4 Big Questions About Joe Biden’s Health Cover-Up

Joe Biden was both senile and cancer-ridden during the last years of his presidency. That much is absolutely clear. According to “Original Sin,” the new book from Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, Biden was exhibiting signs of senility for years; his staff worked to cover it up, and a compliant media did its least to investigate. This week, we found out that Biden also has stage-four prostate cancer, which has already metastasized to his bones. There is virtually no way that nobody knew about the cancer until this week; prostate cancer is a slow-moving cancer that is easily detected by routine PSA tests. This is, to put it mildly, one of the biggest scandals in American history. The scandal raises a series of serious questions. The first is obvious: Who the hell was running the White House while Joe Biden’s brain wasn’t working? The obvious suspects include Jill Biden, who must have known about Biden’s senility and yet continued to press him to run for president; Mike Donilon, former Biden adviser; Jeffrey Zients, Biden’s chief of staff; and even Hunter Biden, President Biden’s closest confidant. In fact, according to “Original Sin,” the answer appears to be the convicted felon and former crack addict: Tapper explained this week, “He was almost like a chief of staff … It’s bizarre because I think he is provably, demonstrably unethical, sleazy, and prone to horrible decisions.” Well, yes. The second question is similarly obvious: How long did the Biden family know about Biden’s infirmity? Where the hell was Dr. Jill? Where was Hunter? Or were they all so focused on grifting off the family name that they couldn’t be bothered to truly care for their ailing patriarch? That question turns extraordinarily dark when we consider the question of Biden’s cancer. Was Biden deprived of necessary treatment? Did he go undiagnosed because the family didn’t want to know the answer? We do know that the Biden family has covered up cancer before: when Beau Biden, then the attorney general of Delaware, was suffering from brain cancer, the family worked to lie about it. Then there’s a third question: Where the hell was the legacy media while all of this was happening? The job of the media is to investigate signs and symptoms of corruption or misconduct. It was perfectly obvious to everyone with a prefrontal cortex and working retinas that Joe Biden was in dire mental condition by 2022. Why weren’t the media demanding answers? Were they so committed to the defeat of Donald Trump and the Republicans that they decided to simply look the other way … until precisely the moment Biden’s condition became undeniable, the first debate with Donald Trump? Finally, there’s a fourth question: Who can be trusted at this point? It’s easy to point to the Democrats’ cover-up of Biden’s ailments as proof of their unique dishonesty. But the reality is less comforting: self-interest and malfeasance are human universals—and if the American public are to know the truth about any of their elected officials, they require systems that demand answers. This means, at the very least, that Congress ought to immediately pass a bill demanding yearly complete and transparent physical and mental tests on the president. Our government was not built on trust; it was built on checks and balances. And the fact that the president of the United States was not the president for years, in the face of the blaring light of public attention, shows that our checks and balances have utterly failed. The greatest sign of an imperial presidency is that the president is so unanswerable that he can be nearly clinically dead in public without serious repercussions. Enough is enough. Americans’ trust has been abused over and over and over again over the course of the last decade. And it’s not enough simply to blame those who abused that trust. It’s time to rebuild systems that verify. And that requires actual forethought, honesty and realism about the flaws in human nature—and the willingness of the politically motivated to justify just about anything in the name of desired ends. FTC Escalates Probe Into Media Matters Over Alleged Collusion in Advertiser Boycott of X Platform

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. A federal investigation into Media Matters for America has intensified, with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) demanding records that could shed light on whether the group played a central role in pressuring advertisers to pull out of Elon Musk’s X platform. The request for documents centers on whether the organization coordinated with other media watchdogs or industry coalitions to engineer a widespread boycott of X following Musk’s acquisition of the platform in 2022. According to the investigative demand, the FTC wants access to communications between Media Matters and groups such as the World Federation of Advertisers and its now-disbanded Global Alliance for Responsible Media. The FTC’s letter, which represents a formal escalation of its inquiry, raises the possibility of unlawful collusion among groups that evaluate so-called “misinformation” and “hate speech.” Musk has accused these organizations of working in tandem to drive advertisers off X by portraying the platform as unsafe for brands, claims that underpin multiple lawsuits filed by X against Media Matters and others. After Media Matters released a 2023 report claiming that corporate ads were being shown next to antisemitic content, companies including Apple, Disney, IBM, and Paramount quickly distanced themselves from X. But Musk’s team fired back, saying the report relied on deceptive methods to create an artificial scenario and mislead advertisers. X’s attorneys argued that the content was curated in a manner no ordinary user would encounter. The fallout didn’t stop at corporate withdrawals. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton opened an investigation into Media Matters (though a judge shut it down), citing concerns over fraudulent or unlawful conduct tied to its campaign against X. A federal judge in Texas gave Musk’s defamation lawsuit against the group the green light last year. Media Matters has since filed its own case in California, arguing that it’s being targeted for its journalism and that Musk is attempting to punish dissent through legal harassment. Media Matters president Angelo Carusone responded to the FTC’s latest move by denouncing to Reuters what he described as an abuse of government authority: “The Trump administration has been defined by naming right-wing media figures to key posts and abusing the power of the federal government to bully political opponents and silence critics. It’s clear that’s exactly what’s happening here, given Media Matters’ history of holding those same figures to account. These threats won’t work; we remain steadfast to our mission.” While the FTC itself has not commented, the agency’s chairman, Andrew Ferguson, previously voiced strong opinions about advertiser boycotts targeting X. Long before taking his current post, Ferguson noted that advertisers appeared to be engaging in what he called “concerted refusals to deal,” pointing to potential violations under the Sherman Act. He reiterated in a separate statement that “we must prosecute any unlawful collusion between online platforms, and confront advertiser boycotts which threaten competition among those platforms.” As part of its investigation, the FTC is now examining whether any coordination occurred between Media Matters and other anti-misinformation groups. The probe also includes a review of internal material tied to the lawsuit filed by Musk’s X, where the company alleges that Media Matters knowingly manipulated X’s algorithm to fabricate screenshots and mislead the public about ad placement. While Media Matters denies all allegations and maintains its reporting reflects genuine brand safety risks, the stakes continue to rise. The group claims it has spent millions defending itself against what it views as punitive legal attacks. Musk, meanwhile, hasn’t limited his legal efforts to advocacy groups. Last year, X filed suit against the World Federation of Advertisers and a collection of major brands, arguing that their coordinated pullout constituted an antitrust violation. Those named in the lawsuit have asked for dismissal, asserting that their decisions were based on legitimate business concerns. How Trump broke the illusion of liberal Christian 'compassion'

How Trump broke the illusion of liberal Christian 'compassion'

The backlash came fast. Last week, a plane landed: 59 Afrikaners, mostly farmers, mostly white. Trump called it a genocide. MSNBC called it racism. Turning away the persecuted because they’re the wrong color is not justice; it’s betrayal. Just like that, we were off. Cue the outrage cycle, fearmongering chyrons, left-wing think pieces, and Twitter threads from soft-palmed theologians who wouldn’t recognize a plow if it hit them in the face. “This isn’t what Christianity looks like,” they screamed. But that’s precisely the problem. Trump’s version of Christianity doesn’t look the way they want it to. It doesn’t speak in nonprofit euphemisms, hold committee meetings on climate equity, sing hymns to intersectionality, or check in with the Episcopal diocese before making moral decisions. It does something far more offensive: It acts on behalf of people the professional Christian class has decided no longer count. In other words, white, rural, conservative Christians who don’t fit the preapproved narrative. Since the fall of apartheid, over 2,000 South African farmers — the majority of whom are white and Christian — have been murdered. It’s not a conspiracy theory. It’s documented by AfriForum, confirmed by Genocide Watch, and still chanted in the streets: “Kill the Boer, kill the farmer.” Yet none of this made it into the MSNBC segment. No photos, testimonies, or grieving families. Just condemnation of Trump’s optics. Instead, somewhat preposterously, MSNBC fixated on the Trump administration’s decision to revoke Temporary Protected Status for Afghans. It was painted as cruel, hypocritical, and — gasp — even racist. But that myopic take ignores what TPS is and what it isn’t. TPS was never intended as a permanent visa. It's in the name, after all — temporary. It was created as short-term protection for people fleeing war zones, natural disasters, or sudden upheaval. The expectation was clear: Once conditions stabilized, people would return home. It was not meant to be a substitute for asylum or a silent pathway to permanent residency. It was designed to function like a humanitarian stopgap, not a loophole. The legacy media could have made that distinction, but they chose not to. Of course, we know why: Saying Trump followed legal protocol doesn’t sell. Saying he’s racist does. Moreover, revoking TPS doesn’t mean automatic deportations. It means re-evaluating immigration pathways through more deliberate channels. In other words, more structure, more security screening, and more accountability. But the media don't want to hear that. They want to frame the whole thing as ethnic cleansing with a press release. The disingenuity and deception are staggering. Which brings us to the Episcopal Church. This is the same denomination that once prided itself on global humanitarian work. The same church that took federal money for decades to resettle migrants and called it Christlike, that praised itself for “prophetic witness” under every administration — until Trump. Then, suddenly, moral clarity became optional. Compassion had a disclaimer. And Christian charity came with a footnote: Only if it’s politically convenient and only if the suffering checks the right boxes. “In light of our church’s steadfast commitment to racial justice,” said Bishop Sean Rowe, justifying the Church’s refusal to assist in resettling white South African Christians. Apparently, justice stops when the victims are white. That’s not moral clarity. That’s selective compassion. It’s the Episcopal Church as a cultural concierge, offering mercy only when it’s fashionable, when it photographs well, and when it won’t rattle the donor base or offend the editorial board. But that’s the exact opposite of Christianity’s core ethic. The gospel doesn’t filter the wounded. Christ didn’t ask for demographic credentials before healing the sick. Turning away the persecuted because they’re the wrong color is not justice — it’s betrayal. Trump, for all his flaws, didn’t play that game. He didn’t wait for theological consensus. He didn’t ask whether these Christians were the right kind. He just acted. And in doing so, he exposed the uncomfortable truth: The real split in American Christianity isn’t between denominations. It’s between those who believe faith should do something and those who believe it should signal something. Trump’s Christianity doesn’t flatter elites, quote theologian Karl Barth, or attend interfaith summits. It doesn’t apologize for its roots or rename Christmas. It’s blunt, imperfect, pragmatic, and deeply offensive to the people who have turned Christianity into a lifestyle brand. But look at the record. Trump’s administration fast-tracked Syrian and Iraqi Christian refugees, groups the Obama administration left behind. He raised the profile of Nigerian Christians being slaughtered by Fulani militias. He placed visa restrictions on regimes that persecuted believers. The liberal media barely covered it. But ask Christians from Qaraqosh or Kaduna who showed up. It wasn’t NPR or the National Council of Churches. It was Trump’s State Department — and here they are showing up again. Many in the American church, at least the part that gets airtime like the Episcopal Church, aren't interested in defending the faith. They're more interested in managing it, sanding down its edges, apologizing for its past, and translating it into something that looks more like a DEI seminar. When someone breaks that mold — when someone like Trump uses it as a vehicle for action — they call it heresy. But maybe heresy isn’t the problem. Maybe the problem is a faith that has become allergic to strength, certainty, and action without apology.

RFK's highly anticipated MAHA report paints dark picture of America's health crisis

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. released his 68-page MAHA Commission report detailing the dark reality of America's health and how to fix it. Kennedy's report highlights root causes of chronic diseases, obesity, autoimmune conditions, and behavior disorders in children. The report points to multiple culprits, including ultra-processed foods, exposure to chemicals like pesticides, and lack of exercise, as well as "overmedicalization." Underlying all of these issues, the report notes that corporate influence in medicine and health care has been one of the driving forces that has led to all of these problems. "To turn the tide and better protect our children, the United States must act decisively," the report reads. "During this administration, we will begin reversing the childhood chronic disease crisis by confronting its root causes — not just its symptoms. This means pursuing truth, embracing science, and enacting pro-growth policies and innovations to restore children’s health. Today’s children are tomorrow’s workforce, caregivers, and leaders — we can no longer afford to ignore this crisis." 'This strategic realignment will ensure that all Americans — today and in the future — live longer, healthier lives.' RELATED: 100 days of MAHA: What has Robert F. Kennedy Jr. done so far to make America healthy again? Photo by JIM WATSON/AFP via Getty Images "After a century of costly and ineffective approaches, the federal government will lead a coordinated transformation of our food, health, and scientific systems," the report reads. "This strategic realignment will ensure that all Americans — today and in the future — live longer, healthier lives, supported by systems that prioritize prevention, well-being, and resilience." The MAHA Commission, which was established by one of President Donald Trump's executive orders, was tasked with investigating the drivers of America's health epidemic. The report found that as much as 70% of foods children consume contain ultra-processed ingredients and concluded that scientific funding for pharmaceutical, chemical, and food companies has contributed to rising chronic diseases. Additionally, the report found that there's been a 1,400% increase in prescriptions for antidepressants in American children from 1987 to 2014, also known as "overmedicalization." The report also questioned the current childhood vaccine protocol and said that vaccines would benefit from a "more rigorous clinical trial" design. RELATED: HHS scrapping COVID jab recommendations for pregnant moms and kids: Report Photo by Rebecca Noble/Getty Images To address the many failures that have affected American children's health, the report also put forward a "gold standard" research initiative that includes nutrition trials, drug safety research, and large-scale lifestyle interventions. "Some of the steps to implement these research initiatives are already underway and others will begin this in the near future," the report reads. "In parallel, the MAHA Commission will immediately begin working on developing the strategy to make our children healthy again — due in August 2025. We invite all of America, especially the private sector and academia, to be part of the solution." Like Blaze News? 25 years later, beloved PC classics Myst and Riven just got new 2.0 updates

The history of Myst is lengthy and storied. The original game arrived in 1993, but, over the years, it’s been remastered, remade, and expanded enough times that it can be tough to keep track of what’s new and what’s old. But one thing has always remained true: all it takes is a single screenshot, and you know you’re looking at Myst. A true PC classic, Cyan Worlds’ point-and-click is still one of the most visually distinctive games of all time. Riven, the sequel, looks just as good - in an era of high-fidelity and photorealism, these games still stand out by the sheer power of their design. And now, they’ve just been updated. The original version of Riven, and the 2000 re-release of Myst, are now officially in 2.0.
