Can Democrats go one day without being nauseatingly cringe? It’s probably too much to ask. Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) grabbed his guitar and performed an anti-Trump song for his social media followers. “June is Black Music Month. This year, I decided to come back with another jam session for you all. Here is my rendition of ‘Hey Joe’ by the Godfather of Rock, Jimi Hendrix,” Johnson wrote. Johnson replaced “Joe” with “Trump” in his rendition of the song. “Hey Trump, where you going with that gun in your hand?” the Georgia Democrat sang. He accused Trump of ‘shooting’ democracy in the song. Someone should tell Johnson the United States is a constitutional republic and not a democracy. WATCH: June is Black Music Month. Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban revealed Kamala Harris considered him for her running mate in the 2024 presidential election but refused to be vetted. According to the New York Post, Cuban made the admission in a preview of “The Bulwark” podcast. “I’m not very good as the No. 2 person. And so, if the last thing we need is me telling Kamala, you know, the president, that, no, that’s a dumb idea. Right. And I’m not real good at the shaking hands and kissing babies,” Cuban said on the podcast. Despite small clashes, Cuban said he thought Harris would prevail. “You know, I really thought she was going to win,” he told Miller.
