Iran’s Nuclear Chief Says Its Taking Stock Of Damage, Plans To Restart Facilities

The Iranian government is declaring that it might rebuild their nuclear facilities, adding that the regime had taken steps to protect its nuclear facilities. “We have taken the necessary measures and are taking stock of the damage,” Iran’s nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami said Tuesday on state-run television, according to Iran’s state-owned Mehr News. “The plan is to prevent interruptions in the process of production and services … Plans for restarting (the facilities) have been prepared in advance, and our strategy is to ensure that production and services are not disrupted.” “An adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, said his country still had stocks of enriched uranium and that ‘the game is not over,’ claiming that Tehran had been prepared for damage to its nuclear sites,” Alarabiya reported. Last week, the White House issued a statement saying, “President Donald J. Trump has never wavered in his stance that Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon — a pledge he has made repeatedly, both in office and on the campaign trail. Since taking office, President Trump has clearly stated no fewer than a dozen times that Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.” The statement then listed 15 times since Trump took office in January that Trump declared his position, then added, “President Trump made the same pledge no fewer than 40 times on the campaign trail and even earlier,” listing numerous statements Trump had made on the issue dating all the way back to 2011. On Sunday, the day after President Trump ordered a strike on the three Iranian nuclear sites at Fordow, Esfahan and Natanz, Secretary of State Marco Rubio Secretary of State Marco Rubio told anchor Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” that President Trump had tried to make a deal with Iran for months, emphasizing that Trump demanded Iran renounce its nuclear weapons program. “They tried to play him along the way they’ve played every American president for the last 35 years and the president told them, ‘If we don’t get a deal’ — which is what we wanted — ‘then I’ll have to handle it differently.’ And that’s what he did last night. He handled it differently,” Rubio said. “But that was an Iranian choice. We didn’t make that choice. They did by playing games with Donald Trump, they made a huge mistake.” “And a bunch of these countries, putting out statements condemning us — privately, they all agree with us — that this needed to be done. They got to do what they got to do for their own public relations purposes, but the only people in the world that are unhappy about what happened in Iran last night is the regime,” Rubio said. ‘MAKE MY DAY’: Trump Dares AOC To Impeach Him

President Donald Trump dared Democrats to impeach him in a scathing social media post on Tuesday morning, naming Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) specifically and daring her to “MAKE MY DAY.” Trump took to his Truth Social platform to post the missive, in which he referenced her recent threats to call for impeachment over his decision to strike Iranian nuclear facilities. He then took direct aim at the New York congresswoman, saying that she and other Democrats in Congress were flailing in recent polls. .@POTUS: “So go ahead and try Impeaching me, again, MAKE MY DAY!” pic.twitter.com/5TnYlzBFwv — Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) June 24, 2025 “Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before,” Trump began. “The reason for her ‘rantings’ is all of the Victories that the U.S.A. has had under the Trump Administration. The Democrats aren’t used to WINNING, and she can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again.” Trump then used Ocasio-Cortez to bash Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), saying that as “unqualified” as he believed Ocasio-Cortez to be, they were worse. “When we examine her Test Scores, we will find out that she is NOT qualified for office but, nevertheless, far more qualified than Crockett, who is a seriously Low IQ individual, or Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our Country, yet the Failed Country that she comes from doesn’t have a Government, is drenched in Crime and Poverty, and is rated one of the WORST in the World, if it’s even rated at all.” “How dare ‘The Mouse’ tells us how to run the United States of America!” Trump continued, pivoting to take a jab at former President Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris. “We’re just now coming back from that Radical Left experiment with Sleepy Joe, Kamala, and ‘THE AUTOPEN,’ in charge. What a disaster it was!” Turning back to Ocasio-Cortez, he added, “AOC should be forced to take the Cognitive Test that I just completed at Walter Reed Medical Center, as part of my Physical. As the Doctor in charge said, ‘President Trump ACED it,’ meaning, I got every answer right. Instead of her constant complaining, Alexandria should go back home to Queens, where I was also brought up, and straighten out her filthy, disgusting, crime ridden streets, in the District she ‘represents,’ and which she never goes to anymore.” “She better start worrying about her own Primary, before she thinks about beating our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, whose career is definitely on very thin ice!” Trump concluded, daring her to go ahead and “try” to impeach him. “She and her Democrat friends have just hit the Lowest Poll Numbers in Congressional History, so go ahead and try Impeaching me, again, MAKE MY DAY!”

Mixed Polls, Major Stakes: Experts Decode The Tight NYC Mayor Battle

Former New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, 67,  and self-declared Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani, 33, are facing off on Tuesday in the New York Democratic mayoral primary, with a final poll suggesting the Syrian-born lawmaker could topple the veteran politician through ranked-choice voting. Steve Kornacki, a national political correspondent and election analyst for NBC News, paints a nuanced picture of Tuesday’s primary vote, emphasizing that only two major public polls have been conducted in the lead-up to the primary, each showing vastly different results. The Emerson College/PIX11/The Hill poll shows Cuomo leading Mamdani by a slim 35% to 32% margin in first-choice votes, but after multiple rounds of ranked-choice tabulation, Mamdani overtakes the former governor to win 52% to 48%. There are 11 Democrats on the primary ballot. A Marist University poll conducted a week prior has Cuomo leading 38% to 27% in the initial round and 55% to 45% after several rounds of ranked choice. In ranked-choice voting, voters rank up to five candidates in order of preference. If no candidate receives more than 50% of first-choice votes, the last-place candidate is eliminated, and their votes are redistributed based on voters’ next choices until someone wins a majority. The polls diverge in two major areas, Kornacki explains: performance among black voters and the distribution of City Comptroller Brad Lander’s votes after he is eliminated in the ranked choice tabulation. The Marist poll showed Cuomo with a 52-point advantage among black voters in the final round, while the more recent Emerson survey indicates Mamdani has closed that gap significantly, winning 38% of black voters in the final tabulation. Lander’s projected elimination had little impact on the final round of the Marist poll, as Cuomo’s lead diminished only slightly from 13 to 10 points. In contrast, Emerson’s final round shows Lander’s votes propelling Mamdani to a 4-point lead over Cuomo after trailing in the prior round. Brad Lander, recently arrested at an immigration court protest, could emerge as the race’s kingmaker. Lander and Mamdani formed a strategic alliance last week, with each candidate asking supporters to include the other in their ranked ballots while excluding Cuomo — a move that explains why Mamdani gains substantially if Lander is eliminated in the tabulation process. Political analyst and statistician Nate Silver points out, “[O]ne of the nuances of RCV (ranked-choice voting) is that negative campaigning can backfire just because it puts your name more in voters’ minds and therefore they’ll list you *somewhere* on their ballot.” “I’m hearing things I don’t like about this Zohran guy, I’d better make sure to list him below [preferred choices] on my ballot’ is a lot *better* for Zohran than if voters don’t list him at all. Cuomo may benefit from this effect too,” Silver adds. Kornacki predicts the tallying will likely continue past Tuesday, and the primary result might not even indicate the next mayor of deep blue New York City. But no matter who wins the Democratic primary, both Cuomo and Mamdani are expected to appear on the general election ballot. Cuomo has already created the “Fight and Deliver Party,” which will allow him to appear on the November ballot regardless of today’s outcome, while Mamdani is poised to be the candidate of the Working Families Party in the event of defeat. Meanwhile, current Democratic Mayor Eric Adams is running as an independent in the general election, while Republicans are poised to nominate Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa. The potential addition of both Cuomo and Mamdani further crowds the field for the general election in November. Mamdani, who currently represents parts of Queens in the state assembly, has advocated for defunding the police, rent control expansion, government-sponsored grocery stores, higher taxes, and $65 million in taxpayer-funded “gender-affirming” trans procedures for adults and children. Betting markets have the race in a dead heat as of Tuesday morning, leaning slightly in favor of Mamdani after the new Emerson poll, which accurately predicted the outcome of the 2021 primary, showed Mamdani taking the lead.

Going Airborne: Car Launches Into The Air When Road Buckles In Missouri

Summer has only just begun, but extreme heat is already taking over much of the United States. This can be seen across the country, but a recent incident in Missouri especially highlights the unexpected impacts this heat can have on us. On Sunday, June 22, a bulge formed on a busy road in the city of Cape Girardeau. For many drivers, this posed no threat — but then the road buckled. Road buckling can lead to wrecks and car damage. And, as this incident shows, it can also cause vehicles to go airborne. In some cases, you may be able to spot that a road has buckled before driving over the area. But in this case, the road didn’t buckle until the very second before the car passed over it. Watch this unbelievable moment in the video below. @accuweather Video captured the moment a road buckled and sent a car flying as a heatwave impacted Missouri on Sunday. #heat #heatwave #missouri #caughtoncamera #road #travel #weather #accuweather ♬ original sound – AccuWeather A few things have to occur for road buckling to take place. For starters, moisture has to seep into the cracks or joints of a road. Then the heat has to be so extreme that it causes the pavement to warp. When bad enough, these temperature changes and the expansion of the concrete can lead to a buckling. Needless to say, when a road buckles, it has the potential to cause serious harm to both vehicles and humans alike. Thankfully, in this situation, no one got hurt. When a Road Suddenly Buckles in Missouri, it Sends a Vehicle Flying in the Air Now, this video is being used to raise awareness of the dangers road buckling poses. While it may not be super common, it does happen more often than you may think during the kind of extreme heat many of us are facing at the moment. According to the Cape Girardeau Police Department, the most important thing anyone can do is remain vigilant. “In reference to safe driving and roadway buckling due to heat, drivers should be wearing a seat belt,” the department says, “and if a driver notices anything unusual with the roadway, please contact local law enforcement as soon as possible.” You can find the source of this story’s featured image here! Complete List Of Train Songs From A to Z

Train’s journey began in San Francisco, California, where Pat Monahan and his bandmates forged their sound in the late 1990s. Initially rooted in rock with a soulful edge, Train quickly distinguished themselves through strong melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 1998, laying the groundwork with singles like “Meet Virginia,” which helped introduce them to a wider audience. The early phase of their career was marked by a blend of acoustic rock and pop sensibilities, setting the tone for their evolving musical style. The band’s breakthrough came with their second album, Drops of Jupiter, released in 2001. The post Complete List Of Train Songs From A to Z appeared first on ClassicRockHistory.com.

‘Not Happy with Israel’: Trump Criticizes Ally for Striking Iran After Ceasefire Agreement

President Donald Trump is “not happy” that Israel fired rockets at Iran shortly after the nation’s ceasefire with Iran took effect. “Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped the load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before,” Trump told reporters before flying to the Netherlands for the NATO summit. “The biggest load that we’ve seen. I’m not happy with Israel.” “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f—- they’re doing,” Trump added. Trump held a “firm and direct” call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this morning, a White House source told CNN. Israel struck a radar site north of Tehran hours after accusations that Iran had fired several missiles at Israel. Israel held off further strikes after Netanyahu spoke to Trump, according to the prime minister’s office. Trump confirmed the ceasefire is still in effect. “All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” Trump said in a post on Truth Social after boarding Air Force One. “Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do it it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!” he had said in a previous post. The post ‘Not Happy with Israel’: Trump Criticizes Ally for Striking Iran After Ceasefire Agreement appeared first on The Daily Signal.

Supreme Court Gives Trump Administration Green Light to Deport Illegal Aliens to Third-Party Countries

In a win for President Donald Trump, the Supreme Court issued a brief order Monday allowing the Trump administration to restart deportation flights of illegal aliens to nations other than their own. The high court’s order lifts, for now, a lower court’s order allowing illegal immigrants to challenge their deportation order before their removal.   Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praise the court’s decision, calling the order “a victory for the safety and security of the American people.”   “The Biden administration allowed millions of illegal aliens to flood our country, and now, the Trump administration can exercise its undisputed authority to remove these criminal illegal aliens and clean up this national security nightmare,” McLaughlin.   The criminal illegal aliens the Trump administration is seeking to deport to third party counties are “so uniquely barbaric that their own countries won’t take them back,” McLaughlin said, adding, “[f]ire up the deportation planes.”  The justices did not explain the reason for their decision, but Justice Sonia Sotomayor, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, issued a lengthy dissent.  “In matters of life and death, it is best to proceed with caution. In this case, the government took the opposite approach,” Sotomayor wrote, adding that the Trump administration “wrongfully deported” illegal immigrants to Guatemala and South Sudan.   “Rather than allowing our lower court colleagues to manage this high-stakes litigation with the care and attention it plainly requires, this Court now intervenes to grant the government emergency relief from an order it has repeatedly defied,” the dissent continued. “I cannot join so gross an abuse of the court’s equitable discretion.”  Despite the Supreme Court’s decision, the deportation flight to South Sudan that has been contested in court remains on pause. In May, the Trump administration attempted to deport a group of eight criminal illegal aliens to South Sudan who had been charged or convicted of crimes including murder, rape, assault, and robbery.   A federal judge ruled that the men were not given the opportunity to object to their deportation to a third-part country. The illegal aliens are currently at a naval base in Djibouti and U.S. District Judge Brian E. Murphy in Boston say the men must still be given the opportunity to raise their safety concern in court over their pending deportation to South Sudan.   The Trump administration has faced numerous legal challenges amid its efforts to deport thousands of illegal aliens. Despite the hurdles, the administration continues to express a commitment to arrest and remove illegal immigrants, especially those with a criminal record or conviction. Media Matters Sues FTC, Claims Probe Over X Advertiser Boycott Is Politically Motivated

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Media Matters has filed suit against the Federal Trade Commission, alleging the agency’s recent investigation into its activities is politically motivated and intended to suppress its reporting on X. The group is asking a federal court in Washington, DC, to halt what it describes as an unlawful inquiry driven by pressure from Musk, Republican attorneys general, and allies of former President Donald Trump. We obtained a copy of the complaint for you here. What’s key is the FTC’s effort to determine whether Media Matters coordinated with other advocacy organizations in a campaign that led advertisers to withdraw from X. Media Matters published research in 2023 highlighting that corporate ads were appearing beside antisemitic and neo-Nazi content on the platform. That report sparked significant advertiser exits and drew direct retaliation from Musk, who promised legal action and later filed multiple lawsuits against the group, alleging that the advertiser boycott was caused by baseless lies about the platform. Media Matters claims the FTC’s demands for internal communications and documents related to its interactions with other groups go beyond the bounds of legitimate oversight. In its complaint, the organization accuses the agency of chilling its speech and disrupting its operations. “The Court should put an end to the latest effort by the Trump Administration and Elon Musk’s government allies to punish, intimidate, and harass Media Matters for publishing reporting they do not like,” the lawsuit states. The FTC, which has not commented on the suit, began its investigation after reports that a coordinated effort might have driven the advertiser pullout. While Media Matters frames its actions as journalism and watchdog work, its campaign did aim to pressure companies into distancing themselves from X due to the platform’s handling of harmful content. That raises broader questions the FTC appears to be probing: whether groups that advocate for advertiser boycotts cross into antitrust territory when they act in concert. Chairman Andrew Ferguson, appointed during Trump’s presidency, has described advertiser boycotts as a form of censorship capable of undermining venues for free expression online. The FTC is also examining several other advocacy organizations in its probe. Media Matters, for its part, insists there’s no evidence of coordination behind the advertiser withdrawals, and that the FTC’s inquiry is focused not on secret collusion but on its public research. If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net.
