VIDEO: Al-Qaeda Leader Calls For American Muslims To Assassinate President Trump

In recent years, Al-Qaeda has faded into irrelevance. Until now. The leader of Al-Qaeda has called for American Muslims to assassinate President Trump. The New York Post shared these key details: The leader of a heinous Islamist terror group has called for President Trump and scores of his top advisers to be assassinated as revenge for their pro-Israel stances, The Post has learned. Sa’ad bin Atef al-Awlaki, the newest leader of the group al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), issued the disturbing call in a propaganda video released on Sunday — as he encouraged Muslims in the US to “take revenge,” sources confirmed. “Go after the scum of the earth and its greatest criminals. These are Trump and his vice president [JD Vance], his advisor and his supporters in terms of finance, administration, and technology.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and even Elon Musk were among the advisers named, sources said. “Go after them and their families and all those who have any ties or are close to the politicians of the White House. There are no red lines after all that has been happening to our people in Gaza.” Elsewhere, al-Awlaki — for whom the US State Department has issued a $6 million bounty — praised suspects who have carried out a spate of recent antisemitic terror attacks, as well as those behind the prior assassination attempts on Trump. Watch here: Leader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula AQAP calls on American Muslims to assassinate Trump, Vance, Hegseth, Rubio and Elon Musk.pic.twitter.com/kaIqtJAf1t — Citizen Free Press (@CitizenFreePres) June 10, 2025 The Times of Israel gave a current status of the Al-Qaeda terror group: Though believed to have been weakened in recent years due to infighting and suspected US drone strikes killing its leaders, the group known by the acronym AQAP had been considered the most dangerous branch of al-Qaeda still operating after the 2011 killing by US Navy SEALs of founder Osama bin Laden, who masterminded the September 11, 2001, attacks. In 2022, a US drone strike in Afghanistan killed bin Laden’s successor, Ayman al-Zawahiri, who also helped plot 9/11. The September 11 attacks began decades of war by the US in Afghanistan and Iraq, and fomented the rise of the Islamic State group. Al-Awlaki already has a $6 million US bounty on his head, as Washington says he “has publicly called for attacks against the United States and its allies.” He replaced AQAP leader Khalid al-Batarfi, whose death was announced by the group in 2024. AQAP seizing onto the Israel-Hamas war follows the efforts of Yemen’s Houthi rebels to do the same. The Iranian-backed group has launched missile attacks on Israel and targeted commercial vessels moving through the Red Sea corridor, as well as American warships. The Trump administration launched an intense campaign of strikes on the Houthis, which only ended before the president’s recent trip to the Middle East. The Houthis’ international profile rose as the group remains mired in Yemen’s long-stalemated war. Al-Awlaki may be betting on the same for his group, which UN experts have estimated has between 3,000 and 4,000 active fighters and passive members. The group raises money by robbing banks and money exchange shops, as well as smuggling weapons, counterfeiting currencies, and ransom operations, according to the UN. The Shiite Zaydi Houthis have previously denied working with AQAP, a Sunni extremist group. However, AQAP targeting of the Houthis has dropped in recent years, while the militants keep attacking Saudi-led coalition forces, who have battled the Houthis. “As the Houthis gain popularity as leaders of the ‘Arab and Muslim world’s resistance’ against Israel, al-Awlaki seeks to challenge their dominance by presenting himself as equally concerned about the situation in Gaza,” said Mohammed al-Basha, a Yemeni expert at the Basha Report risk advisory firm. Iran has also called for the assassination of President Trump in recent years: BREAKING: The FBI thwarted an Iranian plan to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump during his reelection bid. The indictment specifically cites “vengeance” for Trump’s killing of Soleimani as a motivating factor. pic.twitter.com/WKsSyJ3B98 — Kayleigh McEnany (@kayleighmcenany) November 8, 2024 Iran even went so far as to create an animated video of an attack on Trump while on his golf course. Take a look: Officials in #Iran have released a 3D animated video depicting the targeting of former President Donald Trump at his Mar-A-Lago golf course. This sequence is in revenge for killing IRGC General Qasem Soleimani. pic.twitter.com/2h1giUrlFx — Jake Hanrahan (@Jake_Hanrahan) January 13, 2022 What’s your view on this?

Republican Governor Deploys National Guard Troops

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott deployed National Guard troops to San Antonio and other locations across the state ahead of anticipated protests. “Texas National Guard will be deployed to locations across the state to ensure peace & order. Peaceful protest is legal. Harming a person or property is illegal & will lead to arrest,” Abbott said. “@TexasGuard will use every tool & strategy to help law enforcement maintain order,” he added. Texas National Guard will be deployed to locations across the state to ensure peace & order. Peaceful protest is legal. Harming a person or property is illegal & will lead to arrest.@TexasGuard will use every tool & strategy to help law enforcement maintain order. https://t.co/rS8b5zgE3T — Greg Abbott (@GregAbbott_TX) June 11, 2025 Per NBC News: In Austin, 500 people gathered in front of the state’s Capitol on Monday evening to denounce Trump’s immigration policies in solidarity with the L.A. protesters. Local and state authorities used pepper spray and flash-bang grenades on protesters in that incident, and more than a dozen people were arrested, Abbott said. The Los Angeles raids led to fallout over the weekend when Trump federalized and brought in the state’s National Guard against Gov. Gavin Newsom’s wishes. The two politicians locked horns over the move, with Newsom saying it needlessly inflamed tensions between protesters and law enforcement. California’s attorney general filed a lawsuit Tuesday challenging Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops to Los Angeles, saying the takeover exceeds his authority. When asked about the ICE raids and the intense federal response to protests, Trump said from the Oval Office on Tuesday, “This is the first, perhaps of many.” “We didn’t attack this one very strongly. You’d have them all over the country. I can inform the rest of the country that when they do it, if they do it, they’re going to be met with equal or greater force than we met right here. We did a great job,” he said. “We stopped a disaster,” Trump added, describing protesters as “very dangerous people” who were “met with heavy force, and they folded.” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to deploy National Guard across the state in response to protests https://t.co/krdezFkHH4 — NBC DFW (@NBCDFW) June 11, 2025 Fox News reports: San Antonio Police Department Assistant Chief Jesse Salame told WOAI-TV that Chief William McManus confirmed the deployment of National Guard troops to the city, though he added that “we don’t have any additional details about their deployment.” Major demonstrations popped up in cities across Texas this week on the heels of violent riots in Los Angeles to protest federal immigration raids. In Austin, four police officers were injured trying to disperse a crowd of several hundred demonstrators that moved between the state Capitol and a federal building that houses an ICE office on Monday night. Austin police used pepper spray balls and state police used tear gas when demonstrators began trying to deface the federal building with spray paint. Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said three officers were injured when individuals began hurling “very large” rocks, while a fourth suffered a shoulder injury during an arrest. “We support peaceful protest,” Davis said. “When that protest turns violent, when it turns to throwing rocks and bottles … that will not be tolerated. Arrests will be made.” Austin police arrested eight people, and state police arrested five more.

President Trump Announces Deal With China

President Trump Announces Deal With China

President Trump said Wednesday that a deal with China is done and awaits final approval. “OUR DEAL WITH CHINA IS DONE, SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL WITH PRESIDENT XI AND ME. FULL MAGNETS, AND ANY NECESSARY RARE EARTHS, WILL BE SUPPLIED, UP FRONT, BY CHINA,” Trump said on Truth Social. “LIKEWISE, WE WILL PROVIDE TO CHINA WHAT WAS AGREED TO, INCLUDING CHINESE STUDENTS USING OUR COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD WITH ME!). WE ARE GETTING A TOTAL OF 55% TARIFFS, CHINA IS GETTING 10%. RELATIONSHIP IS EXCELLENT! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!” he added. “Adding to the China readout, President XI and I are going to work closely together to open up China to American Trade. This would be a great WIN for both countries!!!” Trump added. Per CNBC: Representatives from both sides had on Tuesday revealed that a deal had been reached on trade after a second day of high-level talks in London. “We have reached a framework to implement the Geneva consensus and the call between the two presidents,” U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters. That echoed comments to reporters from Li Chenggang, China’s international trade representative and a vice minister at China’s Commerce Ministry. Rare earth elements and magnets widely used by the automotive and defense sectors emerged as a key sticking point between the world’s two largest economies. China’s Ministry of Commerce in early April imposed export restrictions on strategically important minerals in response to Trump’s tariff increase on Beijing’s exported products. Both sides had accused each other of reneging on a preliminary trade deal struck in Switzerland last month. Investors, however, had remained hopeful of a breakthrough following last week’s call between Trump and China’s Xi. 'Our deal with China is done… Relationship is excellent!' – President Donald J. Trump pic.twitter.com/6NbYDtxuAk — The White House (@WhiteHouse) June 11, 2025 From the New York Post: The US griped that China had been making “slow moves” to allow exports of rare earths. This prompted the Trump administration to ratchet up restrictions on key chemicals, tighten rules on exports of critical semiconductor design software, and revoke visas for Chinese students. Lutnick claimed that the recent framework brokered in London put “meat on the bones” on the Geneva consensus that brought down triple-digit tariffs the two countries had imposed on one another as Trump worked to recalibrate US trade policy. The commerce secretary said the new arrangement would see China ease barriers on rare earth minerals “in a balanced way,” without elaborating on specifics. China’s Vice Commerce Minister Li Chenggang had similarly confirmed that an agreement in London had been reached, subject to Trump’s and Xi’s approval. The two sides had spent close to two days in London deliberating over the stalled implementation of the Geneva consensus, wrapping up the marathon talks late Tuesday. Trump claimed that he had a “very good” call with Xi last week after trade talks had stalled between the two economic giants, soon after he groused that Xi is “very tough, and extremely hard to make a deal with.” While the “deal” reached in London seemingly bodes well for restoring and maintaining a trade truce, it does not appear to tackle the deep underlying differences between the two sides on trade.

Dem Rep. McIver “Not Intimidated” by Indictment & 17 Years in Prison

McIver was violent and forcibly interfered with federal law enforcement officers, and now she faces 17 years in prison, but she won’t get anything like that, nor should she. A year would be nice though. A federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment charging Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver with forcibly impeding and interfering with federal […] The post Dem Rep. Greg Abbott To Deploy National Guard Amid Texas Anti-ICE Protests

Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott announced Tuesday night that he would deploy the National Guard “across the state” as anti-ICE protests hit major cities. Protests against President Donald Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown started earlier this week in Dallas and Austin, and more demonstrations are planned for San Antonio on Wednesday and Saturday. In a post on X, Abbott said he was mobilizing the National Guard as a precautionary measure “to ensure peace & order.” “Peaceful protest is legal. Harming a person or property is illegal & will lead to arrest,” the governor added. “@TexasGuard will use every tool & strategy to help law enforcement maintain order.” In Austin, the state’s capital, police used pepper spray and tear gas to disperse a group of protesters who were ignoring warnings to clear out of the street, KXAN Austin reported. Officers with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Austin Police Department arrested more than a dozen people during the protest Monday night, according to Abbott. During the demonstration, a federal building where Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) holds detainees was vandalized with messages reading, “ICE NEEDS 2 SURRENDER & RELEASE THE HOSTAGES” and “MODERN DAY SLAVERY DISGUISED AS CRIMINAL REFORM.” Six men arrested during the Austin demonstration were charged with felony criminal mischief, resisting arrest, among other offenses, according to the San Antonio Express-News. “Peaceful protesting is legal. But once you cross the line, you will be arrested,” Abbott wrote on social media early Tuesday morning, adding, “FAFO,” the acronym for “F*** Around and Find Out.” The protest in Dallas on Monday turned “tense” as some demonstrators clashed with police officers, The Dallas Morning News reported. After sunset, authorities deployed pepper spray to disperse the crowd and appeared to make some arrests. Texas National Guard troops will be on “standby in areas where mass demonstrations are planned in case they are needed,” according to Abbott’s office. Demonstrations, organized by a group called “No Kings” are planned for cities in all 50 states on Saturday as the U.S. Army will hold a massive parade in Washington, D.C., coinciding with the president’s birthday, with Trump in attendance. Protests, some of which have turned into riots, have already popped up in cities across the country after anti-ICE rioters attacked law enforcement officers and damaged businesses and public property in Los Angeles last weekend. President Trump deployed the National Guard to L.A. on Saturday and then sent in reinforcements days later, including 700 Marines, as he blasted Democrat officials, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass. California then sued the Trump administration over the National Guard deployment, arguing that Trump infringed on Newsom’s power. Trump has defended his decision, claiming that L.A. would be “burning to the ground” without his action.

EXCLUSIVE: Pro-Life Groups Urge Catholic GOP Governor To Veto ‘Extreme’ IVF Bill

A coalition of pro-life groups led by CatholicVote and Nevada Right to Life urged Nevada Republican Governor Joe Lombardo to veto a bill that would mandate a right to in vitro fertilization, saying that the legislation would be ethically and fiscally reckless.  In a letter delivered to Lombardo on Tuesday, nearly two dozen pro-life and Christian organizations asked the Catholic governor to veto SB 217, a Democrat-backed bill that would create a right to IVF and require public and private health insurance companies to cover the procedures. Opponents fear that the bill would shield the IVF industry from any accountability for questionable bioethical practices and cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.  “We approach the issue of IVF from varying perspectives. While we are broadly supportive of the general principle of helping families struggling with infertility to conceive, IVF is bioethically and economically problematic. Healthcare must be sensibly regulated,” the pro-life groups wrote in the letter, which was first obtained by The Daily Wire.  In addition to CatholicVote Vice President Josh Mercer, other signatories include Nevada Right to Life Executive Director Melissa Clement, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, Democrats for Life Executive Director Kristen Day, and Moms for America Director Eva Sara Landau. “The IVF industry currently operates in a wild west, with little to no regulation or restraint on its activities. It is already legal in Nevada. The bill would allow IVF practitioners to operate with complete impunity and hinder the state’s ability to enact health and safety regulations to protect women undergoing what is already a physically and mentally taxing process,” the advocates wrote. They added that they appreciated Lombardo’s previous actions to “veto unreasonable and often extreme measures from the legislature.” SB 217, which is also opposed by Nevada’s Republican Party, is estimated to cost at least $38 million in its first two years.  The bill would also put into law that “a fertilized egg or human embryo that exists before implantation in a human uterus is not a person for legal purposes.” Lawmakers across the country have moved to shield the IVF industry after the Alabama Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that frozen embryos should be recognized and protected as children.  Tommy Valentine, director of the Catholic Accountability Project at CatholicVote, told The Daily Wire that SB 217 would allow the IVF industry to operate with virtually no safeguards in place. “This bill would give the industry carte blanche to act recklessly. Let’s not forget that this bill is an unfunded mandate which will cost the state tens of millions of dollars per year and increase healthcare premiums for Nevadans,” he said. “It was passed in literally the 11th hour along party lines. A Republican governor should not be signing a bill like this, and we hope he will not.”

A Landmark Settlement Rings In A New Era Of College Sports. Will The Tradition We Love Survive?

The following article was adapted from a “Morning Wire” interview with “Crain & Company” host David Cone that was released on Wednesday, June 11.  A new era has dawned in the world of college sports. Something that was illegal just a week ago – schools paying players – is now the law of the land.  Last week, a settlement was approved in the case, House vs. NCAA, a class-action lawsuit that claimed the NCAA was illegally limiting the earning potential of college athletes. This agreement ends three separate antitrust lawsuits, and it means schools can now begin paying their athletes directly.  Outkick’s Trey Wallace joined us over at “Crain & Company” earlier this week to lay out how he believes this decision will affect college athletics going forward. Wallace said the settlement will eventually lead to some schools cutting certain sports. “I hate to say it,” Wallace told us. “But you’re gonna see cuts in track and field, rowing, volleyball, mid-major softball programs. You can’t afford them anymore. You’re relying on football to pay the bills.”  With this settlement comes an annual cap, much like a salary cap in professional sports, and it is expected to start at roughly $20.5 million per school in 2025-26. It will then increase every year during the decade-long deal. These new payments are in addition to scholarships and other benefits the athletes already receive. The first checks will be cut on July 1, so schools and conferences need to act quickly and establish the necessary infrastructure to enforce their new rules. And this doesn’t just affect current and future athletes; the NCAA will also pay nearly $2.8 billion in back damages over the next 10 years to athletes who competed in college at any time from 2016 through the present day. In short, this is a shift from name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals student athletes made with companies and collectives to direct pay from the schools. So the cases of O’Bannon vs. NCAA and Alston vs. NCAA paved the way for college athletes to receive NIL money, but those payments were coming from third parties rather than from the athletic programs themselves. This settlement allows schools to share their revenue directly with athletes for the first time, and it also enables programs to create new rules designed to limit the influence of boosters and collectives. Starting this summer, any endorsement deal between a booster and an athlete will be vetted to ensure it’s for a “valid business purpose” rather than a recruiting incentive. Now, what will be interesting to monitor is how each athletic director allocates that $20.5 million between their various sports, as Wallace hinted at in his interview with us. Another thing to watch for is how each program will continue to incorporate NIL deals on top of the revenue-sharing payments. This development still won’t end the debates regarding how long athletes can compete at the college level, and whether or not they should be considered employees who are represented by a union for the purposes of collective bargaining.  However, NCAA president Charlie Baker does believe this will help regulate what has been a very volatile market in college sports. In an open letter posted last Friday, Baker stated, “This is new terrain for everyone. Given the defendant conferences’ new ownership of complicated pieces of rulemaking and enforcement, there will be a transition period and certainly bumps in the road. Opportunities to drive transformative change don’t come often to organizations like ours. It’s important we make the most of this one. We have accomplished a lot over the last several months, from new health and wellness and academic requirements to a stronger financial footing. Together, we can use this new beginning to launch college sports into the future, too.”
