Mysterious unknown object crashes in Australian Outback sparking huge ‘multi-agency response’ as experts scramble to identify its origin

A bizarre object, believed to have fallen from space, was discovered on fire in the remote Western Australian Outback near a mining site, about 30km from Newman, on Saturday afternoon around 2pm. Staff found it smouldering on a rarely used access road with no ground signs of impact. Authorities assume it’s space debris. The item, […]

KT Smith Recalls Morgan Wallen Proposing To Her With A $75 Engagement Ring In The JCPenny Parking Lot: “I Loved It, I Was Thrilled”

Young love and humble beginnings. Back in March, influencer KT Smith was a guest on an episode of Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast. KT shares a 5-year old son, Indigo, with Morgan Wallen, and the two were previously engaged during an on-again, off-again relationship between 2016 and 2019. Since this aired, KT and her current husband (soon to be ex-husband) Luke Scornavacco broke up and got back together, and during this particular episode, KT talked a lot about what led to their split and even said Luke’s career as an influencer gave her “the ick.” They actually stayed together for a little while after that, but earlier this month, Luke announced that the pair was officially getting divorced. Shocker… But also during that episode, KT opened up about her relationship with Morgan, which happened mostly before his skyrocket to stardom. KT said Morgan is a great dad, but she also discussed details from their relationship and prior engagement. The full podcast is almost two hours long, but a fan who must’ve watched the episode behind the paywall clipped part of it where KT talks about Morgan’s proposal to her, which took place in the JC Penny parking lot in Knoxville, Tennessee, where Morgan is from. KT explained how in love she was, saying she thought Morgan “hung the moon and the stars back then,” and she didn’t care that the engagement ring was a $75 Swarovski ring, because she would accepted a “ring pop.” She recalled exactly how Morgan asked her too, right before work: “Got engaged… I thought he hung the moon and the stars. Like everything that he did, I was amazed by. My ring was from, what’s that store in the mall? Swarovski. It was like a $75 ring. I didn’t care. I was just like, I don’t want a big ring. It was like the whole, you could give me a ring pop thing, and I wouldn’t care. So I had to go to work right after that, so we had about five minutes, and in the parking lot, he said, ‘Are we gonna do this or what?’ And then we were engaged. That was the proposal at the JCPenney parking lot in Knoxville. And I mean, I loved it, and I was thrilled.” The pair ultimately spilt up, obviously, but they do share a son together and clearly both of their lives have changed a lot since then. Much of their relationship has been a mystery because Morgan understandably doesn’t talk about it, but it was a big chapter of his life especially at the beginning of his music career and it sounds like there was a lot of love between them, even if they weren’t meant to be in the long run. Of course, the engagement story paints a real picture of where they were at almost ten years ago, a striking contrast for Morgan especially now that he’s hit country music mega stardom and has had hit after hit, and sells out stadiums all over the world. Oklahoma State University Pays Homage To Red Dirt Legends Like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours & More With Epic Homecoming House Decks

Oklahoma State might be having a tough time this football season, but the team’s struggles didn’t bring down the homecoming spirit in Stillwater over the weekend. Oklahoma State does homecoming unlike any other university. I know I might be a little biased as an alumna of the school, but the spirit of OSU’s Walkaround and the house decks on display make it so much more than just a football game. Each year, the Greek organizations on campus pair up and begin planning their homecoming house decks more than a year in advance. The students start “pomping” during the first few weeks of school and are required to complete a certain number of pomping hours each week leading up to homecoming weekend. Now, I’m sure some of you are sitting there scratching your heads thinking, “What the hell is pomping?” Well, as a seasoned pomper, I’m here to give you the rundown. Oklahoma State fraternity and sorority members are responsible for bringing these house decks to life. We spend countless hours in the fraternity house pushing tiny squares of tissue paper into chicken wire using the end of a pencil. Following a color-coded grid, each piece of paper is carefully placed to create incredibly detailed images — often with moving parts welded by fraternity members. Right before homecoming, the students participate in All Night Pomp which is when each house begins to assemble all of the pomped panels, handing them up and making sure that all the moving parts of your house deck work. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Oklahoma State University (@okstate) Then, the night before the homecoming game, folks from all over flock to Stillwater — more than 80,000 were expected at this year’s Walkaround, according to KOCO News — to view and admire these pieces of art during walkaround. Who would have thought that glue, tissue paper, and chicken wire could make such elaborate art, eh? Each year I am always in awe of the designs that are featured on the decks, and this year there was a trend that I was especially loving across many of the decks—red dirt music. Last year Stillwater hosted The Boys From Oklahoma event, which was the massive reunion of Cross Canadian Ragweed and a huge love fest to celebrate red dirt country music featuring many other talents like the Turnpike Troubadours, The Great Divide, Stoney LaRue, Jason Boland and the Stragglers and more. The even was such a hit, “The Boys From Oklahoma” concert is heading back to Stillwater’s Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Round 2 of the event will fall during Red Dirt Music Week (April 7-13), a newly instated celebration instituted by Stillwater Mayor William H. Joyce earlier this year. To honor Red Dirt Music Week and the incredible music that’s come out of Stillwater, many fraternities and sororities featured famed red dirt artists on their homecoming decks this year. Kappa Alpha Theta and FarmHouse had an amazing Rolling Stone magazine feature that cycled through some of the musical powerhouses with roots in Stillwater, including Garth Brooks, Wyatt Flores, and Cross Canadian Ragweed. @life.gave.u.lemons legends make homecoming decks & @Wyatt Flores you’ve made it!!! #osuhomecoming #americasgreatest #okstate #pomping ♬ Please Don’t Go – Wyatt Flores Jason Boland was given a massive feature on the Tri Delta and Lambda Chi Alpha deck, which is beyond deserving given Boland is such a staple red dirt artist. @stella_rod6 happy homecoming 2025!!#americasgreatesthomecoming #osuhomecoming #trilamb ♬ If I Ever Get Back to Oklahoma – Jason Boland & The Stragglers Kappa Delta and Alpha Gamma Rho tipped their hat the Turnpike and Ragweed, while also celebrating the re-opening of the legendary Wormy Dog Saloon. Social media had picked up on the Wormy Dog posting to their social media accounts, and were thrilled to see the bar is returning to Stillwater after closing the doors of the OKC location in 2017. @ellisoncaroline_ we done!!! | #foryou #okstate #agrkd #homecoming #americasgreatesthomecoming ♬ Traveler’s Song – Flatland Cavalry Oklahoma Stated does homecoming right and it’s incredible to see the university honor the country legends that have come out of the city of Stillwater and the state of Oklahoma. They don’t call it “America’s Greatest Homecoming” for nothing… God bless the Pokes and red dirt music. The post Oklahoma State University Pays Homage To Red Dirt Legends Like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours & More With Epic Homecoming House Decks first appeared on Whiskey Riff.

Unhinged Bloodthirsty Seattle “No Kings” Protester Tells Reporter Brandi Kruse He’d Murder “Nazi” Stephen Miller (Video)

The following article, Unhinged Bloodthirsty Seattle “No Kings” Protester Tells Reporter Brandi Kruse He’d Murder “Nazi” Stephen Miller (Video), was first published on Conservative Firing Line. Liberalism, as I’ve stated many times, is an ideology of bloodthirsty genocidal rage and hate.  And liberals prove that assertion correct every single day.  On Monday, the Gateway Pundit reported that Brandi Kruse, a journalist and self-described recovered sufferer of TDS, spoke to a Seattle “No Kings” protester who admitted he would murder White House … Continue reading Unhinged Bloodthirsty Seattle “No Kings” Protester Tells Reporter Brandi Kruse He’d Murder “Nazi” Stephen Miller (Video) ...

Someone stabbed a medieval biblical manuscript 20 times in the same spot, stumping historians

As the story goes, some 1,200 years ago, a handful of teen Celtic Christian monks on the island of Iona near Scotland painstakingly created an intricate, illuminated manuscript of the four gospels of the Bible, now known as the Book of Kells. Created on sheets of vellum (thin sheets of calfskin), the book contains elaborate lettering and colorful depictions of scenes from scriptures that have inspired Celtic art for centuries. The book's 340 folios (680 pages) hold layers of symbolism, and some details in the artwork are so tiny they almost can't be seen with the naked eye. The monks who created the manuscript used feather quills and natural pigments found in minerals and plants, which have held up beautifully for hundreds and hundreds of years. Exactly who the monks were is a mystery, as is one dramatic detail on one particular page of the manuscript—Folio 202v. On this page, the Temptation of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke is depicted, with a sinister black figure drawn to represent the devil. They say the devil's in the details, but in this case there's a detail in the devil that you can't see just looking at the artwork. - YouTube youtube.com Dr. Jane Maxwell, Manuscripts Curator at Trinity College Dublin, where the Book of Kells is kept and maintained, explained that the scene depicts Christ's 40 days in the desert and the interesting detail in the devil figure."The devil is supposed to have appeared to [Christ] to tempt him during this time," said Maxwell. "Now, one of the most recent discoveries about this page is that the figure of the devil within the book has been stabbed over 20 times. We can't say when this happened or who did it, but the one thing we do know is the damage did not take place in some kind of frenzied attack. It seems to have been quite calm, quite measured. Each stab could have occurred as a single event each time the person who did it saw the page." Folio 202v of the Book of Kells, depicting the Temptation of Christ from the Gospel of LukePublic DomainMaxwell explained that historians are quite sure that the stabbing happened sometime after the book was bound, as the stab marks went through several pages of vellum, which are fairly thick. She does have one possible explanation for the stabbings, though it's purely conjecture. "I would suggest that a person looking at the Book of Kells a thousand years ago understood it to be a very sacred object, a very embodiment of the Word of God," she said, "and when they were reading it, they would believe themselves to be in the presence of God. And therefore, if they see a picture of the devil, they could easily have believed that they were in the presence of real evil, which might explain why such a reader was so moved to respond so vigorously to the figure on the page as to leave these indelible marks behind." - YouTube www.youtube.com Possibly. There are all kinds of stories we could make up to explain the stab marks, since there's no way to know at this point. But that's not the only mystery of the Book of Kells. The story of the monks creating it on the island of Iona around the year 800 is a best guess, not a known fact. The monastery there was raided by Vikings in the early 9th century, killing 68 monks, and the survivors fled to a sister monastery in Kells in Ireland. Miraculously, the Book of Kells survived the raid and has managed to make it through another 1,200 years of human history largely unscathed. Natural pigments used to make the Book of Kells (left), The Chi Rho monogram of Christ spelled out in Greek (right)Photos by Annie ReneauBishop Henry Jones presented the Book of Kells to Trinity College in 1661 for safekeeping due to threats to its safety. It has remained under the care of the university ever since, and can be viewed today from behind a display case in Trinity College's The Book of Kells Experience. The tourist attraction brings people from all over the world who are interested in learning about the book's history and seeing its beauty for themselves. The book can also be viewed in its entirety in a digital format on the Trinity College website. It's well worth looking at a few pages and zooming in on the details, imagining them being drawn with a quill and ink.
