problem with that?
Science has been telling us the north star shifts each year by small degrees, but enough that over the 40 years that Guidestones were up that the hole should no longer have lined up -- not even close.
Except....it still did.
Perfectly aligned.
Almost as if we lived on a still, flat Earth, with the sun, moon and stars set above us -- exactly the way the Bible describes.
My favorite part was when we looked at the emergency landing of airplanes.
This is the one I think will probably open the most eyes.
Sixteen different examples of planes making emergency landings and guess what?
By their normal flight plans, they landed in places they should not have been anywhere close to.
Except...if you look at a Flat Earth model of the world, then they landed almost exactly where they were supposed to be, in a direct line flight path.
Sixteen of them!
I could go on and on, but I want to turn you loose to watch this one yourself.

And now I'd like to dig in even more to what the BIBLE has to say about the place we live...
Through and through, the Bible describes a still, stationary, flat plane.
But don't just take my word for it.
I want to give you some extra info from Rob Skiba who was an absolute genius when it came to this.
First, I want to address why this is even important in the first place.
Good question, right?
Why would yours truly even be spending any time on this?
From Rob Skiba's TestingTheGlobe he answers that really well:
Before we begin, I must say it quite literally astounds me that Christians can't see why this Flat Earth Controversy is important to nail down. Why does this matter? Well, just off the top of my head:
1) Genesis is the foundation of ALL that we believe in the Bible to be true. If Genesis is wrong, then it ALL crumbles under a faulty foundation. Genesis says NOTHING - zip, zero, nadda - about the Earth being set in motion (orbit or rotation) around the sun. In fact, the sun doesn't even show up until AFTER the Earth is already in place with life ALREADY in existence. Genesis says the sun, moon and stars were placed INSIDE the SAME firmament within which that Earth was formed, not outside of it. Thus, we have a completely enclosed system, within which the sun, moon and stars move, NOT the Earth. You can Yoga-Jujitsu-Wrestle Mania twist and distort the text into pretzels all you want, but it won't change what it says.
2) IF what we are seeing concerning the Flat Enclosed Earth thesis is true, then we are all there is. We are center stage. We are the main attraction and there can be NO argument as to whether or not there is a Creator. None. His existence could not possibly become more blatantly obvious than in this model.
3) IF the Flat Enclosed Earth thesis is true, evolution goes out the window and the theory of Ancient Alien seeders is obliterated. In this regard, I believe we become painfully aware of the Great Deception... and will NOT be fooled by it.
4) IF the Flat Enclosed Earth thesis is true, then we can NOT EVER trust NASA or the government about ANYTHING and we will finally be forced to fully trust YHWH's Word as our sole source for truth and stop trying to bend and manipulate it to fit false paradigms.
5) If heliocentricity IS false, then Scripture IS true. If Scripture IS true, and can thus be taken literally, why should we not take it just as literal when it describes the earth as fixed, not moving, set on a foundation of pillars, carved as a "circle" with edge boarders inside something with four corners, enclosed under a dome?
The next question often tied to the first one is "Why would anyone lie about this?"
Again Skiba answers:
Along with those emotions comes an all too common question: Why?? What’s the motivation to lie to us about the shape and nature of our world? To me, the motivation is quite clear:
1) First get people to doubt YHWH's Word by destroying the very foundation of our Bible: Genesis - specifically the Creation account.
2) Set up a new paradigm, where God is out and "science" is in. Evolution removes YHWH from the equation.
3) When evolution finally runs its course and becomes utterly bankrupt, introduce the idea of "Intelligent Design" but deny the True Designer His due credit and place it rather on "Ancient Aliens."
4) Promote the Ancient Alien theme as much as possible in all forms of media by perpetuating the concept of Earth as a tiny "blue marble" orbiting an average sun in an average galaxy among trillions of other galaxies in an ever expanding Universe. With so much "potential for life to exist" in such a vast expanse, the idea of alien scientists being our creators seems a lot more plausible over time and heavy indoctrination.
5) The stage is set for our "alien creators" to return and bestow upon us their "miracles, signs and wonders" in order to convince us all the more that all religions are false. We then put our trust in them. Finally, when Christ does return, we are all convinced that He is the enemy and our united world gathers together to make war with Him.
Wow, sound familiar?
Sound like anything currently happening the world?
It does to me.
I said earlier that the Bible is a "flat earth book" through and through.
Now let me back that up.

Again, applying no preconceived notions upon the text, how do you imagine a newcomer to the Scriptures would view the heavens, earth, sun, moon and stars just based on what you've read here? Would he see a spinning, heliocentric, globular Earth in an ever expanding universe? Or would he see something vastly different? I believe – without a doubt – he would see something completely different from what we’ve all been taught to believe. If this is not already abundantly clear to you, the remainder of this document will explain why.
If I were to be perfectly honest here, I'd have to say that I do not get a spherical globe, spinning around in an endless void of space from my reading of the above Scriptures. The Bible seems to be telling us, in no uncertain terms, that we live on a still (as in stationary), flat, enclosed earth. The following explains why I believe this way.
