Scientists Find the Strongest Evidence Yet of an Atmosphere on a Molten Rocky Exoplanet

Researchers using NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope have detected the strongest evidence yet for an atmosphere on a rocky planet outside our solar system. “Most People Sing Nursery Rhymes, We Sing Ella Langley” – Mississippi Mother & Daughter’s Viral Duet Earns Reaction From The “Choosin’ Texas” Singer

Raising ’em right. There is something so precious about a little kid singing a modern-day country tune. It’s heartwarming to see, and it’s a sign they’ll grow up with impeccable taste in music. There have been many viral moments of little kids signing along to a Lainey Wilson tune while sporting her signature bell-bottom look, belting the words to Zach Top’s “I Never Lie,” or swooning over the mustached cowboy in Riley Green’s “Worst Way” music video. Now, Ella Langley‘s latest number-one hit is making waves among younger fans. There is no denying that Ella Langley has been on a hot streak since her viral duet “You Look Like You Love Me” featuring Riley Green. The song was the first song in CMA Award history to win Music Video of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, Song of the Year, and Single of the Year. And Ella Langley might be on track to do the same thing with her latest single, “Choosin’ Texas.” “Choosin’ Texas” has been such a success, in fact, that it recently scored Langley her first-career #1 hit on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" jumps 4-1 on this week's Hot Country Songs chart, becoming her first career No. 1 on the chart. — billboard charts (@billboardcharts) December 2, 2025 Fans cannot get enough of the song, co-written with Miranda Lambert, Joybeth Taylor, and Luke Dick, including younger fans. Recently, footage of a Mississippi mom, Currie Hillhouse, is going viral for a tender moment of her and her daughter singing the lyrics from the hit single. The little girl’s mother captioned the post: “Most people sing nursery rhymes, we sing @Ella Langley feat. A Vaseline-covered face because it’s winter.” Currie and her daughter lay in bed, facing each other, sweetly singing the lyrics to each other a cappella. The little girl’s twang instantly melts your heart. Of course, the video, on face value, is sweet because of the little girl’s singing, but when you look at it from a different perspective, it is a memory I am certain both mother and daughter will cherish forever. And if I had to guess, singing country songs together is part of their regular nightly routine. It did not take long for the video’s comments section to fill, but one comment stands out among the others. Miss Ella Langley herself saw this tender moment and left a short but sweet note on the video: “So good” So good indeed. Check it out for yourself. @curriehillhouse Most people sing nursery rhymes, we sing @Ella Langley ♬ original sound – Currie Hillhouse Check out some of the other heartfelt comments left on this video while you’re here: “And every night when my mama put me to bed, we laid there together and sang and sang.” “Her smiling at you is so sweet.” “When she sings ’nuffin I can doooooo’ OMG she’s adorable!!” “She couldn’t hide that dimple if she wanted to! Good job, baby girl!” “Oh, how you’ll treasure this video in many years.” “Why am I tearing up? This is so sweet.” “I love this song….I love Ella Langley….this song plays in my head all day and night.” “She’s gonna remember these moments her whole life. This is beautiful.” And it would only be right to give “Choosin’ Texas” a spin before you go: The post “Most People Sing Nursery Rhymes, We Sing Ella Langley” – Mississippi Mother & Daughter’s Viral Duet Earns Reaction From The “Choosin’ Texas” Singer first appeared on Whiskey Riff.

“A 40% Chance Of Winning” – Lukas Nelson Likes The Odds That Him Or His Dad, Willie, Will Win Best Traditional Country Album Grammy

“A 40% Chance Of Winning” – Lukas Nelson Likes The Odds That Him Or His Dad, Willie, Will Win Best Traditional Country Album Grammy

A historical moment for country music. This year at the Grammy Awards, Willie Nelson and his son Lukas Nelson are both nominated in the brand country category called Best Traditional Country Album. The previously titled Best Country Album category has been changed to Best Contemporary Country Album, so there will be two opportunities for some of your favorite country artists to win one of music’s most prestigious awards. Of course, as you might imagine, the Best Traditional Country Album category is stacked. We have Charley Crockett’s Dollar A Day, Margo Price’s Hard Headed Woman, Zach Top’s Ain’t In It For My Health, Luka’s American Romance and Willie’s, Oh What A Beautiful World all up for the award. Yes, the category is 40% Nelson, and it’s only the second time in history that’s happened at the Grammys, in terms of a father and son both being nominated in the same category for different albums. It’s the first time for a country father/son duo. The only other time it happened in another genre was in 1998, when Julio Iglesias and his son Enrique Iglesias were both nominated for Best Latin Pop Album, though neither one of them won it, as the award went to Luis Miguel. Funny enough, Julio and Willie have worked together in the past, on their hit song “To All The Girls I’ve Loved Before.” And while it’s the most competitive category for the country genre this year in my humble opinion, Lukas says he doesn’t view it that way. In interview with the Los Angeles Times, he says he views it as being nominated “alongside” his dad, rather than being up “against” him: “‘Against’ is a strong word. Alongside’ is better. I mean, the Nelsons have a 40% chance of winning, which is pretty good.” Considering they’re both incredible albums, I think that’s a great way of looking at it, and the odds are certainly in their favor when it comes to one for the Nelsons winning this category for the first time. It has to be an incredibly special and full-circle moment for the entire family, as it also includes Willie’s youngest son Micah, who is nominated with his dad as the producer on Willie’s Last Leaf on the Tree record, which is up for Best Americana Album. They’re clearly all cheering for each other, and will be happy regardless of who wins (they seem like a very supportive family, obviously), if one of them does win, and it certainly makes country music look good to have them all up for some of the most prestigious awards. It’s hard to imagine one of them won’t walk away with it, but you never know what could happen. Like I said, that category is stacked, and no mater who wins, it will go to a great artist and fantastic album.
