‘No Kings’ Protests Prove Dems Only Hate ‘Tyranny’ When Not in White House

This past weekend, some 2,000 “No Kings” protests visited American cities in opposition of President Trump’s deportation efforts after violent riots engulfed Los Angeles the week prior. In addition to signs reading, “Due process is for everyone,” and “Immigrants make America great,” there have been numerous violent encounters between rioters and law enforcement, bystander battery and harassment, and even a shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meanwhile, Democrat politicians posted an almost verbatim script on social media, espousing America’s greatness in defiance of tyrants. California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis remarked to MSNBC: “People are very determined to get out there and be seen. This is the United States. We do not want a king.” New York Sen. Chuck Schumer posted, “Millions of Americans are standing up today to say loud and clear: No kings in America.” Sen. Patty Murray of Washington wrote, “There are no kings in America. We need to remind ourselves that our voices are important. … That’s how we change the direction of this country. That’s what democracy is.” Illinois governor and Hyatt hotel billionaire JB Pritzker exclaimed: “Let me remind you: we don’t have kings in America – and I won’t bend the knee to one. … This is what democracy in action looks like.” While it is a breath of fresh air to see Democrats adopting a new love for liberty, do these “No Kings” protests actually reflect a grassroots effort against “tyranny,” or are they something else entirely? Think the ‘No Kings’ Protests Are Grassroots? Think Again While the legacy media portrays the nationwide protests as the will of the common people, the numbers don’t lie, and it appears the so-called “voices” Democrats are celebrating are not those of regular Americans, but of billionaires and moguls who are diametrically opposed to Trump’s plan to reduce illegal migration and enforce our laws. Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna revealed how the “No Kings” protests were being advertised by Walmart heiress Christy Walton, a billionaire and avid Democrat funder who has given hundreds of thousands to leftist organizations like the Lincoln Project, and has opposed Trump’s tariff and immigration policies. Indivisible, a self-proclaimed progressive, grassroots organization, took pride in organizing “No Kings” months in advance, working with a coalition of Democrat and progressive organizations to plan the nationwide protests. While Indivisible may want to appear as a genuine, grassroots movement against tyrannical Republicans, records show that the organization received $3 million in 2023 alone, and over $7 million total since 2018, from the Open Society Foundation – the radical organization formed by George Soros to spread Marxist propaganda such as mass migration policy, and to destabilize America by funding terrorist sympathizers. It is obvious just how influential some of these “No Kings” funders are. Data compiled from DataRepublican shows involvement by the ACLU, the Action Network Fund, the American Federation of Teachers, Black Voters Matter Fund Inc., and other entities, many of which receive millions of dollars in federal grants. Contributions are also tied to local branches of AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in the United States, which has reported receiving over $59 million in federal grants in 2022, and an additional $69 million in 2023. DataRepublican warned that the AFL-CIO is one of America’s “soft-power” NGOs known for effecting global regime change: “That AFL-CIO is openly involved in sponsoring the No Kings rally should raise extreme concerns as to the rally’s true purpose.” There is also a suspected Chinese Communist Party connection—the Chinese Progressive Association—which indirectly funds protests through its donations to leftist Black Voters Matter. “No Kings” doesn’t sound like your average “mom-and-pop” grassroots protest – unless the moms and pops are billionaires and leftist NGOs looking to destabilize American communities. Protesters Turn Blind Eye to Democrats’ Deportation Efforts The legacy media would have us believe that “No Kings” is an organic, democratic movement to take the country back from an orange-haired dictator – despite the fact that Trump uncontestably won the 2024 presidential election. The numbers don’t lie: “No Kings” is an artificial attempt by leftist billionaires to accuse Trump of what Democrats have been doing for decades. While protesters oppose Trump’s deportations, they conveniently forget that President Bill Clinton deported over 12 million illegals, and President Barack Obama, the aptly named “Deporter-in-Chief,” deported over 5 million, with 3 million formally removed—the majority of whom were summarily deported without any due process—something leftists only obsess over when Republicans are in power. In fact, Trump has deported fewer people than Obama did, yet protesters would have us believe Trump is “literally Hitler.” Ironic, considering these same people fanatically supported Democrats’ COVID policies which saw people detained, fined, and arrested for refusing to comply with draconian “health mandates.” The media wants you to believe that these protests are organic reactions to Trump’s mandate to uphold the law and secure America’s borders. To the contrary, the marches are nothing more than choreographed PR events, orchestrated by leftist elites who would rather be kings in their own right than help American citizens prosper. Austria Approves Spyware Law to Infiltrate Encrypted Messaging Platforms

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Austria is moving forward with legislation that would authorize law enforcement to infiltrate encrypted communications, marking a pivotal shift in the country’s surveillance powers and stirring a fierce debate over digital privacy. The federal cabinet’s approval of the plan comes after months of negotiations, with proponents citing national security needs and opponents warning of expansive overreach. The proposed law targets messaging platforms widely used for private communication, including WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram. It introduces the use of spyware, formally known as source TKÜ, which would allow authorities to bypass encryption and monitor conversations directly on suspects’ devices. The change represents a major escalation in surveillance capabilities for a country that has traditionally lagged behind its European counterparts in digital interception laws. Backers of the measure, such as Social Democrat Jörg Leichtfried, who oversees the Directorate for State Security and Intelligence (DSN), framed the move as a preventative strategy. “The aim is to make people planning terrorist attacks in Austria feel less secure; and increase everyone else’s sense of security.” Leichtfried called the cabinet’s approval an “important milestone.” Austria’s domestic intelligence services have until now been dependent on international partners, including the UK and the US, to provide warnings of potential threats. Officials say that model is no longer sufficient. One such foreign tip recently helped authorities disrupt an alleged plot targeting a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna, a case now cited as a justification for the expanded powers. Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, representing the conservative ÖVP, described the surveillance initiative as essential for keeping pace with evolving threats. He assured the public that use would be tightly restricted. According to Karner, a judicial panel composed of three judges must sign off on any surveillance request. No more than 25 to 30 individuals are expected to be targeted annually. Any increase above that number would trigger mandatory reporting to parliament. Despite vocal objections, the coalition appears to have the parliamentary votes required to pass the legislation. Some internal dissent remains tolerated, with SPÖ sources framing it as a reflection of Austria’s commitment to free mandates. The final vote has not yet taken place, but officials anticipate no major obstacles. If passed, the surveillance infrastructure would be deployed starting in 2027 following a competitive procurement process for the monitoring tools. Interior Minister Karner is expected to present a formal breakdown of the implementation plan in the coming days. Preppers: What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do

Author of How to Prep When You’re Broke and Bloom Where You’re Planted online course We are living in absolutely crazy times right now. What with the crashing economy, the potential of world war getting closer and closer, looming terror threats, our fragile power grid, and frequent heated demonstrations about Gaza, Israel, the President, and ICE, it’s difficult to focus your prepping energy. A lot of folks have said they currently feel incredibly helpless because they don’t know what to do. Today, we’ll talk about what to do. It’s overwhelming. Our present situation is nothing if not overwhelming. Threats are coming at us from all different directions. How can we focus on just one without missing an important indicator? It’s easy to get sucked into the cycle of fear, but that is paralyzing. You may need to limit your access to news to get beyond it. I’m certainly not saying to completely ignore it – just to carefully select your sources and not scroll on newsfeeds and X all day long. We need information, but I’m not sure we need constant, every-second-of-our-lives information. I think that makes things seem even worse than they are in an already bad situation. Find some trusted sources and limit yourself to those. Also, you may want to put a time limit on this. There’s a name for spending hours reading negative news. It’s called “doom-scrolling,” and Merriam-Webster defines it as “spending excessive time online scrolling through news or other content that makes one feel sad, anxious, angry, etc.” If you’re already in the habit of doing that, it can be difficult to escape the cycle, but it’s essential if you want to be effective. Focus more on spending those hours being productive rather than immersing yourself in bad news. As a news junkie myself, and also while I’m recovering from surgery, it can be extra tough not to get sucked in. I finally had to make a rule for myself to check three places for news in the morning and then three later in the afternoon. I spend the rest of my time working on other projects, reading books, learning skills and languages, and enjoying some shows on Amazon Prime. I strongly suggest you limit your news time as well.  You may also want to seek out some more positive stuff. There are a lot of fun channels on YouTube with good news, how-to videos, nature documentaries, cute puppies, and adorable kittens. Yes, I know some people are going to say this is an idiotic way to spend your time. And obviously, it’s not productive. But it’s far better for your mental health than doomscrolling. What should you be prepping for? You know, I’ve always kind of hated that question. That silly show, Doomsday Preppers, was always edited to make it look like the guests were hyper-focused on only one looming event. That’s not how real people prep, and I’m pretty sure it’s not how the guests prepped, either. But if you sound well-balanced and rational, it doesn’t make for good television. I like to recommend general preparedness. Selco also recommends “going back to basics” when you don’t know what to do. So, think about your pillars of preparedness. Pillar One: Water Pillar Two: Shelter Pillar Three: Fire Pillar Four: Food Pillar Five: Signaling | Communication Pillar Six: Medical | Hygiene Pillar Seven: Personal Safety No matter what emergency you are facing, you can’t go wrong by focusing on these areas. Here is a bundle of products that addresses some of the basics. You can get it for as low as $5 this weekend. Another option is this Prepper’s Interactive Bundle, that will help you go through the different areas of preparedness and make sure you have your bases covered. Another area I’d recommend focusing on is financial preparedness – paying off debt, investing wisely in tangible goods, and putting your savings into a medium that won’t lose its value. Physical fitness cannot be overlooked either. In some situations, we are trapped in our own bodies, but most folks can work to become more mobile and fit. The more active you are now, the less difficult it will be for you later. If you’re new to this, start off slowly with just a simple, short walk at an easy pace. (Here’s an article on the topic.) If you have mobility issues like I do, you can look on YouTube for seated exercises. One of my legs doesn’t work, but my arms have never been so ripped. While this may not make you more mobile, you can never go wrong with extra strength and stamina. Some productive things you can do Another thing that helps a lot is to do productive things. If your productive things are related to the pillars or your financial security, then this will help you to get through basically any kind of emergency. Some activities cost money, while others don’t. Use containers you already have to store more water. Make sure you have multiple ways to purify water you acquire. Take a walk around your neighborhood or property and seek out additional sources of water. Grow your own food. Preserve food. Stockpile long-term storage food. Make any necessary improvements on your homes – good windows, perhaps some off-grid power sources, needed repairs, etc. Make sure you have a way to cook that doesn’t require electricity, and then practice. I used to take my girls out into our backyard in the city and we’d have a fun cookout over a campfire. They loved it, we learned stuff, and it was a nice way to bond while learning skills. Think about how you could stay warm if your power went out, then proceed to prepare for these alternative methods. Consider getting your ham radio license and practicing for communications purposes. Learn medical skills. You can often find free local courses at your fire department or YMCA. You can also find a plethora of excellent videos on YouTube to help you learn to handle medical emergencies. Look at both First Aid and longer term options for care, in case help is not coming. Learn about natural remedies. Work to make your home safer. Are there any easy access points for criminals to breach your home? Fix them before things get even crazier. Learn self-defense skills. These skills are perishable, so if you already know them, practice them. Head to the shooting range. This is also a perishable skill. If you don’t know how to shoot, now is the time to learn. If you do know how, now is the time to practice. Work on building a trusted community of people nearby. It’s great to have a plan to go across the country to meet up with family, but if you can’t get there, you’ll need a like-minded community nearby. Learn survival skills for extreme situations from folks who have experienced such events. Learn what to do in the case of certain events, like a nuclear disaster, civil unrest, or economic collapse. Teach your children how to handle emergencies in case they ever have to face them alone. Teach your children and grandchildren the skills you possess – things like making a loaf of bread, the joy of planting a seed and watching it grow, being outdoors in nature safely – don’t let these skills and arts be lost to the next generation. These things may seem very small but in the grand scheme of things they’re significant. We are all limited by something – things like our health, our finances, our mobility, our locations, or something else. But if we’re diligent and use the resources we have to improve our situations, we can focus on productivity instead of panic. The key here is to do something. Don’t get sucked into the doom cycle. It’s paralyzing, and no matter who you are, or where you are, or what your situation is like, there is always some small thing you can do to improve your chances of survival.  Focus on the basics when you don’t know what to do and you’ll always be better off. What about you? How do you focus on productivity? Do you have any hacks for learning skills inexpensively? Do you find yourself doomscrolling online? How do you prepare when you don’t quite know what to prepare for the most? Let’s discuss it in the comments section. Democrats think they see their moment, but can they grasp it?

Democrats smell blood in the water. From the threat of a new Middle East war to proposed changes to Medicaid and food stamps, they see dozens of opportunities to regain political ground. But their own dysfunction — infighting, petty rivalries, and a stunning lack of talent — is holding them back. No rising star has emerged. No one seems capable of carrying the flag.America faces the prospect of another foreign war, one that’s deeply unpopular and threatening to split President Donald Trump’s coalition. Polling remains limited, but a quick Washington Post survey found 45% of Americans oppose involvement. Only 25% support it.Aside from strong polling numbers, the best news for Republicans is that Democrats remain in total disarray. And the Democrats? Good luck finding a credible opposition voice. Is it Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, who spent her time in a Senate hearing shouting about the L.A. riots before filibustering her own line of questioning? Or maybe it’s Tim Kaine of Virginia — yes, still in the Senate nearly a decade after his dismal turn as Hillary Clinton’s running mate.Meanwhile, trouble looms for the president’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. When Democrats describe it as a plan to gut Medicaid and food stamps while bankrupting rural hospitals to benefit corporations, support craters. But when Republicans explain the reforms — cutting off benefits to illegal immigrants, purging the deceased from the rolls, and requiring work from able-bodied men who admit to spending most of their time playing video games — voters respond differently. Those policies poll at 82%, 86%, and 72%, respectively.Assume you’ll never persuade the 14% of Americans who apparently support Medicaid for the dead. That leaves Republicans with near-total lock on public opinion. Proposals like eliminating taxes on tips and overtime also enjoy overwhelming support. So does deporting criminal aliens. And Democrats? Their response has consisted mostly of street theater — getting arrested and setting fires in Los Angeles while waving Mexican flags. Just wait until one of their protests ends with a federal agent injured or killed. The more serious threat to the GOP comes from inside the tent: the Senate Republican push to scrap the health care provider tax. Barring a major war, we’ll unpack that mess in Monday’s newsletter. The short version: Republicans have every political incentive to avoid this fight — and they’re scrambling to fix it before it blows up.Republicans fear a political repeat of Obamacare — but in reverse. If Democrats manage to define the GOP’s top legislative achievement more effectively than Republicans can, they’ll seize the advantage. To prevent that, Republicans need to campaign now — and outwork the Democrats from the start. It’s a race to frame the narrative, and GOP super PACs are already buying airtime.Aside from strong polling numbers, the best news for Republicans is that Democrats remain in total disarray. Even with the usual advantage of being the opposition party, they can’t get out of their own way. The fallout from the L.A. riots continues, and the DNC just forced out activist turned Vice Chair David Hogg in a chaotic leadership shake-up.Then came the public resignations. Randi Weingarten — the COVID-era school-closer in chief — and Lee Saunders of AFSCME both quit their DNC committee posts, blaming the crying and dithering of Chairman Ken Martin. When union bosses start walking, it’s rarely a sign of strength.Unless New York Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s latest branding brainstorm — the “We Are All Going to Die Bill” — magically catches fire like “Obamacare” once did, Republicans hold the upper hand.Even Rahm Emanuel sees it. “We’re in the most serious existential crisis with Donald Trump both at home and abroad — and with the biggest political opportunity in a decade,” the former Obama chief of staff and possible 2028 contender complained this week. “And the DNC has spent six months on a firing squad in the circle and can’t even fire a shot out. And Trump’s world is a target-rich environment.”Yes, it is. But you still have to take the shot.Blaze News: DNC plagued by infighting and incompetence, leaving Democrats desperate for cashBlazeTV's Sara Gonzalez: Trump derangement final boss Ilhan Omar claims Somalia is better than AmericaSign up for Bedford’s newsletterSign up to get Blaze Media senior politics editor Christopher Bedford’s newsletter.
