WASHINGTON—Alexis Wilkins is a conservative country music artist whose boyfriend, Kash Patel, is the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When the two began dating three years ago, they became a kind of conservative celebrity couple. But Wilkins never imagined that she would soon star in the internet’s pet conspiracy theory — one that would drown her and her family in deluge of threats. “I’ve been in the political sphere for a second,” she explained in a phone interview with The Daily Wire. “You get crazy things from the left, you’re kind of used to it if you’re speaking up about things that you believe in or talking positively about America. I kind of thought that [direction] would be where this would continue, just maybe more dramatic, but what’s happened is…the internet has just become a place where you can just say whatever you want and affect people’s lives, and it really reverberates. Internet users and commentators have accused 27-year-old Wilkins of being an Israeli spy, a “honeypot” Mossad agent, assigned to manipulate her 45-year-old boyfriend as he leads the FBI. Wilkins, who is Christian, has repeatedly denied the claims, which she calls absurd. “There’s security issues, there’s safety issues, the death threats are graphic, and, there are a lot of them,” she added. “You have to think about your house getting swatted, you deal with stuff where people are trying to harm you. That is the intent, and that’s been very real, very quickly for me in the last couple of months.”  Their relationship, ages, and personal lives have been scrutinized publicly, as has Patel’s use of the FBI director’s plane for personal trips to see Wilkins (as FBI director, Patel cannot fly commercial and must use the plane for legitimate and needed purposes, but his recent trip to Nashville drew heavy criticism). A source close to the couple told The Daily Wire that Patel “knew Alexis was the one as soon as he met her,” and that she recently moved in with him in Washington, D.C., but spends time in Nashville with her family. They will likely be engaged and married soon, that source shared. In the meantime, the country music artist is grappling with the consequences of viral internet rumors. An FBI spokesperson confirmed to The Daily Wire that Wilkins has received “hundreds of credible threats.” Wilkins now has a security detail, that spokesperson confirmed, based on security assessments of credible threats conducted due to her connection with Patel. Wilkins receives threatening messages almost daily on social media. The Daily Wire reviewed a number of these messages and posts, showing individuals fantasizing about killing her, graphically describing acts of sexual violence, promising to kill her within specific time frames, posting her address, phone number, and those of Patel and her parents online, and more. “I don’t feel very comfortable going in public,” she shared, asked how this affects her daily life. “I don’t leave my house a lot.” Less explicit but still threatening rhetoric is also publicly visible on Wilkins’ social media posts as well. For example, one commenter posted on an Instagram post of Wilkins and Patel at his swearing in: “I hope these two don’t plan on going out in public. Or having a public speaking event in an amphitheater.” “People know what to say,” she said, discussing the messages she shared with The Daily Wire. “These are not just hyperbolic threats, these are credible threats that [mention] things about you going in public together, things about you doing a public speaking engagement, things about you doing a concert outside…They want you to stop living your life. They want you to be afraid.” About two weeks ago, Wilkins shared, her parents’ home was swatted. This means that someone called in a false emergency at their home with the goal of prompting a massive law enforcement response. Swatting is particularly dangerous since victims may find themselves in violent or dangerous situations, depending how they respond to the law enforcement presence, since a SWAT team might be responding to what has been described to them as an imminent threat, a bomb situation, or domestic violence. Wilkins and her family now have to talk through security protocols that have never occurred to them, planning out how to respond when, for example, someone calls the house demanding to know if Wilkins herself is present — a sign that a swatting may be imminent. “Swatting doesn’t only affect your house, you have to realize that people are also looking for your family, especially when it’s an allegation that is so untrue…you’re getting called a spy, so people are digging into your history, people are trying to find your parents, people are calling people that you’ve known,” Wilkins said. “Colleagues of mine have received calls asking for information about my family, some of them unaware of how to respond and will give a name or give my mom’s maiden name or give things that are helpful in order to find us.” “So it hasn’t just been me,” she said. “It’s been my family as well.”   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Alexis Wilkins (@alexiswilkins)   Wilkins has continued to attend speaking or singing engagements with organizations like Turning Point USA and the Young America’s Foundation. She is suing a number of political influencers and commentators for suggesting she is an agent of Israeli intelligence. And she says she is determined not to cower but to stand up for herself, arguing that “bullies respond to strength.” “I’m so happy to support the person that I love, but I’m not the director of the FBI,” Wilkins said. “I’m here to support, and my parents are also…but ultimately, this is not something that they signed up for, and I think people forget that when they’re digging for what they think is the truth, they’re doing it in a way that is not helpful, and it’s very dangerous.” Reflecting on the death of Charlie Kirk, who she knew through her work with TPUSA — at whose events she often sings the national anthem — Wilkins pointed out how massively important Kirk’s faith was to him, and how he talked about how he wanted to be remembered for his faith. She is very proud of her own Christian faith. Yet now, she is “being called something that I’m not, a spy for another country, essentially accusing me of treason, which is horrific enough, but I’m a Christian.” “I grew up Armenian. My family’s Armenian,” she explained. “I grew up Christian and I’m very proud of that.” “His legacy of his faith and the things that he represented, I think that it obviously is a huge void that we all feel now, because of who he was personally and who he was in the movement,” she reflected, sharing how the day after Kirk’s assassination, she had to come to terms with the fact that Patel would be speaking at an outdoor event, and she could do nothing but wait to hear that he was ok. “It’s that horrible feeling,” she said. “How radicalized do people become? Is this a chain of events? There’s no way to make yourself feel better about it.” She has considered ignoring much of the criticism and threats. But, she says, she wants to be a “role model for people who are being attacked, for even just their views, no matter what side they are on.” “I think that everyone should have the right to say what they want to say,” she said. “I love the Constitution. I love the First Amendment in this country.” And asked what she would tell the internet folk who are posting about her, she responded: “If it feels fun behind your keyboard to hate someone, your heart is probably in the wrong place and you also probably have some details wrong.” “Before you run with what sounds like the most fun, horrifying and cliquey conspiracy theory, there’s probably a more common sense result, a more common sense answer.”

Over the weekend, the long-simmering feud between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and the president of the United States finally boiled over. Greene — the Jewish space laser lady — has been attempting to run her own knockoff version of MAGA. She’s been out retailing it to “The View.” She’s been out retailing it to CNN and MSNBC. She’s become the hot new thing in the legacy media. They now have “strange new respect” for Marjorie Taylor Greene because she has decided that she is going to attack Trump full-time. President Trump put out a statement on Saturday slamming Greene for trying to undermine his administration. He wrote on Truth Social: Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was. That followed Greene’s repeated attacks on President Trump, particularly over Jeffrey Epstein. On Friday, Greene suggested on CBS that the president of the United States was attempting to protect pedophiles, saying: The American people deserve to see transparency from their government. The Rich, powerful people should not be protected. That is completely wrong. And it’s a message to victims everywhere. Victims of rape, human trafficking, and children who are trapped in terrible situations that the government will not protect the predators, that we will work hard to protect the victims. It is ridiculous to suggest the president of the United States is trying to protect predators. This line has been retailed by a wide variety of people who are supposedly allies of President Trump who have turned on him, using the Epstein files as a way of getting at him. Thus, the president withdrew his support for Marjorie Taylor Greene and suggested that he might back her opponent in the primary. Greene wouldn’t be known if it had not been for the president of the United States touting her, treating her as an ally and building her up. She got very angry because she wanted to run for Senate in Georgia and he pointed out to her she was going to lose by 20 points to Jon Ossoff if she ran for Senate in Georgia. This ticked her off. So President Trump finally lost it on Truth Social, writing: I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. … all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. Greene was excited about this because she’s attempting again to run an anti-Trump campaign inside the Republican Party. And of course, he’s coming hard after me to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next week’s vote to release the Epstein files. It’s astonishing, really, how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level. But really, most Americans wish you would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream. What she is saying, that the president is trying to cover up the Epstein files, is not true. The president made absolutely clear on Sunday that that was not the case. He put out a post on Truth Social that read: As I said on Friday night aboard Air Force One to the Fake News Media, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat “Shutdown.” The Department of Justice has already turned over tens of thousands of pages to the Public on ‘Epstein,’ are looking at various Democrat operatives (Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers, etc.) and their relationship to Epstein, and the House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to, I DON’T CARE! Over the weekend, talking with CNN’s Dana Bash, Greene slammed President Trump for calling her a traitor, even though she has spent the last several months beating up on President Trump over and over and over. “The most hurtful thing he said, which is absolutely untrue, is he called me a traitor,” she said. “And that is so extremely wrong. And those are the types of words used that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger.” The new line that’s being retailed by people like Marjorie Taylor Greene is that criticism of her puts her life in danger. Greene’s idea is that President Trump has not only betrayed MAGA because of Epstein, but also has betrayed MAGA — because she has a different definition of MAGA. And this brings us to what’s really going on under the surface: Marjorie Taylor Greene started caring about the Epstein files in a serious way with regard to President Trump about the same time she got angry at the president’s foreign policy with regard to the Middle East. She, Thomas Massie, and a wide variety of commentators seemed to get very exercised about President Trump and the Epstein files by claiming that President Trump is in thrall to Israel, and that the Epstein files is somehow indicate some sort of Mossad agency operation. What made them mad is that President Trump is not anti-Israel in the same way they are. I’m in favor of all Jeffrey Epstein files being released. I believe the president didn’t want all of them released because he was tired of talking about it, and because his own FBI had told him there was nothing there. But the evidence-free nature of this supposed conspiracy is the reason it’s being trafficked by people like Marjorie Taylor Greene. She thinks President Trump is somehow controlled by the Israelis. The Israeli government would likely have been on board with the idea of toppling the Iranian regime. The president, however, was not, and that was that. The people making arguments like Greene’s are the same people who suggested that bombing the Fordow nuclear reactor was somehow going to lead to World War III and full-scale American involvement in Middle East warfare. Which, of course, never happened. This is the reason why they’re focused on Epstein. Let’s be clear about this — it is not because of Epstein. The Epstein files have been out there. None of these people were screaming bloody murder about the Epstein files when Joe Biden was president of the United States. President Trump comes on the scene, doesn’t do the foreign policy they want, and suddenly they start screaming at the top of their lungs about the Epstein files. This is all part of an attempt to turn MAGA into something it isn’t. Let’s be clear about what MAGA is: President Trump, period. End of story. All attempts to reduce MAGA to some ideological form or fashion are bound to fail because President Trump is sui generis: He contains multitudes. Which means that many people who voted for President Trump disagree with him on a lot of issues. I have disagreed with the president of the United States quite frequently on matters ranging from foreign policy to domestic policy.  But only the president defines what MAGA is. He has always defined what MAGA is. There’s a new movement afoot to try and cobble together pieces of Trump’s coalition and move forward into something different, but to claim the mantle of Trumpism without Trump is a bizarre and ridiculous move.

President Donald Trump doubled down on his call for House Republicans to vote to release the files related to the case involving convicted pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, Monday. “What I don’t want Epstein to do is detract from the great success of the Republican Party,” Trump said during a briefing. “It’s really a Democrat problem. The Democrats were Epstein’s friends, all of them.” It’s a flip for Trump’s recent rhetoric where he opposed the release of the files, but he said he is tired of the situation overshadowing what he’s accomplished. “All I want is for people to recognize the great job that I’ve done on pricing, on energy, on ending eight wars and another one coming pretty soon. We’ve done a great job, and I hate to see that deflect from the great job we’ve done, so I’m all for it.” The White House said in a release Monday that the Democrats aren’t talking about former President Bill Clinton traveling on Epstein’s plane 26 times or the time the Democrats refused to return $32,000 in donations form Epstein. “We have nothing to do with Epstein. The Democrats do. All of his friends were Democrats. You look at this Reed Hoffman (Democrat donor), you look at Larry Summers (Clinton Treasury Secretary), Bill Clinton, they went to his island all the time, and many others, all Democrats.” Trump implied the men he mentioned are the ones who are being looked at “very seriously” for their connections to Epstein. “They were with him all the time. I wasn’t.” Trump said his administration has already released 50,000 pages from the Epstein files. “No matter what we give it’s never enough,” Trump said. Trump said he would sign the bill to release the files when it comes to his desk. “We’ll give them everything… let the Senate look at it. Let anybody look at it.” Sunday night he called for House Republicans to back a vote compelling the Justice Department to release all files connected to the convicted child sex offender. The White House said that the contents confirmed that Trump did not take part in Epstein’s sex crimes. According to CBS, House GOP leaders are expected to hold a vote Tuesday for the full release of the Justice Department’s files on Epstein. The bill is called the Epstein Files Transparency Act. It was introduced in July of this year. In addition to the release of all files related to the investigation and prosecution of Epstein, the bill calls for the release of materials that relate to Ghislaine Maxwell, flight logs and travel records, and individuals named or referenced (including government officials) in connection with the Epstein investigation.    

The Trump administration is backing more legislation that would crack down on crime in the nation’s capital and support police, according to an official White House document obtained by The Daily Wire.   In a statement of policy from the Office of Management and Budget, the White House came out in support of a pair of Republican-backed bills that would require mandatory detention for certain violent crimes like armed robbery and removing cumbersome restrictions on police officers. Both proposals were advanced by the House Oversight Committee on Monday.  “Together, these bills would hold criminals accountable and empower law enforcement officers,” the statement of policy said. “Their reforms would help make America’s Federal city more safe, free, and beautiful and critically advance the President’s broader law and order agenda.” The policy statement indicated that the White House backed New York Rep. Elise Stefanik’s the District of Columbia Cash Bail Reform Act of 2025 (HR 5214) and Georgia Rep. Andrew Clyde’s Common-Sense Law Enforcement and Accountability Now in DC (CLEAN DC) Act of 2025 (HR 5107).  Stefanik’s legislation would “require mandatory pretrial detention for defendants charged with certain enumerated public safety and order crimes. The movement to end cash bail and release dangerous criminals so they can commit more crimes is one of the primary reasons large cities have experienced so many repeat offenders and preventable tragedies. Washington, D.C. is a prime example and this bill will make the streets of our Federal city safer,” according to the statement of policy.  Clyde’s legislation would “reverse unnecessary and detrimental restrictions placed on officers of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). For example, those restrictions include removing all officers and police union representatives from the Police Complaints Board, requiring juries to consider whether an officer consulted with mental health, behavioral health, or social workers before using deadly force, and imposing approval hurdles for the use of riot gear and less-lethal Projectiles.” “Police officers are the backbone of any system of law enforcement, and treating them with suspicion and placing limits on their ability to take potentially life-saving action erodes trust, retention, and, ultimately, public safety,” the statement of policy added. “Removing these restrictions would help restore the effectiveness of the MPD and maintain law and order in Washington, D.C.” Both bills are opposed by D.C.’s Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser and Attorney General Brian Schwalb, who claimed they were an “affront” to the “principles of democracy and local self-governance on which this country was founded.” The Trump administration has surged federal law enforcement to D.C. to crack down on murder, homelessness, and car jackings. As part of this effort, he sent hundreds of National Guard troops to the capital to patrol crime-ridden neighborhoods.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders clarified Monday that no Bear State tax dollars supported a school counselor association that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, after The Daily Signal inquired about military branches—including the Arkansas Air National Guard—sponsoring an annual convention. “Governor Sanders has rooted out critical race theory and other divisive ideologies from state government since taking office, including signing an executive order banning critical race theory in schools on her first day as governor and signing legislation combatting critical race theory and divisive activism in both K-12 schools and higher education,” Sam Dubke, Sanders’ communications director, told The Daily Signal in a statement. Dubke responded to questions regarding the Arkansas School Counselor Association, the state branch of the American School Counselor Association, which has faced criticism for supporting DEI. The nonprofit group Courage Is a Habit released a report last month exposing how ASCA’s official positions echo DEI. According to its website, the Arkansas chapter “adheres to the Code of Ethics and policy statements of” the ASCA. Of the Arkansas chapter, Dubke said, “No Arkansas tax dollars have gone toward this group, and [Sanders’] administration is working to ensure the state does not waste taxpayer money on woke nonsense in the future.” While the Arkansas Air National Guard appears as a “platinum sponsor” of the ArSCA’s annual conference for 2025, Dubke told The Daily Signal that the $2,000 for that sponsorship came from federal tax dollars, not the state’s coffers. Alongside the Arkansas Air National Guard, the ArSCA’s website lists two other military branches as platinum sponsors: the Air National Guard and the United States Army Recruiting Command. When asked about the sponsorships, an Army official stated that the Army is in compliance with policies and suggested that sponsoring the event did not violate President Donald Trump’s executive orders against promoting DEI or any other Department of War policy. Promoting DEI While the ArSCA does not mention its membership numbers, the ASCA claimed in 2023 to have over 43,000 members across the country. According to Courage Is a Habit’s report, “Violation: American School Counselor Association,” the ASCA has repeatedly and systematically supported DEI, from “anti-racist” messaging to pro-transgender policies. In 2021, ASCA adopted an “anti-racist practices” position stating that “racism remains a part of society in the United States and exists throughout all of our institutions.” The policy calls on school counselors to “embrace their ethical responsibilities within roles as social justice advocates, leaders, and change agents” in order to “actively dismantle racist policies, procedures, and practices.” While most Americans oppose racism, the “anti-racist” movement ASCA embraced relies on the teachings of critical race theory, an ideology that contends that America is institutionally racist, so Americans must fundamentally question all of society to find hidden racism and advocate radical changes to remove it. This leads to discrimination, in which Americans seek to redress historic injustices by elevating people from supposedly “oppressed” minority groups. Other ASCA policy documents state that school counselors have a responsibility to “expand personal multicultural and social justice advocacy, awareness, knowledge, and skills,” and that school counselors “advocate for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive students regarding access of building facilities.” The ASCA Ethical Standards document stipulates that school counselors will “actively advocate for systemic and other changes needed for equitable participation and outcomes in educational programs when disproportionality exists regarding enrollment in such programs by race, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation,” and more. The Courage Is a Habit report also notes that ASCA used materials from the Southern Poverty Law Center’s education arm, Learning for Justice, to craft student standards. Specifically, ASCA modeled its Student Standards: Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success and Student Standards Crosswalk on Learning for Justice’s Social Justice Standards. The Southern Poverty Law Center—best known for putting mainstream conservative and Christian nonprofits on a “hate map” with chapters of the Ku Klux Klan—defends critical race theory and Learning for Justice advocates teaching about Black Lives Matter in schools. ASCA’s most recent 2025 National Model for school counseling links to the ASCA Ethical Standards and Student Standards in a section on “definitions.” CIAH_ASCA_Violation_2025Download Trump’s Executive Orders Trump wrote in a January executive order on “ending illegal discrimination and restoring merit-based opportunity” that many institutions “have adopted and actively use dangerous, demeaning, and immoral race- and sex-based preferences under the guise of so-called ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ … that can violate the civil rights laws of this nation.” Trump ordered “all executive departments and agencies to terminate all discriminatory and illegal preferences … and to combat illegal private-sector DEI preferences, mandates, policies, programs, and activities.” Trump issued another executive order on “ending radical indoctrination in K-12 schooling.” His order directs the federal government “to ensure that recipients of federal funds providing K-12 education comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination in various contexts and protecting parental rights.” The Courage Is a Habit report suggests the Department of War sponsorships for the ASCA annual conference violate both executive orders. The Daily Signal reached out to the National Guard, the ASCA, the ArSCA, and the Southern Poverty Law Center for comment but did not receive responses by publication time.
