The U.S. Struck Iran, Then Declared a Ceasefire. What Comes Next?

The U.S. Struck Iran, Then Declared a Ceasefire. What Comes Next?

Saturday night presented us with unexpected news headlines: the US struck multiple nuclear weapon production sites deep inside Iran. On Monday morning, Iran hit back. Then, later on Monday, President Trump declared that a ceasefire agreement had been made and that the war was over. Unfortunately, early Tuesday morning, the Israeli Defense Forces xeeted that Iran had broken the ceasefire. ”In light of the severe violation of the ceasefire carried out by the Iranian regime, we will respond with force.” -The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir in a situational assessment now — Israel Defense Forces (@IDF) June 24, 2025 President Trump has ordered everyone to chill out. So, will the ceasefire hold? Will Iran drop continue to fight the US? We are now in completely uncharted waters with the US-Iran-Israel relationship. What kind of retaliation options are on the table? 1. Torpedo Global Supply Chains Iran’s obvious first option is to blockade the Strait of Hormuz. Yesterday, Iran’s parliament officially approved CLOSING the Strait for the first time since 1972. If enforced by Iran’s security forces, around 20 million barrels of oil per day could be blocked, causing prices to spike both at the pump and at retailers of everyday staples nationwide. (Prepare for it with this guide.) 2. Biological Attacks Iran is no stranger to chemical warfare: the country operates multiple “biological research sites,” some of which Israel claimed to attack over the weekend. Desperate people do desperate things, which we saw in Trump’s last administration when Iran’s neighbor, Syria, used chemical weapons against its rebels. Chemical warfare is nasty business, but Iran may feel it has no choice but to make a statement by attacking the US in such a manner. 3. Nukes on the Loose We don’t ultimately know if Iran’s nuclear capabilities were destroyed. However, we do know that they have significant amounts of enriched uranium (enough to build a so-called “dirty bomb”) as well as nuclear-armed allies in the region who may be sympathetic. Could the US attack galvanize Iran to respond using the very weapons we tried to prevent them from having? (Learn more about nuclear preparedness here.) Preparation for multiple scenarios is a must. The message for Americans is loud and clear: stay vigilant and don’t assume that Iran won’t respond in kind. In times like these, basic preparedness goes a long way in making sure that we are not caught off guard with the unexpected: Supply chain disruptions can put core medications onto the shortage list and spike prices. Biologic attacks, like anthrax, are fully curable – if you have the right medications on hand. Even nuclear scenarios can be mitigated with simple forethought and the right items at home. Stay informated with early notifications from AlertsUSA. The Chief Medical Board from The Wellness Company planned for all these scenarios with smart designs of medical emergency kits. As a pillar of your preparation strategy, we recommend that every home has at least one Medical Emergency Kit per family member. Moreover, we have a limited supply of our Radiation Emergency Kits containing the ONLY FDA-Approved medications to deal with nuclear fallout. The federal government maintains stockpiles of the items within these emergency kits. Every American should, too. We don’t know what’s coming next. This is a volatile situation, and there’s no way to guess what’s coming next. Be vigilant, be prepared, and be at peace knowing you’re doing all you can for your family. Tomorrow we have an article coming about the potential effects on fuel prices that you won’t want to miss! What do you think will happen next? Will the ceasefire be broken? Will Iran and Israel continue to fight one another? Will the United States hit Iran again? Are you concerned about sleeper terror cells already within the United States? Or do you think everything will be fine? Let’s discuss it in the comments section. The post The U.S. Struck Iran, Then Declared a Ceasefire. What Comes Next? appeared first on The Organic Prepper.
